It's been happening for a while
And not just re-uploads, but I'll find the same stories, in the same order, on another channel sometimes. Like the same script was used and just recorded by different people and posted on their separate channels. Still entertaining enough to play, and repeat stories are boring enough to sleep to. Sorta win-win in my case lol
My 25th year on this rock. Paid off my mortgage, had a heart attack three weeks later. Then my dog died. We got a puppy, I passed my driving test and got my first car, a big old Cadillac that I crashed into my own living room after the alternator caught fire. Pupper was fine. Repaired the car and the bay window and took the car for the MOT inspection, failed majorly. So I starting repairing the car, ended having a double back operation to remove a massive infection that put me put me out of work for 8 months. Sick pay was terrible, no other financial assistance and drained all my savings. Back at work just before my 26th birthday and the place closed down for full demolition and rebuild that took 6 months. Got the car back on the road at least and is still going 14 years later.
me personally? too many to even remember, the charger from my 3DS broken, I bought a new one, lost the game, turn my bedroom upside-down to find it, I found it a month later in the living room, without the SD card, I found it last week, the charger I've bought months ago is nowhere to be found, currently looking
you can replace anything in that story with anything else and that's the story of my life! my PC's ram is dying? bought another, then there was a power surge and broken my monitor, and soon my SSD and HDD is doing something, I can feel it
my bedframe is about to give in and my desk / dresser combo is full of those wood-eating bugs (I forgot the name) I'm pretty sure one will fall after I replace the other
but if I had to pick one, I guess it was the story of the car my father desperately wants to fix, his look of defeat was priceless when it happened
he had this GEO Storm for almost 20 years now, I hardly call it a project car, but he doesn't want to give up and sell it for parts when it was still worth the parts, and I hardly think will worth selling it for scraps if he keeps it any longer
in the area where we lived, they can barely find an incompetent mechanic, he would gladly pay 250$ for an oil change if there was any mechanic that had the bare minimum skill to do it, the car was stopped in the same spot for years, he managed to get all the parts to fix it, and he was able to drive it around for a few weeks, only to go over a pothole a little too fast and in an odd way, and that caused it to sit there broken it for years all over, and guess what? the small piece he needed that was so hard to find? he found it, held on to it for months until he found a semi-competent mechanic to at least give a look and try to figure out, he didn't even got to look under the hood, he handed over the part to the mechanic while he was about to open the hood, the mechanic dropped the part and shattered it in front of his eyes
the look of dejection on my father was enough to make the devil himself to feel sorry for him, you know, the actual devil that

My husband and I booked reservations in a tourist town in our state in mid September so we wouldn’t have to deal with the normal crowds and unbearable heat we’d experienced there in the past. We get there, and there are crowds of people everywhere. It was the town’s annual end to the tourist season, and we didn’t know they held that festivity. On our third day there, we were hit head on by a drunk driver. My husband’s head went through the windshield and he had blood running down into his face. Except for my hysterics at the shock of the hit and my husband’s bleeding head, I was okay. The nearest hospital was approximately 20 miles away and we were taken to it in separate ambulances. As we pass a field, several deer run into the road and one hits the ambulance. All I could think of at that moment was the my life really sucked. My husband and I are examined and I’m black and blue from the seatbelt pressure. My husband received twelve stitches and the hospital releases us. Now we are 20 miles from our motel room, it’s after midnight, and no taxis run at that hour or until 7:00 am. So we figure we’ll just sit in the hospital until 7:00 am. Hospital says we can’t do that. I started to cry because what were we going to do? My car had been totaled by the drunk driver, we were in the middle of nowhere with a 20 mile hike looming. Someone in the hospital contacted the tow truck driver and asked if he could come pick us up and take us to our motel, which he did and for which we were so grateful. In the morning our brother-in-law and his mom drove three hours to pick us up and bring us home. I then found out that the police had lost my purse so I had to close out my credit cards and get new ones and had to go to the DMV for a replacement license. Two days later the police found my purse and sent it to me. The straps broke in the accident and I just threw everything away. The universe was out to get me, bigtime!
My "the universe is fucking with me" story:
Back in April, a friend of mine got really sick. She had vertigo all the time and was just in a poor state. I took her to the ER, and after she got home, I decided to take her a meal before my shift at work. I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment, but work was within walking distance, so I just headed to my shift. While I was at work, I got a call from an officer letting me know that my car was hit in my apartment's parking lot ... I took my car to get repaired and used a rental provided by my insurance company. Four days after I returned the rental, the company calls me to tell me that there was damage to the call that I'm on the hook for. I ask if they rented the car to someone else in those four days, and they won't tell me. I say I won't pay if they don't tell me, so I'm forced into legal proceedings with them. Just beat it this past week, and I am so tired.
I used to have this manager at a theater where I used to work. Let’s call him “Eugene”, after the character from Hey Arnold! I have described this guy as extremely unlucky. We dreaded Sunday shifts where he was the acting manager, because things would go wrong in a spectacular fashion, and because it was Sunday, was nearly impossible to get fixed right away: the popcorn popper suddenly stops heating properly, a projector goes down, a homeless guy decides to sleep near the fuse box and knocks out all our power, an aggressive driver tries to take him out while he’s riding his bike to work, and he’s the one who gets arrested after the ensuing altercation, etc. We began calling them “Eugene Sundays”. The crowning moment was when he was supposed to go on shift, and after putting in his contacts, reached for his eye drops but grabbed his small bottle of Krazy Glue by mistake. He had to go to the ER and wore an eye patch for weeks. His eye, miraculously, suffered no lasting damage.
Many moons ago, and for about a decade, every time I saw a rainbow I knew I was in for three months of sheer misery and tragic events taking place around me. This happened too many times to be coincidental. Finally, I had a serious talk with the Higher Power, did a ritual and it all stopped. Today, I can see a rainbow in the sky and it just means I saw a rainbow in the sky. Nothing particular happens.
TLDR my card got frozen three times before I finally got a proper card that’s fine.
Literally happened two months ago started beginning of March. Card one gets frozen because ass wholes decide to try and steal my money. New card gets sent three weeks later after upgrading to a stronger security card Happens again! Have to wait a week for new card. New card gets here after I went to buy a brand new tablet that morning. Card got frozen because same thing! I lost it cursed at the gods for this and deleted every app I didn’t trust. Finally settled into the new card three weeks before leaving the country haven’t touched it and am paranoid of it getting frozen again.
Mine just happened recently.
1) My current girlfriend just broke up with me 2 days ago with no explanation on why.
2) One of the fish tanks my parents have broke during the night and we lost a few fish sadly
3) My Aunty who I am meant to see on Sunday has gotten covid for the 16th time

