Keep doing what you're doing. These videos always inspire adventure. 🤠
WL is a great platform, but you need serious tires and driver experience with unibody off-roading to get the most out of it. Hopefully your friend sticks with it and can grow with the vehicle.
You're flat flat 😂❤
nice to see that you are still off roading.
Breath taking views, great friends and amazing memories. Can’t wait to go back.
Next year for sure!
I had a blast doing Hell's Revenge with my WL 4Xe TH. I was too chicken to do Hell's Gate but I was impressed with the vehicle. These Jeeps are too heavy to air down tires. 😅
They needed bead lock rims stock rims are not ment for air pressures that low
Great video! Looks like the WL had a harder time than the WK2 , but honestly looked like more pilot issues than jeep. Did he have the air suspension set to OR1 or 2? Stock tires? I’m guessing if you were driving it would be a bit smoother. Either way , great trip . Both machines did well.
Yes. All of it. I think the extra weight of the WL combined with the stock tires made it harder for him to do a few things as he definitely struggled for grip all day. He's fairly new to full on offroading and his reduced approach angle didn't do him any favors combined with his heavy foot. We did Elephant Hill the following day...and someone had to make a call...
Love the KL, and as a prpud KL wheeler myself, it hurts to say this, but after watching both videos, I think the WK2 handled Hells Gate a lot more confidently than the KL did.
@@zachariewright1690 i kinda feel the same 🤫
Looked like your trail partner was pushing it a little to hard for Hells Revenge.
He just needs to learn how to drive the WL, and slightly better tires. I didn't realize the tires had been burping air all day until i was standing there watching it happen going into the gate. He's looking into tires now, and after an incident on Elephant Hill the following day, he's learned a bit better on how not to drive.
@@FearlessTrailhawk great run today at Hidden Falls here in TX! And thanks for the tip with my WL GCTH to turn off the battery regeneration. The WL does well but is very touchy and jerks a lot with the regen on. When I turned it off it was MUCH smoother!
Turn off that music
@@jamesclark4 Some people like it some people don't. So some of my videos have music, some don't. 🤷 Can't please everyone so i just shoot for a middle ground. Sorry.
