They say never work with children or animals but yours are super cute & extremely giggly!!! Thank you for filming with our friends too! Love seeing you all 💜 I would make a pair of fingerless mitts with the Ripples yarn - so my colours!!!
Hi Laura! Always great catching up with you😊You picked some gorgeous yarn..I’m almost drooling here😁What a beautiful giveaway😍I’d knit socks with that beautiful color! Until next time, take care🥰 P.S. Ellie & Alfie are so sweet♥️
A lovely video Laura. It was so much fun to visit the Woolly Good Gathering with you (I would have eaten lots of doughnuts too - they looked amazing!) and I loved the chaos of your beautiful little ones at the end there. I have a 7 year old boy so also live with that chaos every day 😂 With that gorgeous yarn, I would make either a shawl, or some fingerless mitts and perhaps a hat to go with it by adding a contrast colour to ensure I had enough yarn. Thank you for the opportunity to win it and the beautiful notions pouch too 🙂
Your children are growing so fast! What fun they are! My grandchildren are the same ages and I knit them both a Musselburgh hat. As I still need to knit myself one I would use the yarn to do so. Thanks for a informative podcast. The yarn show looked great. Well done on the driving! Jane San Diego
Great to see you and look forward to your podcast. What a fab trip and fab haul. If I were lucky I think I’d knit a musselburgh with that yarn. And your children are growing so fast! Xx
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I enjoy seeing what is available at different yarn events. Your video started my day so nicely! I watched as I had my morning coffee and your children's laughs and giggles just brought such happiness into a dull and rainy day in northern Minnesota! You and your adorable children and yarn are my sunshine today! Thank you!
Thank you for taking us along to the yarn show, it all looked amazing. If I was lucky enough to win that gorgeous yarn I'd knit a Hitchhiker shawl. xxx
Great podcast Laura, enjoyed your trip at the Woolly Good Gathering. Cannot believe how the Children have grown. Beautiful prize giveaway, I would knit some socks. 🧶
Thanks for sharing your visit to the Woolly Good Gathering! I really enjoyed it as well as seeing what you bought. The yarn looks beautiful! I would knit a shawl with it.
Wow - an epic drive Laura, thank you for sharing your wonderful trip with us. I haven't managed to attend a yarn festival yet but it is on my bucket list to do so! I think I would use such a pretty skein for a hat so that everyone could see it!
Thanks for the vlog - I was at Woolly Good and it was a fantastic show. They'd made a huge effort to be sustainable and inclusive. If I'm lucky enough to win the prize (very generous btw!) I'd make a cowl I think, not sure which particular pattern but it shouldn't be a problem finding something suitable!😊
That was a long drive! But the show looked brilliant and I love that they were also trying to lift and build community. Such beautiful yarn too, I'd probably end up making something for my nan if I won (she's extremely knitworthy), maybe another beret x
I love watching wee yarn shows and festivals, we don't have them here in Northern Ireland, The children are getting so big, I' a long term veiwer. I think that I'd use the yarn to make the Sand Bubbles Shawlette. Great to see you back and hopefully won't have to wait so long for next one x
Hi Laura, my goodness you did have a long trip to Edinburgh. Thank you for showing so much footage of your trip, really lovely to see. I was there too on the Friday, I had a fabulous time and bought some beautiful yarn. I l live just outside of Edinburgh so didnt have far to go. I spotted Helen at the show and think I saw you too. 😅Your children are adorable, lived the faces your daughter made, made me smile. I love all your goodies too, especially your Toadstool bag. If I am lucky enough to win the yarn I would either make a shawl, eg. The Changing Staircases or the hat Xx
Love this video, great to see you again and so great to see the yarn show! I'm a bit obsessed with hot water bottle covers at the moment (must be the fact it's still freezing even though it's May!) so I think I would hold it double and make a lovely hot water bottle cover
Lovely to see you had such a wonderful time too! Was such a fabulous event, fingers crossed for its return!🤞 I think that skein would make a gorgeous Musselburgh hat to really show off all those tones🤩 Can’t wait to see what you do with the other ones!
