- Street interviews in Phnom Penh to see how we can stay out of trouble in the capital city of Cambodia.
📍| This is filmed in Phnom Penh Cambodia, Near the Royal Palace; goo.gl/maps/AiZM95HYntQ81umx9
The main point:
- Keep an eye on your belongings at all times. Don't bring any valuables to the beach
- Don’t leave anything near an open window
- Don't get too drunk
- Don't try to rush the locals
- Avoid the riverside after midnight
- When getting a message, just bring the amount you'll need to pay for it. (Don’t bring your phone).

I lived in Thailand for 5 years never had a problem. Now living in Cambodia for 13 years. also never had a problem. Just use common sense, anywhere in the world.
Perfect ❤️ thank you for sharing your experience
I’ve visited Thailand many times and got scam few times.
@@babibabo8965 I got scammed once at the mall and my bag stolen once in the bathroom in a mall, because I was not keeping an eye on it.
@@babibabo8965for me, 20 years in Thailand and never been scammed but then went to Cambodia twice and got scammed both times by taxi and massage. After that I was researching about massage scams in Cambodia and man I found out that lots of people experienced the same scams😅
Men are more of a target for certain crimes. Purse snatching, of course, more of a crime against women. I was just looking at flights to Cambodia. But after hearing about the crime problem, I will not be going. I ride a bicycle an average of 20-30 miles a day. I thrive on quality massage 2-3 times a week WITHOUT the rub-and-tug nonsense. If two different people complain about thieving massage girls in a short video, then it has to be widespread. I will not tolerate people stealing from me. For the health and well-being of Cambodian thieves, it is best that I just stay away.
Phnom Penh massage,
a few advices / warnings:
If you think keeping your bag / wallet beside you on the bed is safe, instead of using the mini wardrobe as they want you to do during massage, you’re wrong as there are small shutters on the walls in most massage rooms. During massage the massage lady will turn on music and somehow try to make you lose sight and hold of your bag / wallet. Throw any of those shutters some of her friends will then steal from you.
If you’re clever, if they don’t succeed in stealing from you, they will usually find any excuse to quickly finish the massage, asking you to pay whatever price you agreed on or more.
Getting your money and values back like Jet Solo does in one of his very good video ( thank you Jet Solo ! ) is to my knowledge very rare. You will more likely end up in a Phnom Penh hospital or worse.
Some of these salons are of course less bad than others. However, none of them are good, as far as I know.
Thank you Chai travel, very good video!
I appreciate your input there 😊 thank you too! 😁
And whatever happens in one of these saloons, you will most likely lose as you are alone, they are not.
Go to the nice massage parlors(Bodia and Kunthea) were good, its still way cheaper than the west and better too. If you go to the shady ones, don't carry too much money with you.
Thanks for this one Chai. I do enjoy the format you have chosen and you are successful at engaging people resulting in interesting content. I had missed this one previously. I'm focused on Cambodia (lived in Thailand 11 years, have Thai daughter) where I intend to move in early December.
I appreciate your work. Your approachability makes these work.
I appreciate that! Thanks for saying that and hopefully I’ll be able to carry on doing what we’re doing for much longer. Have a beautiful day 🏆 cheers!

As an Australian who travels there a lot , I find it a safe place but there are things you need to be aware of. The people are friendly and happy
Nicely said :) that’s why I made this video
What things should I be aware of?
The main thing is while on tuk tuk make sure you don’t have your belongings easy to reach . People on scooters will reach and grab and gone into traffic . Get money from an atm that is not stand alone but attached to a bank . 2 of the common ones

I love the last elder advice ( Don't be nervous and slowly ). People here are taking everything slowly even talking and doing things, except some new generation like me love doing fast as i can.
Mee too :) sometimes we forget to take things easy. Let’s all slow down a little 🤪
I was last there in 2010 and it felt safe at that time. However, trash pickup was not very regular so the entire town smelled a bit unpleasant. I'm wondering if that has changed?
Ey Daniel, it’s a lot better than 2010 but rubbish and littering is still a big problem in the whole of Cambodia I’m afraid. With that been said, it’s still a beautiful country to visit ☺️

