You should also do tests with multiple concurrent users, see where the top limit is for each one. (For these plans somewhere between 400-800 users should be the sweetspot where a difference is seen) This is actually the best metric especially for the higher plans, since only running a website for a few users will always have similar results, cause the peak performance is never reached, so with this approach it actually doesn't matter that much how many processors or ram you have.

You should compare the basic contabo plan with basic plans from other hosts. Many videos are out there that conclude contabo even not perform like DO, vulture, or linode basic plan. I am quite surprised with all this results.

Which VPS do you recommend? Are there any catches for Contabo having much better specs for the price? What about Hetzner also?
I expected they would be on par with each other for all the tests except the load test. Pleased to see a new contender,. Hopefully, these are not just promo prices to extablish themselves then pump up prices little by little.

The VPS S Plan of contabo has a 200 Mbits connection whereas the vultr or DO has 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps. I am looking to clear my confusion between contabo, DO, Vultr and Linode. Which one do you prefer personally for WordPress sites?
I actually have most of my websites on WPX which is a managed WordPress hosting platform. For some of my smaller sites, I am using Linode
Tony, can you do similar tests with Hetzner Cloud? Also do a more heavy load testing like 1000-2000 users per _second_ kinda heavy. The $12 Contabo server should be fine with such traffic is it's specs are real?

I think Contabo is shared-core and the other ones are dedicated no? You may have to deal with CPU-steal if their servers experience high traffic

Just curious to know if it is a paid review? Because the Contabo VPS is a shared platform while the Digital Ocean Or Linode, etc. at the cost of $80 are all dedicated servers. Both Digital Ocean and Linode have shared VPS which comes at a cost of as low as $5. I have used Digital Ocean and Linode. I wanted to test run Contabo which is why I viewed your comparison video. But it is not truly justified.
Ive tried all. Contabo u need to pay upfront monthlt or the vps or vds. Pricing wise i would say contabo best bang for buck.
Feature and UI. Vultr and linode win.

DG has better support center, easy upscale dan downscale, has more bandwidth etc... cmiiw
You should not use Vultr bandwidth will charge beautiful way.
My account limit is 250 usd. For instance I subscribed 160/month. My credit card has been charged nearly 500 USD and cannot be removed. Until now just nearly 14 days. No control over your bandwidth until you run out of money.
I used Contabo's service for more than two months before they claimed that my virtual private server had a virus and asked to arbitrarily terminate it. They then demanded that I pay an additional service cost of 34.05 dollars to reopen the virtual private server. My virtual private server, however, just uses it for personal purposes and does not access or download any malicious software. To reopen the VPS, this company made me pay the aforementioned price. There is no method for me to recover my deleted data. Beware of this type of deception if you discover that Contabo offers a cheap virtual private server service you can utilize. It's a fraud.
