It’s a really good children’s show. I’m 24 and I really enjoyed what it’s able to produce for children with regards to life lessons, but also the music is catchy and if you love Lion King it brings back a lot of nostalgia
Honestly, Rani and Kion have the most wholesome relationship in the show, and Kion's characters really developed after meeting Rani and the night pride

So this is the REAL REASON why Kion was absent from the events of Lion King 2: Simba's Pride.. He had been the leader of the Lion Guard until he was attacked by Scar's snake minion and eventually ended up the King of the Tree of Life

S1 and S2 had alot of downsides, but some episodes picked up, and the whole season 3 is really great, even adults can be having a fun time with season 3 despite it being designed for kids. Honestly S3 had done a few things that were better than in tlk2.
Well, it did go beyond being just a kids show, and I like it. It is part of The Lion King franchise so you'll definitely expect it to be for pretty much everyone.
If it ever get a season 4. I want this show on Disney channel. Because the show first air in 2015. When I was still in high school. Now it 2019 and about to hit 2020. So basically the fans gotten older and if it happens. I think show needs a little update since it's so popular now😀.

Yup couldn’t agree more it just kinda solidifies the series as being cannon/connected to the actual movies because it explains That Simba did have another kid he was just busy throughout the events of the film. Also at least for me I rewatched some songs and scenes from the 2nd one to see if it could actually connect and some lyrics and lines could be used to connect to the lion guard

acousticjams1 but they could choose to ignore or acknowledge this story the 4th movie of this franchise essentially would be good but not the same as it was back then because society has changed and things taught from the movie would be relating to what’s going on today in the world.
Their relationship was perfect. They started out as enemies then they were unlikely allies after getting to know each other they actually accepted to work together, eventually becoming friends. And at last after a whole journey to protect the Tree of Life and the death of Queen Janna, they had feelings for each other and they got married. Why can't more romances be like this?

Kion, Kovu, Rani and Kiara are all so goddamn amazing as characters! Kion's development and his sweet relationship with Rani is so well executed and paced!
In the words of Mufasa from the 2019 film “While others search for what they can take, a true king searches for what he can give.” Kion I feel not only truly mastered the roar but also became a true king in more ways than one. I honestly feel that Kion is who Scar could’ve been had Scar not turned evil. Yes, Kion did make mistakes and struggled with his emotions and the roar when he received his scar. But not only did he receive his healing but he also willingly chose to give up his role as leader of the Lion Guard because not only did he realize that by letting the roar go he could truly master it but also that he could now forge his own destiny rather than take away somebody else’s. Unlike Scar obviously.
"Those who gained powers are all afraid to lose them", by letting his roar go, Kion took his final step towards the great leader that he wanted to be. I was literally applauding when I saw that scene, and for the entire season. Kion is presented with the most difficult enemy and the most challenging task a man can have, that is to defeat the twisted Kion wrapped in fear and anger, and on top of that, become someone which is even better than his best before. And we see him, doing all of this, by himself. I was damn certain that in many scenes, if it was me, I would certainly give in. But the passion and the strong will Kion presented to me, just made me feel astonished and even ashamed of the choices I made in the past. I was left shocked for so many days and I kept reflecting on myself ever since then. Final thoughts, damn impressive, Kion!

That just made me firmly believed that Kion does not belong to the pridelands. He's just too good to be in that place, he needs a much bigger stage and deserves a mcuh better girl too lol. I guess Mufasa will be so proud that the child he does guide personally turns out to be such a majestic being.
I love The Lion Guard. I watched the whole series and fell in love immideatly. Sure, there were a few plot holes and I didn’t really like how they changed Kiara´s personality, but I love everything else about the series. If they ever make a season 4, I hope it´ll focus on the future of the Pride Lands and of the Tree Of Life.

I know this show is for kids but i really enjoyed most of the lion guard. The animation style took a really long time for me to get use to (the heights), I wished they slowly aged the group up a little more on their way to the tree of life, I wonder if beshte will return to the pride lands permanently one day to take over the pod if his dad dies or steps down. Before watching your videos i saw maybe 5 episodes but you made me want to check out the full series thank you.

I find curious that kion didn't fell in love with an african lioness instead he fell in love with the asiatic subspecies. Same happens with fuli and bunga.
dragon leo Ween he was just pre teen he don’t mind things like love but after he became teenager he don’t have time for love after battle for pride lands he became close with Rani and I think Kion was more close to other animals than lions except his family.
Maybe Kovu WAS a night pride member once. If you remember Nuka said scar took him in. Perhaps he was left behind while the pack was finding a new home and Scar came across him one day and took him back.
Kaitlyn Buck Doubtful- I would say it’s more likely Kovu’s father was of the night pride. I believe maybe Zira was a rogue lioness who met a male from the nightpride, and got pregnant with Kovu and Vitani. They seem to the the exact same age, and it’s confirmed Zira IS their mother. Maybe when Scar was ruling he took Zira in, who was pregnant. She fell for Scar- and when she gave birth to her two cubs and the male looked like Scar, he chose him to be the next leader, as Zira was his most loyal follower since she felt indebted to him, and in love with him, so he trusted her to raise his future heir. That’s my theory anyway!

