Mary I have a 6 week old baby and I’m breastfeeding her only but I can’t get her to sleep in her bassinet. She wakes up as soon as I lay her and ideas on how I can get her to sleep there. She just wants to sleep next to me or on me.
@@lizrodriguez466 That’s a really hard and tiring time. It will get better but I have a couple of suggestions. Have you used a sleep sack, that can help. Babies get to a point that they don’t like a tight swaddle. I’ll put I link for you to look at. When you lay baby down, it can help to put 1 hand firmly under baby’s bum and the other on her tummy/chest area. This helps with that startle reflex as baby is settling in a falling asleep. I hope that helps a little but this can be hard 😴 amzn.to/4gUsgzy
I was feeding two babies...one I know the mom and one child is unknown and I don't see the mom. The one I know is the mom, the mom took the baby away when she noticed I was feeding. The other baby the face is not visible but in my head I was feeding.
They are babies not foie gras, stuffing them when they don’t need a feed is just bloody cruel, their little tummies are so tiny. Feeding should be baby led not mummy led
I totally agree that feeding should be baby led. The beauty of feeding from the breast is that baby needs to be actively sucking to encourage a letdown. ❤️
