Mam can we have a class on calculation on hypernatremia, both moderate and severe
In the calculation example of the child with 10 kg we got 90mEq isn't that more than 12 meq ??
and should i correct this over 7 days? or how?
Why to use both fluid iso - p not only one DS N/ S

3percnt ns 4-6 ml per kg in how much time should be given??
Some say over 1/2 an hr, some say rapid as a bolus…..precautionarily prefer former….
