I grew up in the 70's listening to Heart. They are legends of rock!! Still love them
Age 73 & 70 god bless them both still rocking and looking/sounding great 🤘🏻
I have to object to "looking great" - plastic surgery is most often often ugly in and of itself, but when you age with plastic surgery it just turns weird. Whether or not they still rock, I'll know when they get to Berlin later this month - but from what I've heard from different recordings, it does not bode well.
Simply the best female Rock singer ever! 🤘🤘
Agree!
Absolutely!
True fucking story in the world
I’m so glad to see you girls still going strong. This is a Blessing for all your fans. This is great
SOOOOO much respect for these women. They took the brunt of the chauvinism in our industry and gave it the middle finger. They proved they not only could keep up with the "big boys "' they kicked ass and took names & FAR exceeded most every other band in EVERY way. From performance,to writing, to their longevity - The Wilson Sisters not only earned their right as queens they PROVED it❤❤❤❤
They both are steal drop dead gorgeous!
I love Nancy Wilson... fantastic guitar player and so humble too...Heart really has great songs..
Glad to see they’re getting along
Doesn’t look like they are getting along but merely tolerating each other for the tour. Notice how Anne said nothing when they were asked about working together as sisters.
@@RJS1974 And what is she going to say? There were never any problems until her husband hit Nancy's children, and she decided to stop talking to her sister (Nancy was the one looking for her, with no response). I'm sure it's not a topic she wants to mention. For Nancy it's easier. Despite hers being the aggrieved side of, she was the one who sought conciliation.
@@RJS1974 She looked extremely angry too. Its awful and uncomfortable.
You can feel the tension. They don’t like each other a whole lot. Lol
Loved this band for decades.
Fell in Love with Heart , the day me and a friend walked in store and Record Store owner was unboxing Dream Boat Annie album at 16 in 1976 , and became amazed at these beautiful talented ladies , Get Well Soon Ann we miss you and our thoughts and prayers for you a speedy Recovery
I've loved these two women for years and, Heart has been a huge influence on my becoming a musician.
I've listened and loved them and their music since the beginning in 1975. True legends and have paved the way for today's women in music. Nancy Wilson is and has been an underrated guitarist. She rocks! ❤
Love heart!! Ann has the best vocals in this world, and their songs are just beautiful and bring back so many memories!!!!
More than anything else, they are survivors! Loved them when they first started and still do!
My fave concert of all time. Heart. Easter Sunday, 1980. Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, LA.
👀❤️on Valentine's! 💕
Nancy is 70 😯
I remember them in '76 just hitting the airwaves. Both were wide eyed and full of energy but wet behind the ears. Here we are almost 50 years later. Where did the time go? Since then I've seen them in concert playing arenas and stadiums. However in the very early nineties I was invited to a small private party/concert/meet n greet where you could casually walk up to the stage and talk between songs. Less than 100 people yet they played over an hour. It was a full all out interactive show. There were no iphones, flashing lights, not even bic lighters - just the band and friends/family/guests milling about. While 'selfies' hadn't become a thing, I think anyone who had cameras, took photos - myself included. Standing in between your childhood rock idols was pretty crazy. Wonderful memory.
Love these two legendary women and their music!
Legends!!!!! ❤❤
They are such rock and roll icons. I was born in 1984 and I discovered them with their 80's music but "Magic Man" and "Barracuda" are classics.
Ann Wilson is so beautiful. She’s such a lady.
Totally wonderful band. Both in the 1970s and 80s
Met Ann and Nancy during a couple of tours, “Bad Animals” and “Brigade” respectively.
Obviously they are super nice and really cool. The autographs are a great keepsake, but the interactions and conversations with both make for the real reminiscing. One of my favorite bands ever
Rock and Roll never goes out of style.. Musicians never retire! 🔥
Wow, they look bloody amazing.
Plastic surgery is so wonderful!
@@DCB728or maybe they just aged well? Give women some credit.
@@Dan-lr4hmIt's obvious they've had work done. Take a look at the before and after pics. And that's OK, just don't deny it.
Yes they look great and sound great but Nancy red bits in the hair and red lips has a weird looking shape to it resembles some very nasty satanic pictures going around awhile ago involving a child let's just hope is just a coincidence
50 years later, and still two of the best voices ever recorded.
No auto-tune/robot voice, no lip singing, just belting it out!
My favorite group. I ❤ HEART
Omg, I just got the chills listening to Ann sing “Barracuda!” ICONS🙌🏼🎼🎶🎶💕. It just goes to show that age really IS just a number!!
Incredibly talented, and beautiful ladies in every way.❤️👏👏👏👏👏
i love these ladies
Almost 50 years on…
Amazing…still great..🎸🥁
Saw them last night and they were great!!!
Just saw Heart with Cheap Trick in Savannah. Great show! The band rocked hard. Nancy shredded and played delicately. And Anne still has a powerhouse rock voice at 74 years of age. She's not 100% of her peak but even still she is miles above most. And Cheap Trick was an added bonus. I got to live out my teenage dream of singing I Want You to Want Me with the band just like on Live at Budikan!
