Fantastic album. Absolutely phenomenal. I have no idea why so many people hate it. Tom will always be my favorite member. Blink is just fantastic.
Because Blink fans have no idea what being an adult means, which is why they're still salty that in 2005 Tom grew up and started working on new and better things.

+Adrenalized 2000 yes! The contrast between mark and toms voices was brilliant for so many years. And I did always love toms guitar choices/ riffs. This new blink album sounds exactly like a +44/ alkaline trio mashup. Tbh it's just really not blink anymore to me

alexandre. Im hoping. We know tom wants the mature type of music like ava and mark n travis want that TOYPAJ type of album. Hopefully they jam it together again and make another neighborhood type of album. But idk if tom would want skiba. Tom said he liked blink cuz taking that second guitar out opens up alot more options for other instruments or vocals or bass melody. Maybe though who knows.

It is near impossible for a band to keep the same sound for 25 years. But they have aged well. The sound isn't surprising to me with the direction it went especially since they got back together after so many years. Yet I am surprised that tom will not be on the new album. Whatever situation is the cause of it, it's still hard to grasp

Blink 182 has always been my favorite band. Growing up in Argentina in the 90s I always dreamed of seeing them play live. Unfortunately they never came to my country and I lost track of the band's state when they broke up the first time so I wasn't really aware of these albums that came out after 2005. I finally saw them live 25 years after I first heard one of their songs from enema of the state last week in Sydney, Australia. A dream come true indeed. I heard this song live and I was like.. what is this gem? Had to come to listen to the album. Probably in their top 5 best songs for sure. These guys are at the top of their game, go see them live. They are still blink 182, but more mature and they sound really professional and clean.
This album has gotten a lot more love in recent years actually. The reason why this album is amazing, is Tom. Self titled sounded the way it did because Tom did boxcar racer, which was darker. Now with neighborhoods, it has a mix of blink 182, +44 which was mark and Travis band in between blink 05-09. And box car. Those influences made one amazing album. And this album ranked #2 on the album charts at the time I think, which for an experimental album is great. But hey California which wasn’t progressive and instead sounded more generic than nickel-back got #1 which is obvious, and then new blink got with lil Wayne, and then we have new blinks album “nine” which mark says is like self titled. At least Tom is being progressive. And Tom didn’t leave, he got kicked out over a miscommunication over a show being played... I’m still sour about that a bit lol. Anyways, this album is really really good. Check out dogs eating dogs while you’re at it, it’s their last thing with Tom.

This is what I miss. I miss Green Day and All Time Low and Fall Put Boy and how all of their songs were about being a teenager and being badass. That's what a "punk" band is. Like I'm so tired of all of this pop shit. I want to listen to something that makes me feel a little rebellious.

Forever and always a Blink fan. When Travis and DJ AM were in that horrendous plane crash my Mom was Travis's burn nurse. She assisted with AM's care as well. I remember feeling very proud of her and slightly jealous that she got to be around Travis. She adored Adam (AM), spoke very highly of him, and was absolutely devastated when he passed later on. Now she's gone and I will never not think about her when I see Travis. I still have their picture they took together 🩵
This album came out when I truly became a blink fan. I'm 18 now and didn't get into music until I was 14 this was my first blink album and it has a special place in my music world. Even though their earlier album are better.
I remember when this song came out. At the time I was thinking "Music today sucks. When is Greenday going to release a new album?" Then this came out. I thought "Blink 182. Good enough for me." Then I became happy.

there are a lot of verses, melodies and arrangements reminiscent of plus 44. Just listen to the verses from bored to death, no future or san diego and compare it to songs like baby come on, lycanthrope, no it isn't from plus 44. Main difference is California has bigger catchier pop punk choruses and some straight up punk rock songs, but there's definitely some plus 44 resemblance.

-Tom can play whatever he wants as his shows. It is his right. Any band in the world can play any music they wish at their shows. That being said, I think it is in poor taste that he plays blink songs at his shows. It is disrespectful to the fans. It is disrespectful to the legacy of blink-182. He quit blink-182. How are you going to quit a band and then play that band’s songs at your shows, and keep a straight face doing it?
Travis and I could tour as blink-182 if we wished. We could hire a new guitarist and hit the road. It would be our right, since Tom quit. Of course we have no plans to do that. Blink-182 was the three of us. The whole thing would be very disingenuous. No we will not be playing blink songs at (+44) shows.

This album got a lot of flak when it first came out but it is one of my favorites. Still a quintessential Blink-182 sound while showing a growth and maturity in their themes and style. Its a good album from a great band. The sound track to my middle and high school years was Blink-182. Love these guys
