I’ve been sued by a female employee before and this was how it was. NO MATTER what the facts, even video showing nothing, the victim thing just kept coming, no matter what. And it was always from victim to cocky smirk. They view the world in terms of villans and suckers and they just pound on everyone around them innocent or not.
Let’s not forget this woman has a baby girl at home and she’s smiling/smirking during a situation in which her ex husband is talking about her aggression, violence, and overall how crazy she is. She made him feel miserable for years and clearly nothing has changed in regards to her condescending demeanor towards him. She’s not scared of him, she’s not a victim of anything and everything she does is with malicious intent. She’s a horrible person.

The fact that he can speak with compassion and empathy towards Whitney, even after she testified against him speaks volumes of his character. Only panic attack I ever had was meeting the man who choked me in the back hall of the courthouse accidentally, while we were both arriving for our court date. He was in custody but I went into full flight, sprinted away around several corners and hyperventilated for a few minutes behind a bench. Court staff definitely noticed. It's not something you can fake. You can also try not to react but if someone has looked you in the eyes while choking you completely out...you can't just react normally.

If someone was on the stand making up stories about me being abusive I would be feeling incredibly sick, the last thing I could do is smile. Only panic attack I ever had was meeting the man who choked me in the back hall of the courthouse accidentally, while we were both arriving for our court date. He was in custody but I went into full flight, sprinted away around several corners and hyperventilated for a few minutes behind a bench. Court staff definitely noticed. It's not something you can fake.
You can also try not to react but if someone has looked you in the eyes while choking you completely out...you can't just react normally.

I was surprised to read how the law works in this instance (in the US) as I think I understand JD needs to prove not only did AH write that piece about him, she did so also knowing that it was not true (malicious intent). Granted, taken in isolation, Depp has reacted aggressively on numerous occasions, but, in the proper context, when the relationship is viewed in its entirety, he also received immense disrespect, provocation, browbeating, psychological torture, and invasion of privacy. It feels like those who are supporting women just because they are women are engaging in tone-deaf identity politics and losing all sense of nuance. (If you're not for women, you're against them.) I guess this is why we can't trust our emotional responses wholesale. If we instead look at the evidence, it's absolutely stacked in Johnny Depp's favour.

I truly think that in her mind she doesn't believe that. Her uninhibited smirks and facial expressions are automatic...smh. If she can't even fake or hide her obvious cruelty toward JD WITH the cameras on her, we can assume that's her natural state and who she truly is. I feel so bad for JD, and can't imagine how much worse her cruelty must've been in private if she can't even hide it in public.

I just wanted to write that. His smiling reactions, weather ironic or comic, were genuine, but she is just bad copycat. It's good she does that, because she is showing her real character. Ptsd my ass. I have ptsd, but from the war, and this is not how I would feel remembering shut that was haplening around me. She is disgrace for humanity.
@@jelenakalashnikova I have friends who have PTSD from the war too. I’ve been diagnosed with trauma myself, but PTSD is something else. It steels your life and cripples you. You could only take PTSD so lightly if you’ve never seen it before.The horror you see in real victims is authentic and doesn’t need the extra theatrical drama we saw in this court.

We have heard the truth, 1: Johnny didn't abuse anyone.
2: Amber can't act and got the role because of Johnny.
3: Amber is a narcistic liar that destroyed Depps's career.
I am positive on the first two points, I am not so sure about the third point.
Crazy how during Dr. Curry's testimony about her faking Amber wont even look at her but when Johnny takes the stand she's eyeing him down like a hawk the entire time with that psycho glare.... So abundantly clear she feels threatened by Curry but feels far superior to Johnny and looks down on him just by her subtle body language cues...
I really can't see an actual abuse victim starting at their abuser with such malice and spite. She's not afraid of him at all. If anything she's trying to intimidate and belittle him. Make him feel pathetic. Abuse victims would not consciously aim to provoke further hostility and certainty would not feel the entitlement to glare continuously. Even without words she's trying to show him that she is dominant...

If JD was really the person AH says he is, why would all the women in his past and coworkers have soo much respect for him?.. A true abuser shows their colors to everyone at some point cause they can't control their anger.. I just hope the jury doesn't fall for her BS and he gets the justice he deserves..
