Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

Good shout doing your escape room reservations as soon as you got onboard. I usually try to make Speciality Dining reservations as soon as possible, but actually never think about booking entertainment - will deff take this one for cruising in the future!

Happy Birthday Brian. My wife's birthday is six days after mine. We were on Allure of the Seas for our birthdays cruise. We thought have to do that again. Were were to Alaska but not Norway yet. I think Norway will be better reason trolls. Love the video keep on making them. Oh yah when I was a 12 years old , Apollo mission when men landed on the moon since then loved space launches and its on my list.

Going on the Independence in 196 Days. We are doing it a 2 months early, because kids will be at camp, for our 20th Anniversary. Love watching all your videos, but this one was great because we will be on the ship.

I can not wait to see the Atlantis vlog! Every time we see Nassau on an itinerary we are so not excited about it. Would love to find some fun things to do to really enjoy Nassau. We are so close to being diamond on Royal and so are trying to find a few “cheap” cruises to get us there and many involve Nassau🤣.

About coming early to board the ship.On my May cruise on Harmony in Port Canaveral, OMG, on Facebook I said I arrived early before my boarding time and a bunch of people on Facebook group got all crazy on me saying "that's why the lines are so long, it was your fault", "There's a reason why everyone got a boarding time, you know", etc lol and things like that.

Interestingly salt water pools are not actually salt water. They use salt chorine generators to chlorinate nd sanitize the water. They are in fact fresh water.
We actually have the luck of living even closer to a nearby cruise port than you guys do--we’re about ten minutes north of Downtown San Diego) and yet we’ve never gotten to actually try a cruise until next month, when we’re doing a three night Mickey’s Very Merrytime Cruise to Baja California on the Disney Wonder (we also have Princess Cruises sailing from San Diego)…going to be our first cruise in over thirty years! (Although we’re trying two RCL cruises in the next two years…Alaska on the Ovation from Seattle…and then a Transpacific from Sydney to Honolulu in April 2024!)

Sorry you missed the launch. We were on the Harmony when SpaceX was launching and our ship scrubbed the launch because the captain turned the ship to get a better view and went into the red zone. Oops. Quite the disappointment.

This is a good question! Kerry likes to be laid back and Brian likes to be active, so we try to do a mix of both. By the way we answer your core memory question on day 1 of our Wish cruise!

Dinner time question!: how much on average do y’all spend on board on specialty dining, merch, etc? Currently binging all your videos 🤗 making cruise planning SO much easier!
This is a good question! We honestly don’t spend too much on board because we like to pre pay for everything before the cruise. We like doing it that way because then you don’t really need to think about the cost of excursions or dinners because you already paid for it months ago. For our Norway cruise we probably spent over $1,000 for excursions, internet, drinks, meals on the cruise planning site before the cruise. Because we pre pay, the bill at the end of our cruises is pretty small, maybe $100 or so.

Why do you have to be on airplane mode on your phone?
Some cell service providers will charge you a lot of money once you reach international waters. If you go on airplane mode, you avoid those fees!