I'd trust the people behind this show to make a pg version. This series actually takes itself seriously alot of the time and has a set storyline. I was surprised at how fun and acceptable it really is to watch. If they ever give this show a season 4 or a new series that could focus on Kion at the tree of life, I would be so down for it be on Disney Channel instead of Disney Junior so that it can be more serious and such. It has alot of potential!
Although in terms of the actual video today. I really do dig Kion and Rani’s story and relationship(even more so than Kiara and Kovu). And like I said before I honestly feel like The Lion Guard has a much better conclusion to its series than a few other certain animated shows these days (Looking at you Star vs. the forces of evil and Voltron Legendary Defender).
I like how it showed Baliyo and Surak grieving and shedding tears, not just Rani Nirmala. It shows that men can be strong, and that it's okay to cry and grieve. Surak openly wept and comforted Baliyo... it was good to see. RIP Queen Janna
I really like Kion and Rani relationship because they are similar to each other in many ways and I nearly cried when I watched Of the same pride for the first time because of the journey that both Kion and Rani went to get to that moment and Long live the King and Queen
This show was seriously underrated. It was one of those shows that while was made for kids, it became something for everyone and had so many life lessons that even grown ups can take away from.
Really the the destiny of the lion guard has always belonged to the pridelands, kions sense of duty had conflicted his mind but his heart had already chosen rani, I really feel the last two episodes were about kion giving that destiny back to the pridelands so he could embrace the destiny he can have with the lioness he came to love
Yeah, Kion's destiny has been foreshadowed since the first episode of the show when Kiara asked him what he wanted to do with his life since she would be Queen and had her destiny already planned out, and Kion replied that he'd be "Happy?". Kion has always been a character conflicted with what he was expected to do or what his duty required him to do, verses what HE wanted.

What is next in this glorious canon of the Lion King. I think we all can agree we would love to see more of Vitani's Lion Guard or of King Kion and Queen Rani. I would love to see Kion and Rani from Disney. Hopefully, we get a 4th season or a whole new series altogether.

When I get older like in the 20s I'm never gona forget this show its literally my favourite out of all . Also to be honest I really wanted fuli to be with kion because Kion made fuli in charge most of the time, and he depends on fuli the most I mean azzad and fuli go perfectly together and rani and kion but fuli should be with kion personaly .

That‘s because male lions are bigger than female lionesses. I‘m pretty sure, that Kion and Rani are about the same age. Also, Kion is Kiaras younger brother but roughly the same size, so it does make sense, that Ranis brother, who is only slightly younger than her, is a little bit taller.
Maybe they’re twins but Rani was much more mature compared to Baliyo, that’s why she’s chosen to be queen . Kion and Baliyo have the same strength in the fight when Kion arrived at the tree of life so they should be the same age.
I had originally thought that Kion And Rani's romance was a bit rushed. I also originally questioned if Rani loved Kion or if she only wanted him for The Roar. I had to go back and look at the last two episodes to really appreciate that they did indeed fall in love. Your video does a great job of showing how the show actually built their romance. I personally wished Kion (and everyone else) could have been aged up more as I thought They seemed to young to get married. However seeing as Neither Kion or Rani's families had any objections to their marriage that is obviously not the case. Kion will likely have a young mane somewhat smaller than Kovu's in a year's time.
Here’s the main reason: they’re literally reflections of each other, the only difference is that rani was destined to be queen. They lead the exact same way, think the same way, know how to comfort other’s, both want to help each other out. And they loved each other since before rani became queen, just look at their expressions after kion say’s thanks rani. for helping out beshte, even while he was destroying stuff in ghe tree of life.
So sad we won't get anymore of this amazing show and rani and kion storyline since the sequel night guard was cancelled even though it have been two years i am still hoping the show gets a revival

I love your videos but I feel like you missed some key moments of significance in the build of this pairing. You mentioned the contention at their first meeting and her grandmother’s insistence to invite Kion in, but not Kion’s humility and sacrifice upon her return. He apologized for using the roar, agreed to leave and never return, but asked that Ono be healed. I feel this was a major moment because this is where Rani first saw his true nature and came to respect him. Even without her orders, in that moment she saw him as worthy of being let in. Another moment of significance I felt should have been touched on was their conversation at the coronation. You mentioned how Kion helped Rani, but not how she returned the gesture by urging him to speak with Mufasa, which he’d been avoiding since his scar.
Isaac Carlson 685K subscribers I really really really really liked how the creators, directors, and producers of "The Lion Guard" TV Series made Kion and Rani's slow building relationship at first being briefly enemies.... then friends..... and then masking it all the way to falling in love, getting married, and becoming King and Queen of the Tree of Life, living happily ever after.... which makes 100% perfect sense in my opinion. Now.... THAT right there is exactly how you do a proper relationship.

