  • It's been 6 years since I travelled to Madagascar with friend and chocolatier Jamie Kemp. A lot has changed in that time for both of us, but one thing I always wanted to do was make a documentary out of all the footage. I tried hard for the first few years but could never figure it out, so wrote it off as just a lot of excess footage. Turns out, all I needed was time!
As of yesterday, I have picture locked a 30 minute documentary about the origins of chocolate, taking us on a boat trip up the Rianila river and learning how a fruit pulp is transformed into chocolate.
It was a trip with so many challenges, including losing my tie mics through a hole that appeared in my bag on the plane (yep, day 1), and coming back into the centre of town during a bubonic plaque outbreak, but it was a trip of a life time. I can't wait to share it in the coming weeks!
    Coming soon (ish!)
