Dear DR....I just want to share something after watching your solar video..when I was in 8 th class, my father applied for a loan to buy a solar lamp because I belong to the Tribal area and a power cut is common. My father is a security personnel in APSRTC and the cost of solar lamp at that time is equal to his two months salary. He bought it for me and we i.e myself and sister used it for 4 years. Thank u brother for making such good videos. Even though kids are also waiting for your uploads. Thanks a lot.
My family bought a solar lamp too, it was manufactured by BHEL. The lamp doesn't work now but the panel still works, me and my brother used it for powering radio, LED lights, etc.
I live in Kolkata, here the terms & condition of installing on-grid solar system is so complex that a simple family can't literally have them on their rooftop. Businessman-polititians all are playing parts to their own benefit.

I' ve got an 'on grid ' solar panels system on my roof top, our monthly electric bill is usually 0 , but it gets like 100 rupees/ month when the consumption is high , it's totally worth your investment ! wont be wrong to say that by being environment friendly you are actually receiving dual benefits of saving nature and money
What's the cost of project , interest per month on that cost and your old monthly bill when you did not have solar system.. Or else you can tabulate cost of buying vs cost of production of solar power

Dhruv sir i have a doubt as u said in the video solar energy only require light to function and intense sunlight is not necessary. So then why do solar robotics require intense sunlight only? Because it doesn not function at all unless brought to intense sunlight. And does a solar panel depend on heat or light? Sorry if it is a dumb question
As I explained at 1:22, there are two types of solar plants. Photovoltaics only use LIGHT to produce electricity. The other type - concentrated solar plant uses HEAT to produce electricity So yes if you have a photovoltaic panel, you can even generate electricity from artificial lights

Thank you! This is a well curated video. Something i missed hearing about two drawback i had heard about in a ted talk. The impact on ecology and environment in two ways -1. The thermal currents created over the panels are unnatural due to the reflected heat 2. The floor of fields of panels after being disturbed ecologically durinv installation are also now a shadow zone which impacts the ecosystem.
