there are toothpick frames 4'' and 5'' out there with motors that need this kind power and this product size at a budget price would be awesome !!
Are there any pads (TX, RX) on this board for a GPS unit? Can the GPS be wired on the TX1, RX1 pads (I need GPS rather than smart audio). When you review FC boards and the connections could you also include wiring for GPS. Thanks.
just to let you know I ran several 3040x3 or 3x4x3 props on 1306 4000kv motors just fine, then tried to run HQ 4x4.3x3 props on 407 3300kv motors and smoked the board trying to use turtle mode.

I’m trying to get the sbus working for dji , it works with spektrum but that means another receiver when I can just use the dji controller . Any help would be great. I double checked my configurator and it’s on uart 2

Piece of junk. It lasted 2 weeks before it started shooting itself to the moon and the yaw axis doesn't work in Betaflight setup tab. I didn't crash it, I didn't get it wet. It flew perfectly for 2 weeks then today I go to fly it and it's dangerous and unflyable. Piece of junk.
Is the 5V BEC power full enough to power up a Walksnail 1S unit? Has somebody tried Walksnail digital on this FC?

Excellent review. My question is how would you connect a GPS unit (5v) to this FC? I have XM+ receiver which I only want to connect with SBUS, Flywoo VTX (and I don't need smart audio), a Foxeer camera (standard 3 wire), and a buzzer.
Just a note: I really love the videos you do where you draw lines (different colors) from a component to the FC showing precisely where to make the connection. Thank You.

Well, I finally broke down and ordered one of the 30A boards (they have a 20A for a few bucks cheaper.) I couldn't resist, they have them on Aliexpress for $29.99 shipped. Hope it actually makes it to the US and actually works. Will probably be going into a 4 inch Twig.

i used this board in a x-night 5". pyro hyperlights 2205/2522kv. i even run tri blade props on it and takes it like a champ. i was honestly shocked. ive probably got about 20-25 packs ran through it and not a single problem.

I tried this board on 5inch and 2207 motors .It held up for about a week with light acro. I was very surprised how well this board did. Also great video

I have tried to make soft serial work to add a gps, but I have had no luck. I am thinking the default pinout is not completely accurate.
I bought 2 of these boards. I can't get either one to work with a sbus receiver. Wired as called for in the video. Receiver is verified working on another fc. Uart 1 set to serial rx. Serial RX and Sbus selected on configuration page. I'm stumped. Anyone get this to work with a sbus receiver?
same situtatoin did you try Uart 2 set to serial rx? i cant get mine to work with sbus at all either
@@AlessandroGarabaghi I got it to work on uart 2. You can only have a single uart selected for serial rx or it won't work. That screwed me up for a while.
@@michaelfredricks2286 u switch wire between vtx goes to uat1 and rx goes to uat2? Whill this work. Im not able to send signal into betaflight. Even it bind. After 1st plug in it work normally. When i pull the lipo plug while arming. This happens to me. Im outta ideas wth is wrong. Then i testing my rx it work on 5 inch quad.

Be sure you only have uart 2 for serial rx selected in the ports page if you select both uarts it wont work. And sbus or whatever your using in configuration page.
Hello has anybody tried to connect F.Port to this board? I don`t get VFAS back to the radio, but LUA is working to change PIDs. My receiver is a RXSR F.Port LBT. Wire soldered on P pad of receiver and TX1 of the FC. CLI commands are according to the MATEK page
If I'm using this board with a caddx vista and an r9 receiver, is there still a leftover uart? Somebody please help! The caddx uses for instance tx1 and rx1 and the r9 receiver uses 5v, ground, and sbus, does that mean that rx2 and tx2 are still available for like a gps?
Can you bridge front and back sets of motor pads together but NOT pads to each side. Just struggling to solder motor wires to 1 set of pads

I can't seem to figure out the Smartaudio on this aio board.. what uart is the sbus pad ?
I think the 30A is aimed at the 4" and 5" TWIG/Toothpick class. The ET5 by Racer X FPV for instance would benefit from a 30a board.

Has anyone been able to get there Nano Crossfire RX to bind to this thing. Tried two different boards and two different RX I can’t get it to bind to save my life. I’m getting a slow then steady fast green led. I’ve tried the 5V pad and the 4.5 pad. I’m knocking my head against the wall.

Great vid as always! Thanks! So the toothpick class is very interesting in times of harder drone regulations, it would be nice to have a comparison of AIO boards for it. I tried 3 of them, and none was really satisfying. Tested 3 and got: quality issues (ESC defective right out of the box), slow ESC FET/driver section (high deadtime) or the board is very hard to tune with Betaflight 4.x or newer, maybe caused by a bad layout in terms. So comparing them under identical conditions in a real setup would be nice.
Heads up, my 20a version had dead motor 2 output. Everything else pretty good. Pads are pretty thin as well, like the old brushed boards. Luck o the draw I guess...
same here, 20A, motor output 2, i think i blew the esc while tried to wiggle out of a tree, but i still can see and flash all 4 esc's in BL HELI ,

I will try this board on a AOS frame 3.5' with 1404 motors at 4S..... weights aprox. 200g in total. Looks ideal for the job.

I got mine today and I'm having issues with my xm+ receiver connected to sbus. I have bound the radio to the xm+, have enabled serial sbus mode and tried both UART 1 and UART 2. any Ideas??

@@DroneMesh I soldered it to the wrong pad, as the text is under the pads and I thought it was over them. It's just rx2 I soldered it to though so should be fine once I change it out.

Could you do review on racerstar Rev 35A esc 4 in 1, you have literally reviewed every esc but a stress test of racerstar Rev 35A will be very helpful specially on 6s
it explodes at like 15amps, don't buy it. I bought 3 of them, right now only one works but I gave it away to a friend for free because it's too unreliable for me to use on a quad.

Connected this board with a r-xsr receiver and still... doesn't want to work. Did you get chance to try this board? I mean to fly with it...

Yes I have both 20a/30a and solder pads layout are the same
This AIO should at least handle 14xx-15xx to be interesting. They supply a XT60, someone's gonna try it with 22XXs.
There are others have already tried a aio 20a board on 5". I happen to have this board 30a version on my X-Knight 5" with 1806 2500kv on 4s and so far not a single problem.
I run 2203 fpv cycle motors on this board. 4”.
@@brandohim Those new 2203 and 2204s are what was missing for 4in quads. We finally have new props to chose from too.

Fport is just upgraded SBUS so yes, you can on SBUS pad
@@gorandukic5278 Well, I disagree, then you'll get only the control link out of it. For the full F-port potential an inverted tx pad is required (for telemetry and RSSI)
@@fpvlive sorry was too quick, didn't use it for a while. If you have F3 or F7 FC you can connect S.Port pin fron RX to any TX pin on FC. In case of F4 FC it gets complicayed as you need inverted S.Port so either inverted S.Port pad on RX (as eg R9MM rx has) or dedicated S.Port pad on FC. Also there are CLI commands to adjust. @@gorandukic5278 While you CAN run just that, you want to run it onto a Tx port to get telemetry.
Do an Uninvert Hack on the receiver, and run that into the Tx like it's CRSF - then party on.
