Actually really like the image when the key light didn’t fire! This is cool. Did a lot of flash blur stuff with a hotshot flash on a sync cord years ago for nightclub type work. Could be fun to experiment with it again.
In the tagline description, you mentioned using rear curtain sync. I am on the R3 and using the Five heads. I don't think we have an option to use 2nd curtain or rear sync, right? You're just pressing the shutter button and moving the camera I think. I've done this on the dance floor at weddings for years but wanting to take it to my Sportraits with high school athletes now.

Hi Alison, The second curtain function is in my flash trigger and I am moving the camera during the exposure to create the streaks.
Curious how one would pull this off in an outdoor situation like almost high noon 🤔
Its probably next to impossible. No problem at night.
