I was very negative after Tonali departure. The new managment is doing well we have to be honest, but also I would underline the fact that all the players bought so far were mentioned or already negotiated from Maldini and Massara. The only one never mentioned was Pulisic, instead they wanted to get Kamada. Let's hope he stays healthy (I believe he is still recovering from a metatarsal injury) Chukwueze: as I predicted, Villarreal will sell because otherwise they'd lose him on a free next summer. So why pay $20M+ for him? Because next summer there will be a bunch of clubs trying to get him which will drive up the wage demands. This guy is a beast! Musah: Overpriced, not sure if we need him. Kamada: I wanted him a month ago but now we have better players. Now we will find out if Pioli is truly a good coach. He does deserve credit for the Scudetto but it was also a huge failure on the part of Inter/Juve/Napoli. He did well in the CL last season but we got bossed by a poor Chelsea side and then got lucky with the draw. He now has quality and depth but has to integrate several new players quickly and come up with a real attacking strategy. Now I wish we had someone like De Zerbi or even Sarri, but I'm hoping Pioli rises to the occasion. In any case, I'm super excited!
Asuming we close the deal on Chukwueze and Musah, this would be my opinion on all the signings. Very good players, definitely upgrades and excited to see in the pitch: Pulisic, Chukwueze, Reijnders (even Sportiello clear upgrade over Tata). Not completely convinced: RLC (mainly the injury factor). Look bad even in their youtube highlights and/or stats and would've prefered other options: Musah, Okafor.
I do not hold the idea that Okafor is a better signing than the striker from Porto. But coupled with the idea of loosing the last non-EU slot when getting a right winger and specifically the winger from Villareal. I would say getting Okafor is not a bad decision. Now just keeping to the idea on who is a better player Taremi is a better player both from a playing style and injury perspective. I believe that Teremi passing is similar to a number 10. He is forward thinking and his through balls are golden. Okafor is more a right winger, but he is stronger and agile with the ball. But his injury record is really bad. For comparison, Leao missed 4-5 games last season and Giroud missed 1. Okafor missed over 10 games every year. Most of the players that were brough in are going to be starters but they are injury prone. This adds to the probability that Milan were able to get lower prices to this factor among others. Instead of asking how will the signings perform in the season. The viewers are going to have to consider how long will a performing player will do injury wise and the season goes on. Now on another note I always said the team needed back up full backs, and they have to be quality full backs. I though Singo for the right would have been great but with the player from real Madrid coming in on loan suggest the team might not bs looking for one. A right back is needed once toure is sold.
I'm 100% satisfied but I don't think the new players will perform well and if we're so lucky 3 players will be starters and will have a good impact on the team but still we have depth in the squad which will be huge in the future because we have enough players to give a chance for young players to grow and we have the luxury to be patient with new players and the best part that we don't have to sign 6-8 players every year to fill the team holes but we can and should look for 1 or 2 quality players (50+ M) who can take the team to the next level which we couldn't dream of for the previous decade because every season we had 5 or 6 positions we desperately needed but now i think in the next 2 years we can bring 3 or 4 elite players and return to our rightful place so i don't really care about the next season competition because we didn't build a great team we just took the first steps to building a great team and I'm so happy about it

Okafor: I've wanted this guy ever since he toyed with our defense last season. What an amazing deal. Let's hope he stays healthy (I believe he is still recovering from a metatarsal injury)
Chukwueze: as I predicted, Villarreal will sell because otherwise they'd lose him on a free next summer. So why pay $20M+ for him? Because next summer there will be a bunch of clubs trying to get him which will drive up the wage demands. This guy is a beast!
Musah: Overpriced, not sure if we need him.
Kamada: I wanted him a month ago but now we have better players.
Now we will find out if Pioli is truly a good coach. He does deserve credit for the Scudetto but it was also a huge failure on the part of Inter/Juve/Napoli. He did well in the CL last season but we got bossed by a poor Chelsea side and then got lucky with the draw. He now has quality and depth but has to integrate several new players quickly and come up with a real attacking strategy. Now I wish we had someone like De Zerbi or even Sarri, but I'm hoping Pioli rises to the occasion. In any case, I'm super excited!

Asuming we close the deal on Chukwueze and Musah, this would be my opinion on all the signings. Very good players, definitely upgrades and excited to see in the pitch: Pulisic, Chukwueze, Reijnders (even Sportiello clear upgrade over Tata). Not completely convinced: RLC (mainly the injury factor). Look bad even in their youtube highlights and/or stats and would've prefered other options: Musah, Okafor.

I do not hold the idea that Okafor is a better signing than the striker from Porto. But coupled with the idea of loosing the last non-EU slot when getting a right winger and specifically the winger from Villareal. I would say getting Okafor is not a bad decision.
Now just keeping to the idea on who is a better player Taremi is a better player both from a playing style and injury perspective. I believe that Teremi passing is similar to a number 10. He is forward thinking and his through balls are golden. Okafor is more a right winger, but he is stronger and agile with the ball. But his injury record is really bad. For comparison, Leao missed 4-5 games last season and Giroud missed 1. Okafor missed over 10 games every year.
Most of the players that were brough in are going to be starters but they are injury prone. This adds to the probability that Milan were able to get lower prices to this factor among others. Instead of asking how will the signings perform in the season. The viewers are going to have to consider how long will a performing player will do injury wise and the season goes on.
Now on another note I always said the team needed back up full backs, and they have to be quality full backs. I though Singo for the right would have been great but with the player from real Madrid coming in on loan suggest the team might not bs looking for one. A right back is needed once toure is sold.
I'm 100% satisfied but I don't think the new players will perform well and if we're so lucky 3 players will be starters and will have a good impact on the team but still we have depth in the squad which will be huge in the future because we have enough players to give a chance for young players to grow and we have the luxury to be patient with new players and the best part that we don't have to sign 6-8 players every year to fill the team holes but we can and should look for 1 or 2 quality players (50+ M) who can take the team to the next level which we couldn't dream of for the previous decade because every season we had 5 or 6 positions we desperately needed but now i think in the next 2 years we can bring 3 or 4 elite players and return to our rightful place so i don't really care about the next season competition because we didn't build a great team we just took the first steps to building a great team and I'm so happy about it
