Pets are family. No matter what and when you lose one it’s the most horrible feeling.
This is heartbreaking, I’m so very sorry. The bond we share with animals is unlike any other, no matter how long or short the amount of time we get to spend with them. You love them, and they love you. They don’t care what you look like, or what your past is like, or that sometimes you get sad. They love you, and they never judge you, they are your best friends. It really pains my heart to know the pain you both are going through, as well as your other animals. Rip Mario ❤️

when i came out as gay i was kicked out. a few days later my elderly dog wasn’t doing well and my parents ended up taking him to the emergency vet. they ended up texting me and telling me to come to the vet to say goodbye. in the weirdest way he brought me back together with my family and allowed us to be close again after i came out. i can’t thank him enough for everything he’s done for me

I’m so sorry. I’m glad you and your family are close again now. I’m a mother of 4 and my kids are 13,12,10,6 and one thing me and my husband have always told our children is that if they ever think they’re gay that they should never fear telling us, that we would love and accept them no matter what. I’m glad your parents are coming around now.❤️

When ryland mentioned how he begged for forgiveness from Mario when they last saw him, because he felt like he had broken the kitten's trust broke my heart entirely. We rescued a kitten when my fiancé and I moved in together. After a year, he almost died due to some health issues. The process of getting him stable was difficult, sad, heart breaking, and depressing. I'm constantly worried about coming home to find him dead whenever I leave the house. I am so sorry for such a terrible loss. Shane's thoughts on Mario being his guardian angel is so beautiful. You are both so loved ❤️

I feel so connected to my dog we found him at a rescue shelter 8 years ago. We rescued him but I feel he rescued us back. The connection with my dog amazes me he knows when I'm stressed and upset, sick etc. A year and a half ago I was in the hospital for two days and my dog got sick throwing up, not eating and diarrhea. Hours after I came home my dog was no longer ill. My precious boy was stressed from me being gone. My dog and I are connected at the hip.
I saw a video of someone connecting with the afterlife through a spiritbox and they asked about our pets. The spirit said: they're here. That comforted me so much and I really do believe in all of that.
Seeing Shane who I watched for a decade now crying like that literally breaks my heart 💔

This video hit my heart in a way I’ve never known. I get emotional anytime I think about loss, especially a pet because they touch your lives in ways no one else can. I have always wondered it pets are a piece of your soul returning to you. Returning because you’re calling out to it silently, knowing you need to be whole for this part of your journey in order to keep going. I’m so sorry for your loss and I hope the next piece of your soul returns and helps you heal from this heartbreak. ❤️

I had a dream the night my grandmother passed away, she came to my window, waved and smiled beautifully, and left. I woke up feeling as though I was floating/an outer body experience. Around 30 seconds later my mum came into my room and told me that she had passed. Six years on I still get very emotional when she is mentioned, but thinking of her happy smile and radiant glow in my dream gives me great peace. Angels do exist in the form you may least expect them to, much love ❤️
Animals are angels.
They can bring happiness, emotions, empathy, even give you a reason to keep living.

Losing a pet is one of the most heartbreaking things, the pain is unreal and I’m so sorry that happened to you guys. It’s not only a pet it’s like a child, we feed them we take care of them and we love them with all our heart

I'm a vet student and I was an intern in an animal clinic. Everytime we lost a patient, I needed a good cry inside the restroom because we can't show that to our clients.
I can't imagine what that must be like.
I cant imagine how painful it has to be to keep loseing animals and then needeing to tell the owners
When our dog Trooper passed because of cancer, the vet, and asst, both were in tears and hugged me real hard telling me how sorry they were, made me feel not so alone in that moment, that Trooper meant something to more then just myself...your words just reminded me how lucky I am to have a such great caring clinic in all ways.

