The not like us beat was fire. I dont get why the two guys on the left gave it a 6. Its hard to listen to it and not feel compelled to do the west coast moves. The instruments too were good. The horns sampled contributed too much to it. Without them i don't think it would have had the same effect. Then masturd added the drums and the 808 and man the beat was slapping. I would have went crazy listening to the song even if it was another rapper on it. However we all know Kendrick kills every beat he hops on so that raised the hype. The Alchemist beat was fire too, it did its job, it just happened to have the right person hop on it. People did not talk about the impact the beat had on them while listening to the song just because Kendrick was on it.
I don't get yall saying that these two beats were fire because Kendrick was on them. Yall had me question your music taste.
I gave it a 6 cause it’s an average Mustard beat. Lol
And as for MTG, that’s not a popular instrumental. It’s a rappity rapper beat. I personally love it, but that’s not the beat that a mainstream rapper outside of a Kendrick is taking to a top 5 streaming placement.
If you disagree, I’d love an example of Alchemist’s joints that have nearly gone number one anywhere other than my personal playlists. Lol

Say it as someone who understands music and not just as a fan who chooses what they like and don't like based on their personal taste.
