Each night starting December 1st have a child pick a book to unwrap and read before bed. They get the fun of a countdown till Christmas each night plus they get to unwrap something along the way to tide them over until Christmas morning. The same books can be used each year and bringing them out the next year will bring a sense of nostalgia from the year before.
