What a wonderful birthday present for me, albeit a day late. My second favourite E. Street show after Cardiff with Eric Burdon
I was at this show - truly one of the absolute best set lists I've ever seen (despite an overabundance of songs from 'Wrecking ball' which, while fine...isn't one of his best). Just showed up on my FB memories. For those curious, here's the setlist overall:

I was there too! The rain delay and Bruce played a full concert. It ended well past curfew for the stadium but as someone pointed out, “they ain’t fining Bruce in Jersey.” We caught the last train back to nyc.

I saw all three of this shows. Hearing this song the second night was a shocker but when they began playing it the last night, I couldn't believe it.
I went to the first two having travelled from England. Was this the one that was delayed for several hours due to hurricane warning?

Springsteen has always been awesome, but so much of his live music with friends after around 2010 is magic. And Gary's voice works so well with Bruce's music...

this isn't a "cover" ...Springsteen wrote that whole album back in '81 for Gary U.S. Bonds . It was called "Dedication" & it's awesome :)

Jolie Blonde is an old, old cajun ' song from the bayous - originally sung in a French/patois dialect ....,Gary spruced it up for with a distinct beat and Bruce spun it up with his fun groove....but neither Bruce nor Gary wrote it!
the whole album? Including the ones written by Dylan, Jackson Browne and Lennon & McCartney? 3 out of 10. And this wasnt one of them.
This is one of my favorite albums of all time! Wish it was still in print.
