How do I know if a counting is for me. I have been in accounting for 4 years with no promotion and it's really getting dull and although I'm studying for my CPA I don't even know what the future holds for me any advice for an uncertain future?

@@wombat0433 Get out of your comfort zone. It seems that you already mastered the job you have for 4 years and it's time to move beyond thist point if you want to learn more and advance your career. Start applying for higher positions.

@@HI-bv9is thank you for the feedback. I would love to look for another job but at the moment I am unable as this whole pandemic has made my anxiety a bit worse so since I work from home I'm going to stick it out a little longer hopefully I'll be better in the future. As for the higher position I don't even feel competent in my current role anymore so now I'm just questioning everything since I wasn't promoted. I'm like a dog that's been kicked out to the streets and the master throws tortillas at it

@@wombat0433 I'm sure you are very good at what you do and been doing for 4 years. Don't let your mind play tricks on you. Take like a week vacation to reset your brain. I think you're just tired and your brain is exhausted from over thinking. Stay strong and don't give up!

Ups and downs are inevitable in life.
    The more favourable the situation,
the humbler we need to be.
    Keep bitterness to ourselves
    and leave happiness to others.

Not sure about changing bank accounts. It will lose a historic data. If new start up and new bank account, there is not much historical data. Then it makes sense to change the bank.

I was offered an interim CFO position, I do not have a CPA, I will fill in for a couple of months until they hire a permanent CFO. This is a nonprofit foster care agency with two accountants under me. Am I going to follow the same procedures and expectations and those three items? Or should I concentrate on something else since it’s nonprofit?

I’ve been working as an AP agent for a not large company for over 3 years also usually covering up for AR and order entering agent. I basically know so much but can’t sell my services very well.😢 And another thing is that I can’t go out to work onsite because I have to always be home. That’s why I’ve been stuck with this unappreciative employer who never gives raise.
I’ve been watching a couple of videos for a couple days and your advices are really empowering and insightful.
So I simply wanted to thank you for motivation and inspiration❤️