It was lovely to see you In Edinburgh hopefully you’ll make Galashiels too! That yarn is too pretty to hide away so I think it would need to make it into shawl. Looking forward to your next episode.
I managed to get to Galashiels! I had a very speedy 1 hour stop on what ended up being a 12 hour drive home for our little family holiday 🙈 but it was worth it!!
That was fun Beautiful yarn, hopefully I'll get around to actually attending a show soon I'd make a wrap or maybe a Sophie's scarf with it, but I would have to give it a squish first as it might inspire me to make something else
It was fun to see you again! It looks like you had a good weekend away! Good luck with your new studio! Such a beautiful haul from the show! I would make a shawl with the yarn!
Glad to hear you had such a wonderful time! I think I might do a cowl or shawlette with that single. It would be interesting, I’ve never worked with singles.
Hi Laura, fab podcast as always, if I was lucky enough to win your fantastic giveaway there would be so many choices of makes so it could be a shawl or finger less mitts, but first a good squish 😊
Thanks for video. Great to see the show as I could not get to it - I was at Wonderwool Wales for weekend. 🤷🏻. I would love to win the yarn - perfect for a shawl to gift to a friend. Xx
Wonderwool is on my list to visit!! I feel like I’ve managed to get to most UK shows as either a visitor or vendor and I hear such amazing things about Wonderwool! I’m working out if I can make it a family trip as I haven’t been to Wales in about 20 years!
I spotted you and Helen at the show but didn't interrupt you to say hi! It was such a great show, I really enjoyed seeing a lot of scottish vendors that don't necessarily make it down south very often, if at all. I did buy some skeins of Ripples Crafts to pair with some Giddy Yarns, funnily enough, for a Daft Days cardigan, but your giveaway skein colours are right up my street & would definitely become a shawl!
Awww well if you ever see me again and want a chat always interrupt! I love making new yarny in person friends and I’m always too nervous to say hi first, so when folks say hi it’s literally the best thing for me 🤣 wipes out my nerves completely ❤
I love the colours in that skein of yarn! I would either crochet an ear warmer or a beanie with the skein… Also what I noticed on your seagull kit is that it looks like the picture was taken in cromer! 😄 Cannot wait for east Anglian yarn festival next year (this year was my first time going after getting back into crocheting) I literally spent a couple of hundred pounds! 🤭🫣 when will tickets go on sale for EAYF and more so the big stitch night? As I’d love to go to this ☺️
You’re right 😍The whole book that the seagull pattern is in is themed on Cromer 😍 I’m planning on Stitch Night and Entry Tickets for 2025’s EAYF going on sale in November, I’ll be shouting all about it before they go live ❤️ thank you so much for joining us this year! I am so excited for another year of yarn fest fun 💃
They say never work with children or animals but yours are super cute & extremely giggly!!! Thank you for filming with our friends too! Love seeing you all 💜

As always a delight to see you and what looks like a great yarn show in Edinburgh
Lovely to see you again and enjoyed seeing the woolly yarn show clips. If I was lucky to win I would knit a shawl to show the beautiful yarn off 😀
Lovely to see u back Laura 🎉 The yarn is gorgeous - I would knit my hubby some socks 😊

Lovely to see you again Laura. You 3 truely had a good time. A single skein shawl or a hat would be beautiful knit in that beautiful yarn.

You and your family are such cuties 🥰. And that was an epic drive! I would make a simple garter stitch, one skein wonder shawl to let the yarn shine ✨
Lovely vlog ❤. I think it would have to be a cowl 💜
Such a fun video. I think I would make a scarf/cowl with the yarn.
Thank you so much for your video …I would probably knit some mittens or a scarf I love greens and purples together 🤩🙏🏻✨👌

Glad to hear you had such a wonderful time! I think I might do a cowl or shawlette with that single. It would be interesting, I’ve never worked with singles.

have never worked with fingering weight but to me the co;our would make a gorgeous crocheted blanket so that is what I would do crochet a blanket