Take care of yourself and ❤ and be careful of everywhere 🙏♥️
I stayed 1,5 months in Cambodia in early 2020, and mostly Phnom Penh and had more trubbel in Norway than in Cambodia. Felt very safe, most dangerous is stray dogs and annoying was greedy tuk tuk drivers.
"Dave does Cambodia" just had a bad incident with a dog. His GF was walking in a dark alley late at night and got bit by a stray dog. She had to get the 3 seperate rabies injections. It ended up being $30. In Thailand they charge you $600 for rabies shots.
@@MyLifeThai371rabbies vaccine in Cambodia costs only 15$ for 3 shots at Pasteur Phnom Penh. Some private clinic would cost 30$ for 3 shots.
I lived in Phnom Penh for 10 yrs...its safe!!!! There are worse cities in the world...😢
Yes there are. And it’s definitely safe. You just need to be aware of your belongings. Especially at night. Thanks for watching 🙏
Been to Cambodia 15 times over 10 yrs and have never had any bad experiences. I have traveled through more than 25 countries around the world. Cambodia is one of the safest places I’ve been.
Bangkok devloped 120 year different Phnom Penh devloped 26 year after end of civil war 1997. many people not know a bout this.
Time aren't equal? History become one part of present
How to make people and the country smoothly and happy, it is ability and skill too.
(1) if you are a tourist, just be a tourist and don't get involve with politic. (2) show some respect to the nation culture and religion. (3) do not abuse the country rule of law. In another word just enjoy your vacation and go home safely to your family.
Did you watch the video? There wasn't anything about tourist abusing the local culture or religion. It was mostly about the crime problem in Cambodia.
Great country love it
Well, as a Cambodian what I can say is just that - like what they mentioned in the video, use our common sense. If you go to a cheap massage parlor, you might be scammed, but if you go to a nice proper one, this is lesslikely happen. Same when you go around in the city and waving your bag and stuff you might get them snatched too. Because there are still tiny percentage of rotten Cambodian as well. Generally and unbiasedly, Phnom Penh is safe.

Have you ever heard of people being kidnapped for ransom in the Philippine?
Nice information vlog #phnumpenh
Hey Champ, i've been watching your latest videos from afar. First comment for quite a while & it's great that you're doing well.
What people are saying about Phnom Penh is making me feel it's less safe than say 'Bkk' & wonder why this is the case. More poverty overall, less wages for workers, more people not working etc?
Great to catch up, take it easy in Cambodia 😊
There he his! 😜 yeah I think more poverty and less protection from police I’m afraid 😅
Best advice “ just go to Thailand “!😊
You must love it ;)
How long you stay in Cambodia?
For a good 4 weeks🙏 I really love it here. The people are great. The food is good ❤️🇰🇭
I'm American and live in Phnom Penh now. It's safer than the American city I come from. The only thing to worry about really is bag snatchers when you're on the TukTuk.
Aah good. I think Phnom Pen is safe to. Only watch your phone and pockets when you’re in curtain areas. Ones you leave the city I find it extremely safe :)
@Daniel-ve8yr Thanks for the advice. I'm living in Thailand. Here is some advice for anyone who thinks they might want to come to Thailand. My first trip to Thailand was back in 2012. Crime is starting to creep up here. Just a couple weeks ago, someone from the USA was walking around for 3 days randomly stabbing people with a knife before they caught him. I ride a bicycle 20-30 miles a day around Chiang Mai. I now have to cover my face with a ski mask and wear long sleeves and pants to prevent being harassed. Drunks and low-grade people will curse at me and blow their horn just for riding my bike down the edge of the road. Why do I cover all of my skin? I'm white as a piece of paper. If I cover my skin, both tourist and locals think I'm a Thai person riding a bicycle and they won't bother me. Local food carts attached to motorbikes can drive without lights, license plates, or turn signals and no one blows their horn or screams at them. These food carts will pull out into traffic and travel at something like 10-15 mph on a busy highway. They obstruct traffic and cause accidents across Thailand, but nothing is done about. But I can ride a $3,000 bicycle down the edge of the road at 25-30 MPH (following all traffic laws) and I get harassed. I've gone weeks with my skin covered and not one horn blow or anyone cursing me. I tried taking my ski mask off yesterday so I could be more comfortable. I kid you not, within about 5-6 minutes the horn blowing started. I won't try taking it off again. It's the same result every time. I will be happy when Thailand is in my rearview mirror for the last time.
Well come all the people in the world
Your content different from others tourist , i love it let see your next video( Did you joined SEA game opening ?) ..., now maybe you are in Vietnam right...?

