holy shit the dashes sound amazing. definitely the best sounding switch for the wooting ive heard
They're literally just recolored Magnetic Jades. They do sound good though.
@@itsjaesura oh my b, i havent been keeping up to date with the newer switches
The dashes sound phenomenal omg. Music to my eyes as soon as you switched from the Orange to the Dash. Also, I love the backing tracks! Used those tracks myself too long long ago. Love the vibes
Instantly ordered these switches for my 60he module that’s on the way. Hype to add these to the build. Thanks for sharing
Cool vid, those dashes sound so nice!
I just saw a video about these switches 0_0, thats dope that you were able to try em out
Bro I literally gasped when i heard the dashes. I might have to check them out
just jades no ?
@@melihdrms1182 Yes, dashes are just a recolor of the jades, as mentioned in the video.
Same
@@melihdrms1182dashes are the exact same but 10$ less
Me too😂
Thanks for this incredible video, I was this close to buying the Gateron jade, but thanks to you I'm going to buy the Dash, they are incredible(for me, the sound is clearly different, I've watched more than 10 sound test)!!!! The Sticky Rice are really nice too!
They're literally the same?
Wouldve preferred to see a magnet quality comparison, with rapid trigger and all its quite important.
The dashes sound so good.
They sound so nice! For some reason the sound on the Sticky Rices sounded almost “chalky” if that makes sense. If you ever get some Gateron Jade switches I would love to hear a comparison and your opinions between them and the dashes!
ws dash switches are gateron jades just other collor housings but sound feel and perform just the same
Bought the switches Ty!
bro is putting us on to some peak 😭
Im thinking about getting a wooting in the future, is there any silent keys? That are good to get
Great vid! My wooting config is = Mekanisk Fjell Alu Case CNC, Magnetic Jade switches (hand lubed), Plate foam, PE-Foam, tape mod and ws Screw in stabs V3.1 gold And Milkyway Alfheim keycaps. It sounded a lot like your ws dashes but a bit smoother and lower pitched. I recently ordered the boog 75HE induction coil ED i hope to try thew sticky rice switches on it!
hello why hand lubed? when you bought the set it wasn't already prelubed version? currently it is
@@Assassunn the pre-lube is always subpar imo but hmx switches have great factory lube
I have the KS-20u on my wooting, and they're great! Virtually no more stem wobble. The L45 wobble was driving me insane, so I returned them and got the KS-20u instead. Factory lube wasn't bad, but they were drastically better after I hand lubed them.
what about actuation force wise which switch felt lighter ?
@@jonathanmoreira8930 Definitely the L45. The KS-20u feels like a middle ground between L45 and L60 in terms of actuation force.
Gateron Jades are so popular as a mod that wooting now has them on their site for purchase
Just ordered dashes for the the keys that have stab and sticky for all other, going for a more silent sound
holy shit dashes sound insane, seems the ultimate combo is a 60he with dashes
Place a felt pad under your keyboard if youre going to do sound tests on a wooden table, especially if it's veneer.
Is the keyboard as fast as is was before?
the sticky rices in particular are very interesting, it looks like you can swap out the top housing for standard cherry switch top housings, and the clipped pins could mean you could go plateless
Hey did you test the Lekker V2's?
Geon Raptor HE still based. New version and many others coming out later this year keep your options open.
These are my faves so far (Geon Raptor HE).
Is the case super important? Can I just go with the wooting alumaze 60?
Hey so I just ordered the dashes for my wooting they’ll be here tomorrow and I plan on changing them along with the case and keycaps etc. I keep hearing about a problem with the spacebar because it’s shorter travel or something? Heard I gotta change my springs ?? Or can I just change it without needing to do anything else ? Thanks for making this video too btw
I had no issues with my spacebar.
When you swap switches and plates on the wooting you wanna test if actuation at 4.0mm is working on all keys and tighten the plate if not
?? I heard people saying that about the spacebar. Is this what you mean? Will I have issues changing to the dashes?
Switched to Gateron Jades just today. I can confirm the great sound and better performance due to 3,5mm travel instead of 4mm. It sounds small but is a huge difference. Less travel feels more direct for gaming and the sound is great for daily use and tiping.
For the sticky rice does the stabilizer work?
Wait so are the dashes basically jades with a different colored stem? Are the stems better? Cause it gets me thinking if I should switch out the stem in my jades. I picked up 70 switches for 29 dollars for aliexpress and I think they’re amazing.
Stem is just a different colour, they aren’t better in any way.
I would have also taken the Dash as well.
WS Dash is just a Gateron Jades recolored if anyone is interested. They're also slightly cheaper.
