  • Today I'm riding the amazing Stølhøa trail in Oppdal, Norway. This is a fairly steep and rocky trail with some interesting technical challenges here and there. The upper half is the steepest and most challenging, while the lower half is mostly flowy and fun. This trail immediately became one of my favorites after this ride, and I will definitely return to ride it more. The commute to the top is quite challenging though, with around 621 meters of elevation that needs to be climbed. Around two thirds of that is pure pushbiking. This video was filmed with a GoPro 11 using custom GoPro Labs firmware for maximum quality and edited in Davinci Resolve Studio. Enjoy!

Norway definitely looks like a hidden gem for MTB. Those views are fantastic.

Wow that looks amazing, you have any strava segment or something to show start point?

Great scenery. Have you switched to hyperview?

Thanks, will have some more vids coming from this area this summer :) Still not on hyperview, but I might have messed up the zoom factors a bit. I usually use 1.556 x 1.230, but I might have accidentally set it to 1.556 x 1.200, which would add some extra "squeeze", so to speak. I'll check the settings tomorrow :)

Yes, it adds distortion but it's great for this kind of pov videos. You should try it sometime 😉.
