My first exposure to The Browning was End Of Existence. But I've gone back to listen to everything and love it all. The Browning is one of the only bands where i can put the entire catalogue on shuffle and not want to skip a single song.
Geist was just such a cool album. That's what really got me to be a fan. That music just felt so unique and different. You have always had cool album covers, but Geist is top to bottom my favorite.
Runescape? Yes please. And TDWP has a live show that to this day is fuckin incredible. I'm not a fan of their catalog personally but definitely will never discredit their live show performance. Awesome video y'all. Seeing Keem in the band is rad, the video of him getting down to Bind the Sacrifice lives rent free in my head.
I checked out when you would be closest to me soonest and I'm legitimately hooked as well as a friend of mine and we have high hopes of attending your next show in February at Winter Garden
I'm with Keem, a lot of my top 5 songs for The Browning are on Burn this World. The Browning was so unique and no one was doing anything like it and Bloodlust, Standing On The Edge and I Choose You unlocked something in my soul lol. When earache records screwed you guys over and removed all your stuff off of every platform, I felt it and I couldn't get my nostalgic fix besides on a random soundcloud where the sound quality was really bad lol. Don't get me wrong I've loved all the albums The Browning has released they have all been amazing but Burn This World did something for me at the time that I will always hold on to and when I listen to those songs it takes me back. Love the music, old and new its all been a great ride keep them coming! \;;/
Burn this world album is a masterpiece and I love all the loud synths. I think The Browning is underrated precisely because of the synths. Unfortunately, many metalheads don't like electronic music and still view the mixture of metal with other genres with prejudice. For me, it was easy to fall in love with The Browning because my first favorite genre was electronic music, and then rock/metal. When I first heard Stand Up and Scream by Asking Alexandria, my mind was blown, but I felt orphaned by Asking Alexandria very early on because they lost quality soon after. But then I discovered you in 2010/2011 when I was obsessed with Nintendocore and 'electro deathcore,' I couldn't stop listening to you and other similar bands like we butter the bread with butter and the passion only grew. Oh, and before I forget: please come to Brazil, at least one show in São Paulo would be amazing!
1) Pathologic 2) Isolation 3) Everlost 4) Prophecy 5) Standing on the Edge And honorable mention to No Man Can Become A God for Jonny using my lyric from the writing sessions on twitch on the final cut!
I used to skip middle school ALOT, got caught one day by my parents, who decided since I wanted to do grown up shit, I could work a grown up job. Parents were painters and now, I do art for a living so, not all lessons are bad ones I guess.
Concerning 1st jobs, I worked for a place that exclusively frames pictures/paintings/canvases/drawings professionally, After 2 big fuck ups on my part, I decided It wasn't for me. Second real job was for tobacco company standing on my feet for 8 to 12 hours a day 5-6 days a week. Wasn't fun, but a lot of baddies working there & got laid a couple times and quit because the work sucked. My current full-time career for almost past 10 years has been Food Lion and I have a love, hate relationship with them.