Just pre-ordered the 80he with jade switches lol can't wait
have fun waiting until fall 😭💀💀
@@21ninpo Yeah no kidding lol and it'll most likely be a longer wait than that
oh man I pray for your patience. waiting for my 60he and gonna buy the 80he when its in-stock 💀
@@sauceguy6945 i just got my wooting yesterday and its so good man
@@sauceguy6945 I was gonna do that but I have no intention of playing on a 60% so I didn't want to get used to it
I thought we finally got clicky switches for the 60 HE. Number one reason I am not moving from my box navy is the feel of those switches. Number two is the weight. Need heavy switches.
hall effect switches can only be linear
@@eric678 and that makes me very sad
Would these work for the wooting two he full sized keyboard too? I assume so since it's just swapping the switches. The dashes really shocked me at how good they sound
They would, you’d just have to order more switches
what keycaps are you using?
how do the dashes compare to raptor hall he ??
w video as always
i currently use gateron jades THEYRE SO GOOD
@@FakeFilipinodid you lube them at all? debating whether or not i should to achieve as much as a thocky sound as possible lol
Just bought the WS Dash they sounds awesome
450 usd for 60 switches? Am I trippin?
@@cozee69 $450 ?? Hell no I spent $52 bud for 70 switches I finally get them tomorrow super hyped
@@Kohgie wait so when you order, what was your quantity?
@@cozee69 7 was my quantity brother not 70 remember 1 order is 10 switches
@@Kohgie thank you bro! 🙏🏼
I think dashes sound the best
The dash give most nice sound
if i own the apex pro do you think i should buy the wooting 80? i know the apex pro is good but i lowkey want something different
if u got the $ go for it
I wonder how the dashes sound with diy lube.
I am manifesting silent HE switches with my mind so I can get a Wooting.
They too Jade's and just stem swapped them lol?
i know this is a stupid question, as i’m quite new to the hobby. would these hall effect switches go on drunkdeer a75 aswell? Or are they exclusive to wooting?
Yes they would work with the drunkdeer since it uses magnetic switches.
@@Jaeky gotcha! thanks for the quick reply :)
No, they will not work.
The magnet on the Raesha
switches found in the DD A75 sits on the side of the stem. The Wooting compatible switches have the magnet on the bottom centre of the stems.
DD have stated they are looking at releasing a few more switch options for their hall effect pcb keyboards in the future.
@@popsbis1891 THANK YOU SO MUCH! You’re a lifesaver
I have a question do the Gateron Jades sounds the same as the Dash or different?
They sound pretty much the same :)
would the dash switches fit onto the Keychron Q1 Pros? only asking cause its my first custom keyboard and looking into some switches.
they shouldn't, the dashes are hall effect switches while the keychron q1 pro features a standard pcb (non hall effect pcb) that would only be compatible with standard mechanical switches
@@prismode5399 ahh okok, thank you so much for the info!
They sound amazing but damn 0.80 per switch its pretty expensive
Do you need to hand lube the everglade sticky rice switches or is the factory lube fine?
The factory lube is really good, I don’t see a need to relube it.
@@Jaeky Thanks for the confirmation! I just ordered me a set and you have a new subscriber.
These fr had to come out right after I frankenswitched the Geon Raptor and the Lekker 😞
Its a recolored jade which has been out for a while
I went with sticky rice 🍚 and then I got the fried rice switches
do i need other stabilizers when replacing the default switches with the dashes? i heard with gateron jade you do.
No, I use the stock stabilizers and I’ve had no issues.
@@Jaeky what should i pick? these or the gateron jade? i am new to modding so hope you can help me out.
@@ronald0122 The Dash is just a recoloured Jade so just get whichever one comes out to be cheaper for you.
@@Jaeky Thanks
The difference is insane, makes me wanna swap from my GMMK Pro to this!
timely mannered posting
ofc just the day after i bought Gateron Jade,i found this vid :)
The Dashes are the same as the Jades, just a recolour.
ngl, u NEED to swap the plate to like a polycarbonate plate. It will make your keyboard sound 70% better
I can confirm 70% better. Tape mod will make it 125% better. 195% better is a pretty enjoyable experience
@@richboii6597 DID HE NOT TAPE MOD?????????? If he didnt that honestly a big L
Wait these switches are EXPENSIVE!?
Why did u take it apart to change switches pleasE?
Makes the switches easier to remove if you separate the plate from the PCB. Also less chance of damaging anything.
sticky rice is the one
so the performance stays the same but you get waaaay better sound?
Yes
@@Jaekydo the dash switches affect the rgb lighting?
@@HOLY_FRIJOLES No
@@Jaeky nice. I just ordered some. Sadly it was a pain because my bank thought I was getting scammed. I was able to work around it though. Seems this is a problem many people are having
wait so the dashes are just gat jades?
Yes
Does any of this affect the latency, because thats the reason i bought a wooting
You might asw make your own pcb at this point
$8 per switch ??
$8 for a pack of 10. 80 cents per switch.
@@Jaeky link on round containers or they come with switches?
@@anobeus4814 they came with
am i first??
u guys are sick madafakas normalizing spending 400 dollars on a keyboard
But... What if they sound slightly different than a 40$ one?
ngl my stock wooting sounds better.
I doubt it