Can’t wait to see them again 🎉saw them 2019- Awesome 💖🎶🎸😘
Absolute legends..Ann has the best female vocal in rock.
Legends - still in love with them
Queen Anne x
Ann
Love these two bada.. rockers 🔥🔥🔥 bought my first Heart album in the 70’s. It was a beautiful white Album with 2 beautiful young ladies and I could believe what I was hearing. I bought all their album. Love my favorite pink album Dog and Butterfly. Saw them in Concert in 1978. Still listen to this day ❤️❤️❤️❤️🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Best female vocal in rock ever ! Great band, great songs. Should of been in H.O.F 20 + years ago. So cool there still rockin👍👍
They were inducted in 2013.
Amazing world famous sisters! 🎉 💎 ❤
Amazing… congratulations ladies! Live long ♥️
Heart is awesome. Fanny was pretty good too back in the early 70's
Love them! Saw them in Binghamton NY in .... 77 or 78 🤔
Love them ❤❤❤
Got tickets to take my sister to see them. Bucket list for her, and my pleasure to see great talent!
My two favourite female singers 🎤from Heart ❤️. I still listen to them today. I saw them twice and they put on a great concert 🎶.
Imagine being asked the same questions for decades and not losing your mind.
Especially today when most "journalists" are itching to get something they can turn into clickbait "controversy".
Especially with some of them being such nonsense. They were not the first women in rock.
I was thinking the same exact thing. This interviewer didn’t do a great job preparing.
@@Dan-lr4hm You're being nice; she's such a goofball.
@@julieb7785 boring and generic interviewer
Ann and Nancy true legends.
My HEART soars to see you two together again. Rock on!!!!!
TWO QUEEN OF ROCK❤❤❤
These 2 Women are Awesome I have pictures with both of them in the late 80`s Great times. Nancy and Ann both have a great sense of humour, I have the pics to prove it.
I want to seeee! ❤
As a Latina who loves rock 🎸 so much , heart are icons 🖤🖤🖤
Agreed!❤
They're both still so cool.
Two VERY amazing and beautiful ladies ❤️🙏🏼👍☮️
Admiro tanto a estás mujeres!!
Son una verdadera leyenda del Rock viviente.
La mejor banda Rock 🎸🎙️🎼 femenina de toda la historia!
Sin duda alguna! 😍👌🏼✨
Seeing them in September. Should be good.
I saw them both in concert with my Brother in NYC. They were so fabulous!!! 🎶🎵🎤🎸🥁🎹🎺🪕🎷
Saw them last night in Savannah and I had so much fun. They were wonderful and kicked butt. Ann and Nancy will forever be Rock Royalty. Ann’s voice is still strong and beautiful, Nancy’s guitar playing is perfection. I do worry that the tour has way too many stops, I hope they can play all of those dates. Ann seemed fragile to me. I wish her a speedy recovery.
Ann is not fragile. She announces before starting the concert that she had knee replacement surgery and the doctor told her to sit more during the concert till her knee completely heals. She said she is in good health other than her knee surgery.
@@tonette65 She mentioned that during the concert so I am aware. But what I perceived has nothing to do with her knee surgery.
Saw them in San Antonio last night in San Antonio, TX. They are STILL incredible!! Rock royalty forever! Kickass women!
Really believed Ann when she said last year that this year because of the group's 50th anniversary, she was going to get the original band members together to perform and tour as Heart.
She didn’t say that. She was asked if that was a possibility and she said “you never know”.
They played at my school dances in Vancouver. They played at my grad party in '73. Lots of Led Zeppelin covers in those days.......
I was born in April 1974 so I'm as old as the band hart ann Willson is very beautiful lady ❤I've always been attracted to her 😊
I was born in April of 74 as well..... I have always loved Heart.
Many moons ago back when i was 18 i traveled to Bremerton Wash. to see a gal i had met back in my home town in Calif...Her, I , and a few of her friends all went to go see this band from Seattle they all liked and said was really popular in the area...Well, one of the gals in the group we were in was only 17 so she wasnt allowed into the place...So we all sat out in the parking lot of this little Roadhouse type place partied and tailgated and listened to this band...The band i found out later was Heart ...This was before they ever had any albums out...Im thinking the yr was 1974 maybe...
What a great year that was
❤ Wow!!! I didn't see them until 77 Portland, ME when they were established and several times afterward. Warms my heart to see them. Ann knows all the tricks to protect her voice, but this tour's schedule will be grueling for it.❤
Fan from day one ♥
My all time very favorite band that I rock out to pretty much everyday still!
💜💜💜
Living Legends. Rock on ladies!!! ❤❤❤🎸
Great band
Women I look up to. Thank you.
Legends
These two Rock Sisters are dear to my heart !
Love y’all. Grew up to u, you’re both so beautiful! I grew up in Bellevue too💜
You were my first concert at Park City, UT. Michael Bolton opened, there were technical problems for his part. Had to wait a little longer for your part💙🔥
Respect!!!
