Those graphs demonstrate exactly what Milei predicted (and was transparent about) if his policies were enacted. Argentina's situation was so dire, that there was no other way to right the ship without short-term pain.

A 400 lb person will have to endure pain to become healthy again. It's no different here.

I'm not sure what they expected. You can't fix something that's been broken for decades in just one year. It takes time to attract foreign investment, which is what ultimately will lift up Argentine economy

The problem is that he is a suck up to the western investors when China is his number one trade partner. Instead of seeking any foreign investment including non western, he wants Wall Street

Did that "expert" really think that they were gonna soft-land Argentina's economy? She's talking like this was all so unexpected.

Reining in 400% annual inflation isnt cured overnight. Pretty weak credentials for an expert and weak analysis btw.

Cant take a country from a ditch to the clouds in a year. The thing is he inherited a bad situation, he didnt cause this.

Seems like a propaganda piece to denounce small government.

Out of 15 recessions, we had 11 of them under Republican president. 2 worst crashes were under Hoover and Bush Junior

they have energy to protest government not handing them jobs but they don't have energy to start a business and provide value to the economy

This "report" is amateurly produced and laughingly contradictory. No one who self identifies as an "expert" should be taken seriously (and she proves why almost immediately). One student campus protest does not make a nation wide rebellion. Come on SAN you can do better than this, at least, I hope you can.
