Good to see our DESI brands doing so well in the foreign countries, I mean Mahindra is the world's biggest tractor manufacturer & Tata is the biggest truck manufacturer. It's also great to see our desi companies getting the sort of recognition that other foreign brands get. Proud to be an Indian.😇
@John Hero when peaple like u will sit infront of mobile and comment flaws about our own brands instead of doing R$D then u expect these brands to give birth to brilliant minds who are capable enough to develop those technologies. See fate of R&D in india and compare with outside world and the.n comment flaws.
@John Hero brilliant minds are also required for investing. 20 years ago fate of India was something else. It's was too much under developed and making phone and vehicle are different things.
The most important thing that makes tata reliable is that the quality of the trucks is fabulous. Even it's very old truck or new truck, there are no compromises in the steel, engine, quality, etc.
@John Hero trucks are all about ruggidness. And reliability. It's not like premium cars. Where u expect everything to be perfect. Also safety in all trucks are poor. Being in transport fleet business we only care about fuel efficiency and saving that truck is giving. And Tata trucks ticks all those boxes. Trucks are like backbone in transport business and Tata trucks are apt for those business that's why go anywhere in country u will find Tata trucks at every road. Even hyundai ms cars reaches dealership in Tata trucks only.
I think Tata Prima deserved a mention in this video as Prima is an example of Tata focusing on modernising their trucks to compete with other giants in this field
My paternal grandfather used to work in TELCO when it's trucks were known as Tata Mercedes Benz trucks. He was sent to Mercedes-Benz training center in Stuttgart, Germany advanced training in 1960. I heard stories from him about the most unusual vehicle from Mercedes-Benz at that time - Unimog. Currently, Mercedes-Benz categorize it as truck, but at those times it was neither a car, nor a truck.
@Greenleaf Cinematic Today it has evolved into one, in fact Daimler Benz categorizes as light special duty truck. Back then, what I heard from my grandfather that it was a replacement for tractors that can also do duties of light trucks. Add to that, it has a compressor attached with it's engine. Coupled with ability to attach various fitments it is extremely versatile. He actually showed me a photograph of Unimogs being tested in a testing ground and another where one is used to dig ground using it's compressor.
@@georgecarlinn6288 I think you are misinformed, Unimog was conceived as an alternative to farm equipment that's also able to do duties of light trucks in post war divided Germany.

Overall a good video. but you missed the business ventures TATA has in Ukraine where they manufacture busses for the local market and sell under the badge of local distributor. Try to cover in the next video on TAT if any.
Once upon a time TATA's Pimpri plant was One of the biggest R&D (ERC) center in Asia. Before the retirement of Ratan Tata sir as a chairman the ERC department gifted him a tank (Only employees were knowing this). Before launch of any TATA's cars, buses or trucks they are been roughly tested for about 1 to 3 years that's why in top 5 safest car 3 are of TATAs.

They have good support from all political parties. Tata is in indias DNA . Similarly we want Indian government to support farmers and pvt sector salaried people.
Hello Biturbo media.. You are giving very good content.. The video on Tata motors expansion was good. It also becomes important to learn ; how do such ultra big companies produce or procure spare parts, body parts, suspension and other mechanical parts for so many of their varieties of trucks, vans, suvs and cars...!!!
Let’s not forget that in the Indian landscape, there’s another highly reputed giant - Ashok Leyland. They too have grown impressively and have a very good reputation for performance and reliability. TVS is their authorised service partner too, so all Indian brands on solid ground.

Interesting that TATA has a JV with a maker from an RHT (Right-Hand Traffic) country (i.e. Daewoo from #Korea). IMO it would be best if TATA and other automakers in #India influence #India, #Pakistan, #Thailand and other LHT (Left-Hand Traffic) continental countries to switch to RHT for standardizing driving across every land border with the least amount of time and resources to achieve standard. This could include donating buses that are RHT-compatible, volunteer to retrofit existing RHD (Right-Hand Drive) buses to be RHT-compatible, influencing governments to no longer legalize sales of new RHD vehicles but legalize sales of new LHD (Left-Hand Drive) vehicles, volunteer to fund new RHT-compatible road signs, etc.
