Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

Was on the Edge in February 2023 and this February going on Beyond because it’s 10 days. Don’t even want to do 7 days cruises anymore. Doing Eden and The Steak house on Beyond.

We did a 12 day on the Apex. We were in a suite and we love Luminae but we ended up eating at eden 4 nights. The food is fantastic.

-I’ve personally only sailed VV as an adult but after watching your glowing reviews of Royal I’m booking a cruise on Symphony! (I sailed Carnival as a kid, I have a dark past like Kerry 😂)

I'm on Apex in March. Fantastic ship! You need to go on her! I was on her last year too. They have solo infinite balconies.
You guys should do a trip to Sydney Australia and do a trip of the Ovation of the Seas to New Zealand! Experience the ship again in a new country with different foods!

Brian a friend of our families just recovered from a heart attack….while in the hospital ….he was the oldest, at 53…… the age group is younger now, because of these drinks the younger generation consumes……..it’s the new smoking to cardiologists ……very scary they should be taken off the market …….please look into this…….dont take your health for granted. Would it be accurate to say that Celebrity probably is more of an adult oriented cruise line verses some of the competitors? When I think what my family with some younger kids would like, it seems like Royal Caribbean and the more recent Carnival classes of ship should be our focus if we want something a bit more... uh... versatile ... than a floating Disney World :)
Oh man, we’re going on this in January and are having such a hard time figuring out which dining venues we should eat at. This video isn’t making it any easier.

it’s really hard to say because it seems random. slots normally rack up points quickly. but we would say just play as you normally would and hope you get lucky and get an offer. also it seems like Celebrity is giving out way more offers than Royal right now.
