Great video, definitely going to have a listen! Always struggled to properly get deep into jazz, maybe these could be a starting point for me before I work my way back in time.
Nubia’s best record (in my opinion) is the EP on Jazz Re:Freshed, Nubya’s Five. Yazz Ahmed is great. Also Cassie Kinoshi and the Seed Ensemble. Nice video and great room.
You may have them but Rosie Turton, Sarathy Korwar, Ill Considered, Anthony Joseph, Nat Birchall and Nerija are all also great as well, definitely worth a listen. Like you say, so many great musicians make great music in the UK at the moment.
What was the name of the third album you showed with the Bahraini influence. That one really intrigued me due to the world music type feel Enjoyed this, some cool albums
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 this track is pretty indicative of Yazz’s stuff. Check it out: th-cam.com/video/pMXXIeWo0BE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=T1R40RK4S42r_lG3

All new to me, which just shows the depth of talent in the UK.
Is it Friday night? Feels like Sunday. 😅