I watch the first two season, and though the show was just alright. I was planning on not watching the show any further, but then I saw the design change for season 3 and decided to give it another shot. I was completely blown away by it. I am still surprised that they had an on-screen death in a show intended for preschoolers, not only that but it was handle pretty well too. Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of The Lion King franchise.

Even though I’m desently old I watched the lion guard series because I loved the lion king and I love the lion guard as well Im kinda upset that I won’t see anything in relation to the lion king
First, they didn’t have much of a choice because Disney only does 3 season series consistently. Second, not much they could do other than have it become repetitive to save the animals from trouble. Third, they essentially had to follow the Lion King 2 storyline if they wanted to make it cannon and have it occur during the events of the film. Only thing they could have done was have a few more interactions with Zira and Kovu
Laganja Edwards there are many contributing factors I agree, but the most prominent one to me is Disney’s consistency of cancelling shows after 3 seasons a rare few have gone between 5-7. Also preparing for the Disney plus streaming network they have to start focusing on new content. Also not sure if there will ever be anything Lion King related in the coming years because they can’t just kill off Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Zazu and start a fourth movie with Kovu/Kiara, Kion/Rani.

In the words of Mufasa from the 2019 film “While others search for what they can take, a true king searches for what he can give.” Kion I feel not only truly mastered the roar but also became a true king in more ways than one. I honestly feel that Kion is who Scar could’ve been had Scar not turned evil. Yes, Kion did make mistakes and struggled with his emotions and the roar when he received his scar. But not only did he receive his healing but he also willingly chose to give up his role as leader of the Lion Guard because not only did he realize that by letting the roar go he could truly master it but also that he could now forge his own destiny rather than take away somebody else’s. Unlike Scar obviously.
"Those who gained powers are all afraid to lose them", by letting his roar go, Kion took his final step towards the great leader that he wanted to be. I was literally applauding when I saw that scene, and for the entire season. Kion is presented with the most difficult enemy and the most challenging task a man can have, that is to defeat the twisted Kion wrapped in fear and anger, and on top of that, become someone which is even better than his best before. And we see him, doing all of this, by himself. I was damn certain that in many scenes, if it was me, I would certainly give in. But the passion and the strong will Kion presented to me, just made me feel astonished and even ashamed of the choices I made in the past. I was left shocked for so many days and I kept reflecting on myself ever since then.

That just made me firmly believed that Kion does not belong to the pridelands. He's just too good to be in that place, he needs a much bigger stage and deserves a mcuh better girl too lol. I love The Lion Guard. I watched the whole series and fell in love immideatly. Sure, there were a few plot holes and I didn’t really like how they changed Kiara´s personality, but I love everything else about the series. If they ever make a season 4, I hope it´ll focus on the future of the Pride Lands and of the Tree Of Life.

I know this show is for kids but i really enjoyed most of the lion guard. The animation style took a really long time for me to get use to (the heights), I wished they slowly aged the group up a little more on their way to the tree of life, I wonder if beshte will return to the pride lands permanently one day to take over the pod if his dad dies or steps down.

I believe maybe Zira was a rogue lioness who met a male from the nightpride, and got pregnant with Kovu and Vitani. They seem to the the exact same age, and it’s confirmed Zira IS their mother. Maybe when Scar was ruling he took Zira in, who was pregnant. She fell for Scar- and when she gave birth to her two cubs and the male looked like Scar, he chose him to be the next leader, as Zira was his most loyal follower since she felt indebted to him, and in love with him, so he trusted her to raise his future heir. That’s my theory anyway!

This series actually takes itself seriously alot of the time and has a set storyline.
I was surprised at how fun and acceptable it really is to watch. If they ever give this show a season 4 or a new series that could focus on Kion at the tree of life, I would be so down for it be on Disney Channel instead of Disney Junior so that it can be more serious and such. It has alot of potential!
Although in terms of the actual video today. I really do dig Kion and Rani’s story and relationship(even more so than Kiara and Kovu). And like I said before I honestly feel like The Lion Guard has a much better conclusion to its series than a few other certain animated shows these days (Looking at you Star vs. the forces of evil and Voltron Legendary Defender).