about story 7, i remember losing a book at my grandma's house that was a library book,never turned up
December of 2007. Got kicked out of my rental, head on car crash, trying to move out. Two day later my sister house burned down. Then a week after that my grandmother died on Christmas.
Literally the entire beginning of this year, so I play footy (soccer) all year long, so during summer (November last year to February this year) I was playing with my team, close to the end of the summer season so around January, I ended up pulling a muscle in my right leg, it took me out of play for a week, I came back recovered then on my first game back ended up with a sprained ankle and was out for another week, then when I came back I ended up tearing my hamstring and spraining my LCL in my right leg, so that put me out for longer, one thing I forgot to mention is I play men’s and mixed in summer so 2 nights of games so after the hamstring and LCL I was playing in goal for my mixed team and punched the goal post while saving a goal and broke my right index finger so I couldn’t play the rest of the season, keep in mind that was just January, fast forward to February/March summer season is over and I’m still recovering from my hamstring, LCL and broken finger and now winter season is starting, I get the all clear to for light training and first session back and my team mates end up injuring my hamstring again so I’m out for a couple more weeks, our first pre-season game was at the end of March so I had the all clear to play that came out of it with pain from my leg as I was still recovering, 2 weeks after that so first proper season game I get taken out by an striker (I’m a defender) and I’m on the bench for the rest of the game icing my leg, fast forward to a few weeks ago at the time of this comment (so around mid April) and I’m playing a game after getting the all clear for my leg and it only need strengthening, I end up getting a hematoma in my right ankle, which naturally decides it wants to push on my nerves in my ankle making it hurt to walk so I’m out for half a week while that starts healing and coke back for a game the next week as we were short on players and I was in constant pain from that game so took another half week before it could walk without pain, played the next game and came out of it with another hematoma in my left leg on my calf which apparently might also have a blood clot in it, and then last weekend I played a game and towards the end of it I was thinking I would come out with no new injuries as I hadn’t been hurt yet but in the literal last 2 minutes I needed up getting hit in the face and getting a blood nose so yeah that was literally last weekend and I feel the universe hates me for wanting to do something I love

okay here was this one time in sixth grade i had this female math teacher and everytime i raised my hand she see me and wouldn't help me and i was *DEEPLY* struggling with math and i was to scared to tell anyone because i wasn't used to it i would always look the answers up, but the one time she said she would she never didi and helped someone else and i wouldn't foces because it was too loud in the class and she would use a whistle and it would hurt my fucking ears because i was beside her desk and i didn't have glasses at the time so i never could see but now i was in the seventh grade and i might pass but i'm still struggling with math and i'm not scared to ask for help as much but i still do try and look up the answers

The other day I made myself some toast, I kept checking it so it wouldn’t burn. It burned 😑. So I asked my dad for some help, he left the bread in the toaster for the EXACT SAME TIME as I did, AND IT DIDNT BURN!