Shane’s theory is 100% correct. Mario was brought to you to help him feel motivated to complete his project about the ghost and the other side. This will help him come back to the internet and to do what he’s supposed to do in this life. Shane is meant to do great things for many people. 🙏🏼❤️

I had already watched this episode and cried so much but rewatching now, having recently experienced the greatest pain of all that is grief...you guys have NO idea how much this is helping me and I'm sure many other people as well. I lost my dad about a month ago and I just can't make peace with the way he died and the fact that I might actually never see him again and that the last time I saw him I didn't even know that it would be the last. We have to believe that all these beings are somewhere else now, watching over us or at least that they're somewhere peaceful and full of the joy they deserve to feel, waiting for us to join them when it is our time.
As someone who worked in an animal shelter for four years- the loving home you gave him for this short time meant so much to him. He could have wound up anywhere as a kitten of the streets. He could have ended up in a cage. He’ll remember your love and his home. He’ll be the first to greet you when you get to wherever we go. I don’t think you needed to ask for forgiveness, because I guarantee as you were saying goodbye he was just happy to see you. Much love. Thinking about you guys.

On April 19th 2018 I woke up at 2 a.m out of a dead sleep. I darted up in bed. My boyfriend jumped up and asked me what was wrong. I said, “I have NO idea”, laid down, and went back to sleep. Two hours later, I got a call that my dad was in the ICU. I sat with him for four days, then I had to take him off life support. Craziest experience of my entire life. I am so sorry for you both.

I can’t tell you how much I needed this video today. My dog Biscuit who just turned 1, dug a hole under my fence and was ran over and died today. He was my sweet baby boy and had such a gentle soul. I hope we get to see eachother again. My heart is broken.

When Shane started talking about our souls I really felt that and made me feel better about people and pets I lost too. It honestly made me cry.
I really connected with the soul family part because I never got the chance to meet my older brother. But I can feel him around me all the time, even though he isn't here anymore. I can also feel the love, peace and happiness that my pets have given me even though that I didn't get to spend so much time with them.
I’m a highly sensitive person and everything Shane spoke about is incredibly real and beautiful. Sending powerful bright white light. 🤍

I am a dog groomer-and all of us groomers have hundreds of connections with dogs and amazing relationships with them. But when you meet that special dog, that for whatever reason you connect with on a different level its crazy. I remmeber one puppy that came in for a haircut a few months after I lost a friend when I thought I was through the worst of my grief but that morning I woke up feeling so hopeless. And this puppy felt my soul and comforted me in such a profound way. I never saw him again.... Ive met so many animals in my lifetime and still I remember the couple that connected with my soul like that. Mario was so special and I love and feel for you guys!

Crying watching this as I nurse my son. I had to put my dog of 14 years down back in February, a week later I found out I was pregnant and it tore my soul apart that she wouldn't get to meet my baby. I felt like nobody understood how much my dog meant to me, she was more than my best friend she knew me in ways that nobody else did. I told that dog everything. You all have no idea how much this talk has helped hundreds of people that are dealing with grief. My son lost his dad 2 years ago and I know it's still very hard for him, it is for me as well. Not only did Mario come into your lives for a specific reason at the time he did, but you and Shane came into his life for a specific reason too! You showed him love and trust. He gave you both love and trust and hope. Please don’t let his passing be in vain. Allow the light to continue in your lives! You both deserve that light. I’m so very sorry.

I just lost my dog Bella of 11 years in October. It always made me sad thinking if she was scared out there, but after Shane explained that she's with my soul that made me happy - I know she's always been my guardian angel ❤️

This was beautiful. I have been such a fan of Ryland and Shane and live for Rylands vlogs. Then I discovered the podcast a few weeks ago and have watched every single video. You guys are so real, so unique, and such a comfort. This video the tears streaming from my face and being able to feel your emotions and vulnerability was eye opening. It is such a blessing to be able to translate and experience emotions for and with someone you have never even met. I have always believed animals truly bridged the gap between our physical world and the spirit world and beyond. Every animal my family has I personally picked out and had just this gut feeling that this animal is my family. They are truly a gift and to think that you guys even got to experience Mario and that he fulfilled his purpose for entering your lives there is nothing more special and comforting. I just truly was so touched and it made me feel so warm and not alone in this world I just had to do my first youtube comment. I love you all like I know you and thank you for continuing to work hard and put out content so we can all have an escape and something to look forward to. Also, Lizze just getting to know you from this show and love and respect you so much you are so wise and mature and yet so personable and reachable.