I really like Kion and Rani relationship because they are similar to each other in many ways and I nearly cried when I watched Of the same pride for the first time because of the journey that both Kion and Rani went to get to that moment and Long live the King and Queen
I watched it on repeat. That's how much I love that song. When it came out.
My favorite part was when he said that Rani loved Kion and when he said that Kion had feelings for Rani.
This show was seriously underrated. It was one of those shows that while was made for kids, it became something for everyone and had so many life lessons that even grown ups can take away from.

Really the the destiny of the lion guard has always belonged to the pridelands, kions sense of duty had conflicted his mind but his heart had already chosen rani, I really feel the last two episodes were about kion giving that destiny back to the pridelands so he could embrace the destiny he can have with the lioness he came to love
Yeah, Kion's destiny has been foreshadowed since the first episode of the show when Kiara asked him what he wanted to do with his life since she would be Queen and had her destiny already planned out, and Kion replied that he'd be "Happy?". Kion has always been a character conflicted with what he was expected to do or what his duty required him to do, verses what HE wanted.

That‘s because male lions are bigger than female lionesses. I‘m pretty sure, that Kion and Rani are about the same age. Also, Kion is Kiaras younger brother but roughly the same size, so it does make sense, that Ranis brother, who is only slightly younger than her, is a little bit taller.
Maybe they’re twins but Rani was much more mature compared to Baliyo, that’s why she’s chosen to be queen . Kion and Baliyo have the same strength in the fight when Kion arrived at the tree of life so they should be the same age.

I had originally thought that Kion And Rani's romance was a bit rushed. I also originally questioned if Rani loved Kion or if she only wanted him for The Roar. I had to go back and look at the last two episodes to really appreciate that they did indeed fall in love. Your video does a great job of showing how the show actually built their romance. I personally wished Kion (and everyone else) could have been aged up more as I thought They seemed to young to get married. However seeing as Neither Kion or Rani's families had any objections to their marriage that is obviously not the case. Kion will likely have a young mane somewhat smaller than Kovu's in a year's time.

Here’s the main reason: they’re literally reflections of each other, the only difference is that rani was destined to be queen. They lead the exact same way, think the same way, know how to comfort other’s, both want to help each other out. And they loved each other since before rani became queen, just look at their expressions after kion say’s thanks rani. for helping out beshte, even while he was destroying stuff in ghe tree of life.
So sad we won't get anymore of this amazing show and rani and kion storyline since the sequel night guard was cancelled even though it have been two years i am still hoping the show gets a revival

I love your videos but I feel like you missed some key moments of significance in the build of this pairing. You mentioned the contention at their first meeting and her grandmother’s insistence to invite Kion in, but not Kion’s humility and sacrifice upon her return. He apologized for using the roar, agreed to leave and never return, but asked that Ono be healed. I feel this was a major moment because this is where Rani first saw his true nature and came to respect him. Even without her orders, in that moment she saw him as worthy of being let in. Another moment of significance I felt should have been touched on was their conversation at the coronation. You mentioned how Kion helped Rani, but not how she returned the gesture by urging him to speak with Mufasa, which he’d been avoiding since his scar.

685K subscribers I really really really really liked how the creators, directors, and producers of "The Lion Guard" TV Series made Kion and Rani's slow building relationship at first being briefly enemies.... then friends..... and then masking it all the way to falling in love, getting married, and becoming King and Queen of the Tree of Life, living happily ever after.... which makes 100% perfect sense in my opinion. Now.... THAT right there is exactly how you do a proper relationship.
I may be a grown adult but dammit this show is too good not to enjoy, especially towards the end! I think The Lion Guard is honestly a great show with new lessons for any age group. Good stuff ✌

I watch the first two season, and though the show was just alright. I was planning on not watching the show any further, but then I saw the design change for season 3 and decided to give it another shot. I was completely blown away by it. I am still surprised that they had an on-screen death in a show intended for preschoolers, not only that but it was handle pretty well too. Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of The Lion King franchise.

Wait...they already concluded The Lion Guard? That feels a little rushed.
First, they didn’t have much of a choice because Disney only does 3 season series consistently. Second, not much they could do other than have it become repetitive to save the animals from trouble. Third, they essentially had to follow the Lion King 2 storyline if they wanted to make it cannon and have it occur during the events of the film. Only thing they could have done was have a few more interactions with Zira and Kovu

Laganja Edwards there are many contributing factors I agree, but the most prominent one to me is Disney’s consistency of cancelling shows after 3 seasons a rare few have gone between 5-7. Also preparing for the Disney plus streaming network they have to start focusing on new content.
Also not sure if there will ever be anything Lion King related in the coming years because they can’t just kill off Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Zazu and start a fourth movie with Kovu/Kiara, Kion/Rani.
