You made the music sound subtly contemporary and helped it to be heard with a new appreciation.

It's typical early music. The vibraphone and guitar give it a slightly modern skin.
If I were familiar with the language, I could even understand the story. I'm sure the story is as wonderful as the video. By the way, beautiful voice. I wish I could write beautiful music to match such a voice.
Some of this music was composed by Poul.
    Wonderful !!!!

Thank you so much for your comment! Here's an interesting blog about the Spanish romance translated into English: waterbloggedbooks.wordpress.com/2019/08/01/woe-is-me-alhama/

Despite the sorry fact that I don't enjoy the volume-based singing style of "opera", this is really enjnoyable! But these singers have more feeling than technique! Maybe there is a softening up of the old traditional school. I mean, the style was in fact not established for estetic reasons, but instead for the purpose of sounding loud, so as to be audible above the shoutings of ticket buying drunks during the Mozart period. Some have come to love the style, because the music is beautiful. My ears are simply too sensible. But this, I do like! It's like, the singers balance on the edge of volume and beauty, and the beauty wins, because of the heartful dedication of the singers!
Also, the arrangement is brilliantly simplistic, nothing wasted!

Classical singing style has not necessarily anything to do with 19th century opera performances! :)
