the difference in performance between ap and aphe remains one of the most baffling things in this game. its actually insane. I don't know if aphe would make this a good vehicle, but at least it wouldn't be as frustrating.
The worst part about this tank is not the spall, is the inacuracy of the gun. From the second shot foward the shells start going random and everytime i play it feels terrible
Tbh I'm intrigued by how this thing would have played if it had gotten historical 3.7 incher VT fuzed round. Wouldn't change much except few cases when enemy has to line up to attack you. Would also annoy PE-8...

Kinda wish WT had functional Flak ammunition. Variable Timer ammo kinda does the job, but you HAVE to range-find for it to detonate at the range you want it to, which is too slow to do anything w/... idk why it doesn't just let you set the timer w/ the sight-distance thing.

A lot of those shots you failed to kill was due to hitting crew directly. Shoot more entre mass so the shrapnel can form the cone fully and that will one shot more reliably

Hi Spookstoon, how about trying up the Jpz 4-5, it's a little bit of an odd tanks in the 6.x range of germany but the mobility and the gun makes up for it.
JFC Spookston can zoom in directly on an enemy, draw a thousand red circles around it, and I still have to pause and spend like 60 seconds looking for the damn thing.
You can feel spooks fear through the screen when the slightest chance a plane might be near. Reminds me of how sharks will absolutely f*ck off if there might be an orca in a 100 mile radius
this tank is one of the few gaijin market vehicles that I dont regret buying, its very fun if you dont get uptiered and theres quite a few supporting vehicles for it you can put in your lineup
You want to balance artillery better and reduce CAS? Make the artillery a physical presence on the large scale map that planes get. You destroy the gun emplacements, it lengthens the cooldown or locks out the other team’s ability to call in strikes for a bit. That also gives players an incentive to play air defense as well, because not having artillery strikes can hamper your ability to suppress an area.
Holy shit, someone who actually made a good idea for the mode rather than just saying skill issue or something. (J) In all honesty though it's not a bad idea, but you know basically all the Cas players would bomb players on the ground anyways
@@aiedenoldstien9751 You’d obviously need to tweak the rewards to make playing the objective more lucrative than getting kills. It would end up being a question of what helps the team win. Do I take out a player tank (and kill myself in the process like most CAS players) or do I take out other objectives that weaken the enemy. You could even add radar stations to the map to give AA and aircraft basic guidance information on enemy planes. Killing those would remove that data.
@LugborG To be honest that's actually one of the biggest problems with Cas as it is right now. The rewards. You get less from killing a plane in ground. Along with the most planes. You literally get rewarded less for something that is harder to kill.

Gaijin should implement a kinetic energy damage for solid shot type and APDS type rounds since those rounds depended on the pressure generated from that usually is too much for the crew inside especially if the tank/AFV is closed and why the rounds on the Soviet tanks always cook-off. Correct me if there is something wrong on my statement.