Bad and good people are living everywhere. Not only in Cambodia. Sometimes poverty can cause many problem. It’s just a simple case. If Cambodia isn’t the safety place, you might not filming and talking freely in the capital.
I’m Australian but half my family have loved in Cambodia for past 15 years and it’s very safe. Massages are a bit dodge so just do your research
Last time I been there, I very upset of lost my cammera in the hotel, no one can help me. No blame becasue I used to have same experience more than 15 years ago in Malaysia as well,
No way?! I’m so sorry to hear that. Hopefully that would never happen again ❤️ thanks for watching
As the topic about “Trouble”, don’t expect about good comments. How ever, criminals, pick pocket happen all around the world. But, nearly 40 years, I’ve never heard about GTA, big robbery, never had bank robbery, no gun murder, no terrorism. It might not be the safest place, but I do fell safer more and more all around the country. I’ve been to few countries, I see and feel not safe like Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Malaysia. I felt safer in Singapore, Korea & Japan. And I thought US was the safest country in the world.
Any way, thank you for your informative videos. Good luck
Thanks for your input ther Kim :) Criminals are everywhere indeed. To be honest if you just watch your stuff Phnom Penh is still a great place to visit. And Cambodia and it's people are great overall :D Thanks for watching 🏆
Local here are mostly friendly just be bit aware of the traffic people here don’t really respect any sign. Others that just enjoy cheers.
Ow traffic too 😅 everyone drives on the right side 😝 but we feel super welcome here and we’re having a great time ❤️ thanks for watching

due to the inflation and other problem which cause the rise of snatcher . be careful with ur stuff when u walk along the road or staying in crowd place. especially at night
Thank you for explaining ❤️ we be careful
Not because of inflation. It has always been like this.
Curtis doesn’t have a clue. Lived in Cambodia for 4 years. Never once had any issues. No theft. No trouble. No danger. Cambodia people are some of the nicest people I have ever come across but treat them with respect and they will do the same. If you’re out and about being “yobbish”, shouting, thinking you can do what you like.. then there is trouble.
I think he has. Have you lived 4 years in Phnom Penh? If so you know there are a lot of pickpockets and a lot of the massage shops can be dodgy. No offense. All my locals khmer friend are warning me about this problem in Phnom Penh 🙏
@@Chai_Travel Sure have, from 2016 - 2020. Planning on coming back September this year. Yeah, the massage places are dodgy, only take enough money for the massage. But in normal day to day life you wont run into any issues. Also, if its your thing and you take back a girl, don't leave money/valuables laying around.
@@walkingtours02Nah mate... just cause you been fortunate enough to never experience any problems in PP, doesn't mean that they don't exist. On my second day in Cambodia I had a motorbike rider try to snatch my phone while I was sitting down on a bench at the riverside promenade, opposite 7 eleven with a police car parked right across the street! I was lucky because I always stay alert so the thief only managed to smack my phone out of my hand and dropped it on the floor. So the guy kept driving, stopped about 20 meters away, gave me the middle finger and drove off again. I crossed the street and there was a bunch of police officers drinking outside of a bar. I explained what happened to me and they did absolutely nothing. So Phnom Penh is far from safe, imo... and I been to dangerous countries like Colombia and Mexico and never experienced anything like that. Not saying Cambodia is as dangerous as Colombia or Mexico but there are dangers to be aware of.
I've gotten at least 200 massages over the years in Thailand. Not once did any girl try to steal my stuff. You dont have a CLUE... Fooooooool.... As a former officer and prosecutor learning local crime patters is everything for safe travel.... Shut your ignorant mouth.... Your "isolated" experience means NOTHING to me Sis !
Phnom Penh is super safe as long as you live correctly. The moment you get crazy drunk or do something out of the box it’s super dangerous 😅
So I'm a little confused because I work with Cambodians and I see videos of Cambodia and they always portray it as extremely busy and yet the roads seem kind of calm. What's the story?
Ow no, it’s not extremely busy. This video was filmed in Phnom Penh.
People said they like to use a fishing pole to fish your pants through the bars of the window of your hotel.
Better close your windows and make sure they are locked. Or hide your belongings
No positive vibes there champ from every interviewee involved. Were you pre warned of the concerns there (feedback from the Scottish lad) or researched yourself? At least you and Ilona will consciously be on guard whilst there and stay safe. Looking forward to your adventures just the same and hopefully a whole lot of positivity with future interviews. My mate is back in Australia from there in the last few days and I'm walking with him on Saturday so I'll be interested to hear what he found whilst there. I'll let you know. I had no idea that Phnom Penh had any safety issues for the unsuspecting tourist, just thought it was rather run down looking. Great work as always champ 🤩

They make littie travel backpacks that have special clasps that aren't easily opened, have tear proof fabric, etc (pacsafe brand, i think). In my Opinion, Bangkok is more Safe as Cambodja. 🙏
Hmmm depending on where in Bangkok and where in Cambodia I think ;)
Brother, Cambodia was in war a few years ago, of course Thailand will be safer right now. Cambodia is coming back on its legs
Bangkok is safer than the U.S.A. I have walked in dark alleys at 2 a.m. before and never worried about someone following me with a pipe to beat and rob me. Manila, Philippines was a different story though.

