Detroit Lions this season will not surprise anyone, they are a well oiled machine, strong at every position on every posetion, i am a big believer in this team
Absolutely a masterclass of an interview by Mina here, subtly showing a deep understanding of the game and providing unique, interesting questions. Keep up the good work!
Yup, deserved that three peat. Botched call erased what would have been a historical game 6 performance on a bad ankle. Still historical, just not like it would have been
@@christopherallen9476 I was at that game 6. I thought Isiah was going to will the Pistons to their 1st ever championship. Then the "Phantom Foul" was called on Laimbeer. One of the most heart-wrenching losses...EVER! I was definitely sick after game 7.
@@artmeddaugh6669 I’ve been bitter about it for the past 37 years! Those piston teams were easily amongst the all-time greats and better than most of them the NBA hated them and they’re officials took championships away from them!
Yeah, it's cool. His background makes you want to root for him. However, I can't do that, because he's a dang Detroit Lion. Therefore, I root for his brother. Let's Go Nimi!
Great interview. Mina did a great job adjusting broad questions to something Amon-Ra was more comfortable asking. This dude is wonderful and he takes everything so serious 😂😂😂 l loved his interview on The Pivot trying to explain how he is really a playful guy 😂 Do you Sun God, it works and we love you.
Sheesh that's big idk if anyone will get to Barry's love from me lol! Megatron is up there same with St Brown but he has to do some more for that title
I wouldn't call it disrespect, they are just trying to get viewers from multiple fan bases and getting the no 1 overall pick as QB with an up and coming team is a big deal. That being said, Lions are still the best in the NFC North and most of them won't refute that. It's their job to hype up other teams. I wouldn't want the Lions to be treated like the cowboys are by the media. Keep that chip on the Lions shoulders
The more I get to know St. The more respect I have for him. He always speaks clearly and respectfully, no slang, no attitude, he just answers the questions. Reminds me of a humble Barry Sanders. Act like you’ve been there before. One Pride.
Calling it Lions lift the Lombardi! Fan since 68 never said it before till now. All because of leaders like St. Brown. Check out his podcast w/ brother Eq excellent! #OnePride14
Goff was the best in the league in three passing types last year per PFF: Hitches, seams and... in-breaking routes. Like, 93 PFF rating on in-breakers. And now, for the first time in Detroit, he's got a guy who can blow the top off the defense. This year is going to be SO LIT.
They always go for it on 4th down for 2 reasons.... MCDC is huge on analytics, and we never had a kicker (since prater), that could consistently hit FG's over 42 yards. We now have Jake Bates, HUGE LEG. He may miss a few until they coach him up, but when it comes to the big kicks, he kills all of those.
Exactly!! People act like MCDC is a caveman that just randomly goes for it. ALL the good coaches with good offenses do it now. Especially 5 yards or less in plus territory. Whole playbook is open.
Top to bottom, from Brad to the practice squad - the Lions might be the most intelligent team in the league. Ain't a single dummy on that roster or in that front office.
Let's not mention the two key drops, fumble, CB that let a ball bounce his face for a catch, and the defense that thought it was a great time to nap in the second half.
Stay in that mindset. The NFL is evolving. Offense has the advantage in every way now. If your team has an 80% 4th down conversion rate and you trust the playcaller (Ben Johnson) all your team has to do is execute. If Reynolds catches those 2 dropped passes, the Lions win that game. If Vildor doesnt let a pass bounce off his face into the the air for a layup reception that SHOULD HAVE been a wild interception, the Lions win that game. If the kicker, who was absolute BUTTCHEEKS, misses those kicks, the other team has great field position and the Lions likely lose. The choice was obvious.
I’d like to follow it up with, there’s only one team that won the Super Bowl the past two years so unless you’re a Kansas City Chiefs fan please keep the yapper shut…😳😉
Keep in mind this guy had a hell of a season with a torn oblique, don’t be surprised if this guy leads the league in yards this year.

It was a torn oblique, not a torn pec. No way you should be playing football with a torn pectoral lol.
Amon-Ra still a beast though fs
