Nice video! I thought you summarized the overall popularity of vail quite nicely. It's so difficult to be successful as a multiplayer vr game in the first place. And adding on the prohibitively high price of PCVR, I'm not surprised that the unreal engine 5 swap killed the game for like 4 months. That said I'm super excited for the future of this game since I've been following and playing it since 2021.
Multiplayer VR games last very little and all for one reason only and that is that they are paid, if the number of people who have VR are already few, now imagine the people who are willing to buy a VR game.
I don’t think any game will outsell beat saber anytime soon as the beatsaber audience is much broader but what I am saying is the game most definitely has enough potential to become the biggest VR esports game

People are gonna quit if they don’t update the game frequently as well as if it doesn’t live up to the expectations for each player and honestly suggested improvements wise I’m not sure yet as I haven’t been able to spend enough time in the game quite yet
People quit the game because it's boring. That rhetoric has come from players that literally won their first tourney lmao. The idea it's going to be the most popular VR fps is ridiculous. The majority of VR players are casual, and there is very limited content in Vail. And it doesn't offer much to competitive audiences either. They just dump money into tourneys to hope they stay, which has worked but only whenever there's a cash prize.
I bought VAIL for the sale price, but don't have a VR headset yet, do you happen to have any recommendations for a VR headset to buy? Please and thank you I'll sub :)
I haven’t personally tried many headsets in my time but I’ll do my best :) I’m assuming you bought it on the 69% off steam sale so you’d be playing pcvr and in that case you could buy a Quest 2 and either a good cable to play it plugged into your computer or there’s a thing called airlink which is wireless pcvr streaming to the quest 2 The quest 2 is probably the best value you’ll get if you wanna try playing good vr games on a budget as refurbished or pre-owned they are wicked cheap and even new they’re only like $250-$300 You could also go for a dedicated pcvr headset but this option tends to be more expensive and if your not quite sure you’ll enjoy VR it can be a bit risky buying a headset you won’t use you’ll probably have the most luck learning about these headsets on TH-cam by looking up something along the lines of “the best pcvr headset”

I'm going to save for a little while before getting on so I'll get something with some quality, but yeah I'll have to do some research with getting my money's worth. I'm not loaded so I still have to be smart about what I get lol. I subbed still of course great video!
