I had the chance to listen to this double album, and..... this is something mesmerizingly deep in human's soul. This is.... well. You say a music can be great, brilliant, amazing. But there are no words for this. This is beyond music. This is the words of the soul's deepest pits. A journey to the roots. Thank you Bell Witch for this experience! Hope you can recover from your loss.
What you depicted in these sounds brings me to the alpha zero state , it is as this was a space already created somewhere and somehow in existance and you linked our world with it through your music and the state with wich you connected in the first place, for me its like a peaceful purgatorium it has wasteland and also valleys full of life, death and life in a eternal pause, thank you so much.
Billy Goate Wow that is a long time for a cat, sorry for your loss...I hope my kitty lives that long, I love her so much, shes 13 now going strong _/\_
Does anyone know the times this part of the piece is? The start and end of it, in relation to the record? I ask because it's supposedly one massive song
I checked this out because of the art, but musically it's not very creative, it just drones, very simplistic, and never really goes anywhere... for 10 minutes... definite pass for me. Now, don't get me wrong, I have and love plenty ambient and dark ambient style albums... but this just isn't doing it for me...
Jonathan Berman lol it's funeral doom. It's about atmosphere and soundscape not about how pretentiously virtuosic it can be. Complaining about how it's not "creative", whatever the fuck that actually means, is like saying u don't like oranges cuz they don't taste enough like apples
Rationalize it all you like, but that sounds equally as pretentious... fact is, I love a lot of dark, ambient music... Ulver, Aghast, Accurst, Judgehydrogen, and others... and while saying lacking creativity is subjective, I do expect more than droning the same notes for 10 minutes... anyone can do that... it needs more... whatever "more" means to you, it needs it.
nah david he's right it's not very creative. this is regular ol' funeral doom there's nothing new about it. but that's not always a bad thing. this is pretty sweet even if it's derivative
Mmm, I guess you're right. Still curious for the album though. You are right that it's a little bit dissapointing, but that is also subjective cause it is about athmosphere. Strange thing sometimes it falls into place (minolith & dimensions from Sunno))) and sometimes not (Sunno)))'s Kannon). Also that is subjective. Isn't that the good thing about this kind of music.
Artwork of the year!
I don't really listen to doom metal often, but that album cover made me want to check this out
People react in an incredibly positive way to a really grim and dour and difficult music. I love this.

The Album art cover artist is Mariusz Lewandowski.
The song and cover art really compliment each other. I can't stop staring at it lol.
Mariusz Lewandowski!
I love his paintings!
Within the first 30 seconds I had already made up my mind to preorder this thing. Soooo pumped, profound lore is KILLING IT this year!!!
Too hype for this new album. Going to be monumental.
My favorite funeral doom band for sure
So good.
I am SO happy they're back!
Oh, look, hear, shudder and tremble, a teaser for the Best Album of 2017.
Bring it on, Bell Witch. Don't you ever close these wounds.

Moving! Utterly moving...great art from great artists.
Soul crushing
the cover art reminds me of dark souls and this sounds great as well !
Totally agree. Has a huge Souls vibe to it.
Cover art looks like a Zdzislaw Beksinski's painting. Could actually be one.
Roman Lamcev whats your point?
If you like the cover art, definitely check out Beksinski's work
Roman Lamcev i will definitely check it out he's very talented
When I was looking for the perfect music to help me bury my 29-year old cat, I turned to Bell Witch.
Billy Goate sorry about your cat :(
29?
some cats can live that long. that is heroically old though. so yeh, Bell Witch is going to be apt
Billy Goate Wow that is a long time for a cat, sorry for your loss...I hope my kitty lives that long, I love her so much, shes 13 now going strong _/\_
No greater pain, man. My condolences.
the album cover is sick as fuck!

Haven't heard anything this good sense ahab
omg . I love this
I am ready.
Looks and sounds amazing Dylan! Can't wait to get my hands on this one. See you on 11/12
One of the best album covers that i've seen so far
Super tasty, full of slow-cooking riffs as I love💜💙
Posibly a Zdzisław Beksiński painting for the cover
Donal O Neill I think it is but cant verify...if it isnt is Beksinski inspired.
There's definitely Beksinski written all over it.
The art is Paolo girardi
Mariusz Lewandowski did the artwork
it is not But it is very similar
Nicely done, this is superb!
Fuck yes
Even more siked for the album now :D
Oh hell yes
Major Mournful Congregation vibe on this, definitely not a bad thing.
🤘🪞🤘
PUT THAT ALBUM COVER ON A SHIRT.
This reminds me a lot of Assunder
20bpm?
Does anyone know the times this part of the piece is? The start and end of it, in relation to the record? I ask because it's supposedly one massive song
no, but I imagine it is relatively early
Does anyone know the actual length of the 2 songs?? Id love to know how much material we're gettin??
83:43
Zach Ward i read it was just one song

Punching myself for not preordering.
A 9 minute excerpt is a teaser. Lol.

I can respect that opinion.