So can't go to get a massage in Combodia 😮😮? Because you get pickpocketed 😢😢. Too bad, I am staying in Thailand then 🤓🤓
Nah you’ll be fine in Cambodia. But you just have to be a bit careful.
There needs to be some clarification here. The legit massage parlors in Cambodia are perfectly safe and they are all over the place. They are talking about the hole in the wall places where a good massage is the last thing on their minds. More of a happy ending parlor then massage parlor. If that's your thing go for it, but to compare basically a whore house with the hundreds of legit massage parlor is a bit a much.
You have to have no street sense to get in trouble in Cambodia...
1. "I left my stuff unattended on a beach and someone stole it." Could happen anywhere. Who leaves stuff unattended on the beach in any country?
2. "I left my ground floor window open and something got taken." Could happen lots of places, not just Cambodia. Common sense, my guy.
3. "Don't walk around with a camera, because you'll be robbed." B.S. I'm also a TH-cam who does mostly Cambodia videos and nobody has *ever* tried to take my camera or be anything except friendly.
4. "This place is quite dangerous." "Oh, have you had trouble?" "Well, no, no trouble."
5. "Don't get a massage." What you should say is "Don't get a massage in a brothel."
6. "Don't go to Riverside after midnight." "You've been to Riverside after midnight?" "Well, no."
👍
@Chai_Travel I'm just hearing a lot of people saying "I only heard it was unsafe" or "I did something no sensible traveler would do."@@Chai_Travel
Sit out on the riverside after 11pm, see what happens
Yeah, better avoid that area at night :)
Still safer than London or Paris 😂 there’s no safe city in South East Asia except Singapore!
Yea but singapore so boring just a small island..
There's few Overpriced dodgy hotels in Singapore..
Dam now im paranoid to go for massage
Just don’t bring more money than you need to and if you have experience belongings, leave them in your hotel and you'll be fine :)
More easy to be in TROUBLE in Cambodia than Thailand/ Indonesia? wow
I’d say so yes but only in Phom Penh and Sihanoukville. The rest of Cambodia is very safe to travel
@@Chai_Travel I have another question, maybe you know something about this, if I go to Cambodia I will need to send packages (my paintings) to the United States and Europe. Do you know if this will be easy or complicated? In some countries it is complicated but from Asia it is usually easy
@@Chai_Travel well now we are in Brasil and before in Argentina,I think just need to be a bit careful 🙏🏻 I never had any bad experience and travel around more than 50 countries, only in India I could say is where can be more complicated and need to fight many times 🤣
These people stereotype Cambodia. This video is totally unfair to the great people of Cambodia.
No one is stereotyping in this video. Almost everyone is saying to just use common sense. Unfortunately there is a lot of theft in the capital. This video is just making people aware of it so everyone can come to Cambodia without having bad experiences. I love Cambodia and I hope more tourist will visit in the future.

