Binaural vs Stereo vs Mono

In this video I decomposed an ambisonic file, which was recorded in the summer of 2018 in a forest near my home-town, so you can hear the difference between mono, stereo and binaural.

I suspected that Binaural sounded better when just played from speakers, but we played this on speakers and noticed that Binaural really does sound a lot better!

sure, but definitely could be better. In fact a good stereo recording with a nice pair of mics can sometimes beats binaural, but... it's all about what your project needs.
