Why I Left Canada 🇨🇦

- @theafricanjumbee4057 I had a great life in Canada 🇨🇦 I had an amazing job working for the city of Toronto. I had access to everything I needed and much more. the last few years, about the last five years or so, I started suffering from anxiety and depression. the Canadian environment became more toxic each passing day. it was a struggle to get through the day. everything about Canadian life overwhelmed me. I believed that if I didn't leave, I would die. so, to save my life, I decided to get out as soon as I could.

White Canadian here.
I feel helpless and hopeless here too, and I grew up here. It's changed. There is no love here, no community, it feels like communist Russia, except multicultural. Toronto is a deep pit of sorrow.
@rothaarige3896 I remember when I got my citizenship, that day was a proud day. I became a Canadian. I love Canada, but Canada has changed. A lot of people are leaving Canada. Thank you for watching and commenting on the video
White Russian - Canadian here. Don’t compare shit Canada to communists Russia.
I decide on Tanzania because it has an history of being peaceful( having over 100 different Tribes) and an history of being stable politically, and its main language(Swahili) is an African language that is the most widely spoken languages of Africa. Knowing an African language is an important part of me reconnecting to Africa.
@coz2j69 for all of these reasons, you are correct. Tanzania is truly a beautiful country. I often tell my Tanzanian friends they don't know how beautiful this country is
@@theafricanjumbee4057you guys are fkn deluded if you believe Tanzania peaceful … As a Tanzanian born and bred this is not the place for African Americans or Carribeans stay in your own countries there’s no belonging here
It takes great insight, determination and courage to travel around .... 🎉🎉
Canada is a wonderful country, and I achieved a lot there. The last few years of living in Canada became difficult because of the toxic environment, in my opinion, that Canada became. Because of this, to save my life, I left Canada and moved to Africa.
Its worse in Europe. Imagine here we always hear that Canada is paradise. No matter what home is the best any country which is not your home is not your home. Tanzania is a very beautiful place.

Africa is the best place for a black man to retire. We all look the same. No prejudice
You are correct. But also, Africa countries should make it easier for us to retire here.
Looking similar is a part of it. A part of it is also that Black people, in general, are welcoming and peaceful. In general, Black people becoming more violent the more they are expose to West culture
@@theafricanjumbee4057 that's the sad part
@theafricanjumbee4057 I agree with you. I am an African who lived in the States and returned to Africa in a country where I am not originally from. I have dealt with immigration; they make it harder for black people than bazungu to settle. It is a fact; I know bazungu who get an easier time (for the same application process). When you have money, which surprises them, they believe you got it thru laudering, scams, etc. Mind you, even you bank in the States or Canada.
From my experience, Rwanda immigration is very transparent. Also, i used to sleep on RW. I visited again last month. It is changing. I saw more foreigners, which is good, most of them africans. Economy seems to flourish.
@@theafricanjumbee4057
Why should they?? Do you guys bring something to the continent or do you guys spend it all in canada and come down here just to buy a house and land and expect a red carpet treatment everytime you land??

@dr.ogwangjoshua1391 I understand you very well because I was going through the same. Please be strong. Don’t allow depression and anxiety to consume you. Yes, I know it is hard, but you have to fight with everything you have to save your life. Seek help if you need it. Please don't be afraid to talk to someone and get professional help.
Try and find a safe place that you can go to. A place that will bring you peace, focus, alignment, and grounding. Wherever this place is, find it. Don't be afraid to let go of what we think we need or the illusion that we are presented with and are told, This is how it should be.

@@wizardofkwoz6298 ahhh, yes. The beautiful Jill Scott. Thank you very much
"Living my life like it's golden" is from the great singer Jill Scott
I remember my first day on the job at Bank of Nova Scotia, a Chinese woman asked me where I was from, I told her I was from a country in Africa. She was shocked and said to me " but you're wearing clothes!" . Her response surprised me but going forward I experienced so much racism in the financial sector of downtown Toronto. No one wanted to be friends with me because I was an immigrant and in their eyes from a terrible place called Africa. I ran away to Japan where I thought they would be kinder to me, turns out they are even more racist than the white people in apartheid South Africa. Being out of Africa has totally destroyed my soul. I am literally Hanging On by a thread. Hoping to return back to the motherland and my home, my only home.
@@zimpetrichor4919 reading this has brought memories of how Suttle racism is in Canada. I am sorry that you had to go through this. Please be strong. You will return home soon
White man of European descent here. Canada is not the country the world used to know us as. Nowadays it truly is "every man for himself". It's really sad because I grew up thinking Canada was amazing, and to a certain degree it was, mainly due to people's politeness and openness, but as the years went by people kept getting more and more anti-social, and the pandemic made things worse. Nowadays I only have one friend to my name, all the other people I had known disappeared without any trace. I definitely want to leave this country, and since I have family in Poland, that is always an option, but really I just want to find a place with real people and real community. Canada's multiculturalism isn't what they tell you it is. Every nationality for themselves.
@chris_hawk I am just waking up in the mountains of tanzania. It was the most beautiful and peaceful place I've ever seen. I found my peace. I pray that you find your peace, wherever you find it, walk boldly into it. We have only this life, make every second of it counts.

Canada has changed!
When people started irrationally screaming for fascist oppression of their neighbours during the big P our society fell apart!
