The planes are a common site along speyside, The base is actually at Lossiemouth or Kinloss on the coast but the pilots follow the Spey Valley on training missions. We see allsorts, the Atlas C1 transporters like the one you saw, helicopters and the new Eurofighter Typhoons which make a right old racket. Really enjoyed the vid. Tim, I feel like we need to have lesson where you teach us how to pronounce the Scottish names that we don’t know by telling us what they rhyme with! It really works....I think so anyway, we’ll have to wait until the next video to see if we get any better! 🤣 It was just so surprising to see the plane so low. It sounds like you’ve got quite a selection of cool planes flying overhead. We may have to go over there more regularly for plane spotting (we’re big aviation nerds)! Ah that’s so cool! I can’t believe we’ve got somebody from the NE250 team commenting on our video! That has made our day! Love the website by the way!!! There’s so many things on there we want to go out and see and do! Julia that sounds lovely! I really hope you get to see some snow when you go to Cairngorms! I imagine it's going to look stunning covered in snow in December. We are both quite new to the area so we don't really know what to expect but if there is snow and a chance of skiing we would love to give it a go too! What an epic trip this must have been, soo cool and fun to see, especially the drone shots 😍. Btw, Heartwarming to see how Anna laughs at your pain Evan ( it is sooo recognizable 😄), but good to see that despite the pain, you were still able to “Gordon Ramsey” the sh** out of that kibble 😄. Regarding camping in the van, how was it ? What are your final thoughts about it? And was this trip also possible with a tent you think? Stay safe you guys. 🐾🐾🦆
Hahahhaha!!! 😂 It's a recognisable behaviour is it? I can only imagine! The places looked stunning and I can't believe we had the weather on our side for much of the trip so the scenery looked fantastic! I am not sure if campervan life is for me. I think I would have prefered something a bit bigger like a motorhome or maybe even a couple of nights at a B&B or something like that. It was a fun experience though and something we wanted to do for ages. As for the tent, I'm not really sure if it would be doable. There are a couple of campsites around that you could setup your tent and then do day trips out to different parts because they are all quite close together.
@@PitchAndPaws have yous drove the NC500 or Hebridean Way yet? (I've not fully checked your profile) well worth doing it. On the bike it's a great way to cover a lot of distance while appreciating the surroundings. 🌄🏞️
The clutch just wasn't working properly. It didn't feel right and we didn't want to push it. Seemed to work find the following day so we managed to drive back thankfully! 😀👍🏼
We still enjoy it and the complaining is just human nature, for example you watched our videos and you complained about us complaining. It’s easy to do. 😁

We can happily report that there was no real midge problem thankfully. Just a few at the start of the trip but thankfully we managed to escape!
