Breaking Benjamin always makes me feel some type of way whether it's happy or emotional. That's why they're arguably my favorite band of all time.
The song is about Jane, the event happened in reality, the girl fell asleep in a bathtub full of water and died. In the video she wakes up at the beginning of the music and is looking for a mirror, by the end when she found a mirror, she did not see her reflection, in many peoples, and their legends, ghosts do not see their reflection. The group dedicated this song to this girl, it is unknown if they knew her.

Im 35 and this song came out when I was 19 and I have this song on my playlist along with alot of other Breaking Benjamin. I honestly do not know how you can’t like this song. Maybe if you’re die hard country or hip hop but this song hits hard and has great vocals and meaning to it

The grave says 'Jane Bryan' she was an actress who started in the 1939 movie "We Are Not Alone" which is the same title as Breaking Benjamins 2004 album, "We Are Not Alone"
Absolutely love Breaking Benjamin, they are so freaking awesome, there's so much passion and emotion behind the music and lyrics that you can feel all of it, very rare in a band
I'd totally recommend a reaction to "Dear Agony" either the acoustic version or studio version, and "I Will Not Bow"
Saw them live and they sounded amazing, like better than albums. They were so good
Seen them with seether and 3 days grace like 15 years ago best night of my life, my wife and I were dating then and I introduced her to mosh pits lol I gave her credit for stepping out of her "comfort zone" seeing as how Aerosmith was probably the only "rock" concert she'd ever been to. Memories.

So his girlfriend committed suicide when he was younger, and when he found her diary he read it, and in it she talked about different men and cheating on him. So in an old interview he said something along the lines of "to me she was everything, to her I was nothing more then a few sentences in her diary" . And a few years later he created this song, to help him find closure for not being able to stop her from committing suicide.

Wow, didn’t know that. Ben really had so many bad things going on in his life. He’s doing great now. He has a family and he loves his new band members. Not sure if he’s overcome his fear of flying yet.
Ah wrong the song was born from the singer watching a bunch of Forensic Files series episodes and there was a Episode about a Jane Doe that washed up on shore and was buried with no story.

Breaking Benjamin is one of my all-time guilty pleasures. Should definitely check out more of their discography. Another one for me is the band Chevelle. Should give them a listen, their songs ‘The Red’, ‘Well Enough Alone’, and ‘The Clincher’ are my top faves.
If you add Send the pain below, Vitamin R (leading us along), comfortable liar, and hats off to the bull to that list you've got yourself a half hour of Chevelle bangers that never get old.
I don't think you should feel guilty for liking BB. Chevelle is awesome too.

So much nostalgia for me with this one. They used to play this when I was in high school late night on the local rock radio station, but never before 10pm, and only on fridays.
I bet you would love “The Bleeding” by Five Finger Death Punch. Its exactly how you said you like (and I agree). The harsh vocals placed only on the key words or phrases. The rest is more actual singing. Its an early song hardly anyone, if anyone has reacted to. Many probably don’t even know it.Its also a relationship song. Keep on killin the reactions ! 👍

I know it's a bit of a shallow compliment, but you have a really nice face to watch. Reactions like this are admittedly a self-affirming kind of fun, but it's always interesting to see somebody else's experience of a familiar song. It's interesting that you intuitively whisper in lieu of growling, because it's almost the same thing just at a lower dynamic and without shaping your mouth to create resonance. If you whisper loudly, you're basically screaming; nobody's death growl is as loud as their ordinary yell.
Saturate is imo the most amazing BB album, polyamorous, skin, water, home, shallow bay, phase, next to nothing, sugarcoat, and Medicate are all so good in that old school unpolished BB kind of way.
Aah this song reminds me of Step Up 2 : The Streets. That's where i first heard it and was instantly hooked to it. It truly is a pleasant trip down memory lane

This song isn't about love, Once Benjamin watching a TV Show called "Unsolved mysteries" He sees a dead woman with an undefined İD , There was nothing abour her , who was she? What she died for? how she lived? etc.. So benjamin wanted to give her a story and wrote this song for her . For undefined dead womans they use the name "Jane" (For men it is John ).
