Replacing 18650 batteries in a Dyson Vacuum

Replacing the 18650 Li-Ion batteries in a Dyson Vacuum is quite challenging. You should have some experience with electronics before even thinking about it. Yo also need a spot welder and some Nickel strips. Work carefully and avoid shortages!

You leave the thermistor connected to the board , your only replacing the cells , unless obviously the thermistor has failed also

Great video mate, can I replace the battery with a 12800mah replacement battery? The volts are the same as old battery it’s just a bigger mah,,current battery is 1300mah 22.2v, replacement I’ve been looking at is 12800mah and 8800mah both 22.2v,

Can you not just add the new cells in parallel ??
I am planning to just add the extra cells to the existing cells in parallel. Can't find a video, is it possible ??

Why not reuse the battery holder?
