Awesome review Viking. I actually watched this video last year when you first posted it. Actually ordered one after seeing you put it through it’s paces. It’s a great knife, batons likes a beast, carves pretty good and penetrates like no other in my collection. My knife rusted on day one, every where the acid etch is applied is pitted with deep rust, and it continues despite being coated in lube. The edge is bare steel and remains perfectly intact, not a sign of rust. I have several acid etched Tops knives. Tex Creek XL, ElChete, Operator 7, Apache Dawn, they’re all pristine. Same amount of use, same knife maintenance regimen, same storage space. I think the acid etch was botched somehow, maybe not removed after application or rinsed properly. Anyways if it’s happened to anyone else wanted them to know it’s happened to me too. Good review, on a great knife design, enjoy your reviews big guy.
I subscribed after watching this video, hell of a job testing this knife ! When he stepped on the knife, I couldn't believe it took it...really tough. I purchased the knife after watching as well, so he sold me on it for sure.
Black bear customs made a kydex for mine and I got it back with chips out of the finish. You can watch him try to scrape it off in his video as if it was dirt or something. Oh yeah, it took 8 months to get it back. Buyer beware My BK9 & BK7 came back great, all sent at once. 66% happy with that order

Such a awsome knife I love this blade profile I have all the kizlyar versions of this and the tops reg one like you have and just ordered the blackout .. I'm kind of obsessed lol. Only one I don't ha e is the Tops joint spec ops and I highly dought I will ever find one
