Key West - Key Largo Day Trip Day 3 (Part 3 of 5)

Day 3 of our Keys leg of the trip!
We are taking an RV cross country road trip adventure for the first time and the Florida Keys was our main destination when planning this trip.
Today we took a day trip from Key West to Key Largo. We stopped at some Florida Key roadside attractions, snorkeled at the John Pennekamp State Park, and taste tested more key lime pies.
The snorkeling in Key Largo was pretty good, we were really disappointed the John Pennekamp State Park Tour didn't take us to the Christ of the Abyss statue.When we checked in the person told us we had excellent conditions and then as soon as we got on the boat and people started asking about the statue they began their excuses of why they weren't going to take us there, it was going to be too crowded because it was a weekend...the tour time was too late...the water was too rough over there, and when one lady asked what if we book again tomorrow he said they probably wouldn't go tomorrow either, so what about the next day??? Probably not the next day either, so basically they don't like going there and they just use it to get you to book through them. The reef they took us to had a lot of fish, but I honestly got bored after a while. If I were to snorkel in Key Largo again I would probably book through a different company.
I did try quite a few Key Lime Pies today, Key Largo Chocolates, Mrs. Macs, not Morada Bay because they were closed and rude besides, and The Green Turtle Inn. So far the total Key Lime Pie Taste Test Score is:
1st - Kermits
2nd - Mrs Mac's
3rd - Blue Heaven
Honorable Mention goes to Key Largo Chocolate Key Lime Fizz one of the best things we had in the Florida Keys.

12:45 pm Returned to shore

1:50 pm Mrs. Mac's (Key Lime Pie)
2:20 pm Rain Barrel Village
3:20 pm Morada Bay (Closed and rude)
3:30 pm Green Turtle Inn
5:00 pm Bluewater Key RV Resort (quick break)
7:50 pm Dinner Onlywood Pizza (Very good food and service)
9:00 pm Back to RV
We had a great day even if it didn't go exactly as planned. We were able to snorkel, see some historical stuff and eat sweets so for me it doesn't get much better than that!

Nice video!
However, I would suggest that you kill the music, in order to better appreciate your instructive, running dialogue--as well as the scenery.

Thank you and I agree, I was just learning how to edit and the sound differences after downloading to TH-cam, I think I’m getting better at it now. :)