Thanks! ✌️🎻😎🫤
I am going to their concert in May 1st 2024😊
saw them in Tampa last night, and I was blown away! if they play near you, go see them, you will love the show.
My musical background was honed by your examples Wilson sisters.
The ABC host, Maggie Rulli, is just way too precious... ugh!!!
"You can't help but dance..." (referring to the rock classic Barracuda - not a "dance" song but a hard-burn rock classic). The Wilson sisters and Heart are straight out of my high school days in the 70's where I was lucky enough to see them headlining in arenas in '77, '78 and '80. Two of my rock heroes, Ann and Nancy... and Maggie Rulli, dial it down girl!
"It took several years for them to catch on." ??? C'mon! Magic Man, Crazy On You & Dreamboat Annie were some of the most overplayed radio songs of 1976 in northern IL...& for years to come. The tape was in every car that I knew of. That being said, these 2 are icons, legends. Love them both. Michael Derosier was their best drummer. Guy was a monster player.
Derosier was great on tracks like "Say Hello" & "Barracuda"
However I think Kat Hendrikse, who was a session drummer and worked on most tracks on Dreamboat Annie, is my favorite. Songs like "(Love Me Like Music) I'll Be Your Song)" & "Crazy On You" & "Dreamboat Annie (Reprise)" which has a drum solo towards the end and might be the greatest drum solo to ever be featured within a ballad. I just love the Jazz sensibilities of all the session players during that time. Going forward I would have wanted to see Heart keep more of a Jazz feel in their percussion instead of the Gypsy Rock style that Michael has. Ben Smith was also incredible - he really stood mostly in the center of those two worlds and came up with very creative parts for heart in their later years of recording.
One of the best.
But what did they do
with there faces?
I don’t remember anybody caring that they were women. Me and my friends discovered Heart by 1976. I also don’t recall that it took them “several years to catch on.” They were FM album rock oriented in the beginning and so their stuff was played on FM rock stations. In the 80s, they were more pop and so there were played on top 40 and AC stations.
Yeah that’s crap. They were popular out of the gate. Their first album went platinum.
Wow amazing
If Roger Fisher would be playing with them I would go without hesitation
Come to South America❤ We love you Nancy and Ann ❤❤❤❤❤
Ann and Nancy are amazing talents. I just wished they would give some credit to Roger, Howard, Steve, and Michael every now and then for their incredible contributions to Heart's success. Heart was more than just Ann and Nancy.
Saw them a bunch and always put on a great show. Can't wait to see them at Red Rocks!
It’s so 3:21 bad ass Miss Nancy and Ann Wilson it gets no better… too my deep loves Ann and Nancy Wilson you help make me whom I am and bless you guys. Amen
I'm going to see them tomorrow.
They're doing 85 concerts? They'll be burned out by the 40th. I can't imagine being on the road repeating the same songs over and over. Heart is definitely part of my era as a young adult
2 rock icons
I have seen many, many live concerts of bands in their prime. Back in the 70s and 80s. From Kiss to Journey. From Ted Nugent to Judas Priest. From The Cars to Reo Speedwagon. Black Oak Arkansas, Bill Withers, Van Halen, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Def Leppard, Steve Miller, Pat Benatar, Jethro Tull, The James Gang, Chuck Berry, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead. All off the top of my head and the list goes on and on. For every band I mentioned, I forgot to mention two others.
With respect to seeing a live band in their prime, my single greatest regret is that I never saw Heart play. My life is officially incomplete. This tour is the last chance. I need to complete the bucket list.
Go girls🤘❤️
10 heart ann and nancy live legends heart legends rock band diamonds duo heart 1❤❤❤❤❤
I wish there were women like this making music when I was growing up
Heart was over as far as I'm concerned when Roger Fisher was fired because Nancy Wilson broke up with him. It had nothing to do with musical differences and everything to do with "feelings" and revenge, much like what finally happened with Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. He was the soul of the music, and without that, Heart turned into a tedious ballad machine. There's no ignoring Ann Wilson's incredible voice, but they made business decisions based on emotion. Sure, they had plenty of success later on, but they aren't "Heart" anymore. Don't date your fellow band members.
4:10 “it’s all Heart music, it’s not a bunch of covers”. They’re still playing multiple Zeppelin covers in the same show.
Nancy is looking great and still sounding so good
Exactly how many times do we need to do this story...........................9000 times?
Yet you’re here 😂
So sad our Montréal show has been postponed can wait to know their new dates
Maggie Rulli A great smoky voice and outstanding enthusiasm! You should rock a band. Heart is electrifying, but they weren't the first women to crash the bad boys school of rock. But they nailed it when they talked about the change in music biz. Late night DX'ing on extra band tube AM radio Music of all kinds from Mexico to French Montreal! God bless you all.
❤ h e a r t ❤ I saw them live at the Day on the Green in Oakland. So cool. Love them. Huge inspiration Little Queen album especially. Best wishes you two. I saw Jason Bonham and the Zep experience in Florida . It was outstanding!