Listen my friend, Chai is a travel vlogger and when he came to south east asia every traveler just expect that atleast every countries around here should be similar because it's just the next country from Thailand where he have been living so he compared Cambodia to Thailand and he just talking about "how safe!!!" and this topic is the most important for any tourists and it's really make sense to compare!!! and for me I think it's a little rude to tell the famous travel influencers to did this and not did that like a child. and while he talking about safety in your country?? just felt like the communist country because no respectful in the vibe even in the youtube comment section.
And the most weird thing was you seems really care about your country look but did not seems to care about the problems in your country. That's really weird for me.
Now I understand why all of the foreigners in the video were just talking about thief, steal, and really want to go out from the country.
tell people to open mind not to compare????
Better solve the problem in your country first my friend, believe me.
I hope your country could solve this problem as soon as possible so the tourists would feel free to explore your beautiful country.
Lo budget travelers aka nitwits.
The first guy said what new travelers would do “Use common sense” there’s always pickpockets and some unknown bad things happening after the midnight and of course, it’s always safe to stay where you’re staying and safe rather roaming around after midnight.
As humans living around the world, there’s always bad people and good people, so use common senses to take care of yourself
Cambodia a lot of trouble because Covid-19 crisis hits economic 2020-2021, a lot of people lose their job, a hundreds skyscraper in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville on hold and delay until 2022. Ecomic of Cambodia start growth on March 2023.
3$ billion of Phnom Penh international air port under construction, Cambodia will be direct fly in last 2024 no need tranfer at Bangkok anymore.
Siem Reap international air port under construction with 1.5$ billion.
Cambodia ready to build sky train, fast train, under ground train in 2024 with 4$ billion.
a lot of investor come from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan build a hundreds skyscraper in Phnom Penh you know, but Thai news fake to call Cambodia skyscraper build by China 😅😊
Claimbodia always be lie🤮🤮🤮
The whole world got hit financially by the COVID situation. That doesn't excuse criminal behavior. I've gotten at least 200 massages over the years in Thailand. Not once did any girl try to steal my stuff. If two different people complain about thieving massage girls in a short video, then it has to be widespread. I will not tolerate people stealing from me. For the health and well-being of Cambodian thieves, it is best that I just stay away.
Keep off the ice and you'll be fine.
🤪
The way you stay safe is by not going to Cambodia at all.
If you wanna be totally safe… never leave home 😅
Don't say use common sense, cuz common sense isn't common
It's a Super Power!
Ok. I understand the massage places are no good. How are the girly bars? Same scams? Or better?
I don’t know sorry.
คุณชัย ประเทศไทยก็อันตรายมากนะครับ
ขอบคุณ. ผมคิดว่าประเทศไทยก็ปลอดภัยเช่นกัน
😧
I feel like you're trying hard with your questioning to garner a negative response. As the first person said, use common sense, you can get robbed in any country.
Not trying hard at all Keny. Everyone including the locals are trying to help each other out. To make people aware about the high amount of theft in this city. Obviously it’s a big city but especially in south East Asia, Phnom Penh is not the safest place
@@Chai_Travel you have negative perception of Cambodia because of your Thai influence. This is not reality.
@@mhouse1572 I don’t have a negative perspective at all. I love Combodia. Why do you think I’ve a negative perspective? I do believe there is more theft in Phnom Penh. People should be aware about this, so people don’t come on holiday to this beautiful country and have anything stolen of them.
All the locals have been warning me about theft in Phnom Penh for the very beginning of my stay. I don’t think it’s fair of you to say I’m negative about Cambodia because I’m not negative about the county and its people at all. Khmer people are lovely, helpful, and welcoming to me. So far we love it so much.
@@mhouse1572 yes😂 I feel like you brother, I know many of foreigners in Thai when they want to talks about Cambodia they will try to fight for bad things as Thai people did to our country (especially TH-camr😂) will Thai pay for them to do that😂
@@Chai_Travel I'm from Malaysia i live here in cambodia for 5 year i never had a problem at all . But why some foreigner com from Thailand always say bad things about Cambodia because you married a Thai girl so you promote tourists for Thailand , I love cambodia people Because they never say anything bad about neighbour ..good and bad people everywhere not only in cambodia even your country too
You are framing this as if Phnom Penh is current day Damascus. It is kinda ridiculous. Nowhere is dangerous in SE Asia in 2023, apart from Kho Tao, obviously.
Nah mate. Koh Tao is not dangerous either…
Cambodia is the least safe country in South East Asia particularly at night. People always get their purse snatched. Recently a Thai girl got her bag snatched and was seriously injured. It happens daily. th-cam.com/users/shorts4AB2ze-otSU
NOT Safest one women says hahahah aaaahhaha... Its super safe today super safe! In 1998- 1999 when I went first time. Then guys rode around bikes with AK47 and murder was sky high, like 20-30 murders a week in the capitol, its nothing today compared, that time I was even warned in Bangkok to go to Cambodia, just a few years since the last Red Khmer attack on the Airport. So I think if people hear, not so safe, its suuuuper safe today! Its much more not safe in like, NYC, Rio, Capetown, PP is much safer much! I love it how people try to still ride the wave of 80-90is today and beeing like " A been to cambodia I survived it!" Or buying a shirt like, "Off the beaten track Cambodia" There is nothing like that anymore in Cambodia, just travel it like its Thailand because thats what it is, not adventures at all anymore, just, safe, relaxed and all connivances is around... not 15 hours with 20 people on sacks of rice bumping from Siem Reap to Phnom pehn on a "highway 1" that was just dust and potholes, firstt ime I got my Ischias after that trip almost broke my back, And becuase it was so bumpy and 20 people behind on a normal size, Izusu pickup open back, the car broke many times so of course it cost 25 dollar, for a white man and 5 for Cambodian, I didnt have a problem with that, The people was suuuper poor, and I was happoy I paid more then them. That was one of hundreds of real adventures at that time in Cambodia. I think today I honestly would not set foot in Cambodia, you get all the things plus more ion Vietnam and Thailand.
I got my gear pedal of my off road bike stuck in my foot after a crash, in the Clinic I came to, there were cats on the hospital beds, there were Chickens in the Kitchen connected to patient rooms.... I was just laughing how cool it was, (of course sad for people who didnt have the money to get serious help like in Thailand), but at that time there was NO real professional Hospital in all of Cambodia in 1999, I am not joking, the country was still a Failed state if you got super sick, you had to go to Thailand 100%!
in 1999, I got sourounded 1 time with 3 guys with AK47, robbed, I got a 22 mm, gun to my head bu a 12 years oldf in a car! One Police cheif tried drunk to steal my GF, and to show coolness he put his Beretta 9 mm, on the table at the beach bar, but then calmed down after I spoke a few Russian word, he spoke only Khmer, French and Russians, like many educated Red Khmer educated in Russia then took Police work after civil war. In Phnom penh stayed in 1999 for about 2 weeks and about 6 foreigners got murdered in one week! Now alomst never happens! hahaha
I don’t see how this is anyway funny.
@@Chai_Travel It was not funny, but as a documentary photographer its of interest.
I was robbed at the river it's extremely dangerous they came up on me and stole my phone. My friends room was broken into and passport, phone and money was taken at Golden Home Hotel on 172 Street
I’m sorry to hear that 😕 I especially made this video so it might happen a bit less. I hope you’re doing okay again 🙏
What time did this happen?
Did your friend have a room safe?
Did they use a weapon?
Never had the desire to visit Cambodia, and this video helps affirm that.
You don't need to come to Cambodian, now it is becoming hustle.
Even as a local, I need to be extremely smart in order to survive lmao.
Nah mate, you’ll love it over here. Maybe not so much Phnom Penh though. But I’m sure some parts you’ll love
Did you know Vietnam tried to invarded Thailand when they took over Cambodia in 70's, so if Cambodia haven't stand between these two, there will not be any Thailand and you be living a sad, depression life in America.
@@jetfighter8332 I wouldn't think Vietnam can win against Thailand.
Thailand has fought a direct war with Cambodia.
But Vietnam always used dirty trick and even French had sign half of Cambodia land to them.
Hey but it is in the past, no need to think about it because Cambodia is striving, old stupid people are dying and a new generation that strives for the future is rising.
@@visalserei a lot of stupid people all over the world.

