Just dropping by to say Thanks to Matt for keeping Blink alive in Tom's absence - and of course to Mark and Travis too, without question - thanks for not giving up on it! I'm also happy to say I've seen Blink live WITH Alkaline Trio opening for them back in 2001 - so I got Mark, Tom, Travis AND Matt on stage that day.

The news of Mark getting cancer has hit me so hard! My mom and my aunt both passed away from cancer and while they were sick and after they passed I would listen to Blink 182 on repeat. Headphones on, pick an album, let it play. Soundtrack of my life! For some reason, this band means more then just "a band," Blink always fells like family and made that period in time feel special to grow up in. the Tom announcement came with an announcement of a massive year-long world tour, a new single, and a new album. That doesn't all happen overnight. This has been in the works for a while, and by extension, Matt has probably known about it for a while as well.
Do I think they should say SOMETHING, even just as a word of thanks? Yeah. But I doubt this is some big blindside like others seems to believe.

Only thing I found strange is that Matt hasn’t posted anything on his Instagram for like 2 months now. I imagine it was all handled well, Matt has even called Tom a friend. Now, if Skiba says they done him dirty I make think differently about the situation. But for now, I assume there’s no bad blood.

People didn't like neighborhoods almost solely because of Tom, California took 5 years to release almost solely because of Tom. I don't think its fair to punish or criticize Mark and Travis for not changing the band name because Tom is a flaky asshole that doesn't respect his band mates or the fans of the band that's made him the money to allow him to do all the weird shit he does. Mark and Travis bust their asses for this band despite the fact that Travis almost died and Mark no longer lives in the United States. Tom may be an original member but its clear to me that Mark and Travis care more about this band than tom has in years. Maybe in the future if Tom straightens his act up and stops acting like he's been abducted by aliens or some shit he may eventually get back in the band but for now i think Skiba is as good a fit as any. He has the right voice for this band and is a solid musician.

actually if you had seen the video of tom explain he was mever home aand on tour for 2years with their last album and hated that he wasnt around for first years of her life and because the big anticipating of the California album he felt he wasnt able to fullu committed and wanting to be with his daugter and wife and wasnt fair to mark and Travis and holding back the album and he hated that he had to quit but none of tjem are mad at each other and yea I wish tom hadnt left and alot of people arent sure or dislike skiba and obviously dont sound like they were before but I love this album and still has same old riff style of dude ranch and skiba has done good on this album with all the expectations on him and if he would be able to live up to tomcand people were hating him before the album was released and things change which is Not a bad thing and the lyrics still have the meaningful messages and that we all can relate too and loved maybe instead of talking shit when instead of knowing the real reason and instantly bash tom and saying he didnt care about the band ois 30 yr friendship or the new album when he cared so much about mark and travis and the new album that all the fans have been waiting and wanting to hear so if your mad and upset tom quit the band again only few years after they had reunited after their 4yr hiatus you make assumption which obviously wernt true and he wa

This song is amazing, and Matt kept Blink 182 alive when Tom said he wanted to take a break to spend time with family then stated Angels & Airwaves. I say good luck to Tom because Matt did some amazing songs and Tom has to try and match it!

You know Bored To Death and Cynical is on the setlist for the 23-24 World Tour, and I think Tom did a great job on them. I thought it might be weird for him. But he nailed it in Nashville on Sunday. They wanted Tom out because at the end of his career he was shitty as fuck. But he did in fact make the band who it is. Matt is great, but the old Tom is irreplaceable. Especially in a song like stay together for the kids and reckless abandon.