Okay
Very narrow minded and judgmental people… I have been to Cambodia from five times, I have great experience. My mom was in Thailand airport, a woman asked she could help carry her bags. The Thai woman forced my mom to give $300 to get her bags back. This is a scam video.
I’m sorry about your moms bags and the bad experiences. If you listen good to what everyone says you may wouldn’t judge this video in this way 🙏 theft is more common in capital cities everywhere in the world. Everyone in this video had a similar message: be aware of your surroundings and use common sense.
300 usd? 😮
you are lying Creambodia . That is the matter of your country.
@@phunina4137I am American, you Thailies..
@@keepintouchthailand9983 Yep, $300 USD… don’t ever let anyone (women or men) carry your carryon bags..
Cambodia is not dangerous at all. Just be street smart, that's it... and don't act like a fool or a sex tourist.
This video is wrong on so many levels. It's highlighting something that should be applied to all countries and cities, not just Phnom Penh. Dumb, scaremongering video created simply for views. 0 substance.
Sorry, I’ve just made this video so tourist are more aware of the high theft rate in this city. I agree more city have problems with theft all around the world. Not just Phnom Penh. Saying it’s “dumb” I find it a bit offensive as I’m working hard on a series of episodes to show how amazing Cambodia is. I’m truly sorry you’ve got offended by this videos. 🙏
I think it's an informative video that is Phnom Penh specific for people who want to visit there but would also apply to many other cities around the world. I don't think he's trying to bash the Khmer people or the country.
No thief in thailand?
Thief’s are in all big cities around the world…
There are kind of thief videos in Thailand, all you have to do is search 🔎 🔎 stop Thai the world.
