- This video contains rules provided by Randy from Scream 1,2,3.
Can't wait for Scream 4..5..6
Hope you enjoy these Rules.
(Sucks that Randy is Dead...But Scream still Lives on)
WARNING: Even If You Know The Rules, You Could Still DIE. - บันเทิง
I was pissed off that Randy died he was the best in my opinion.
He should have been the character who should never die, because he knows the rules.
He lost his virginity
well my mom killed him
Same
What pisses me off is that everyone loves his killer, Mrs. Loomis
when you hear a noise don't ask if anyone is there it's not like the killer is going to say "i'm in the kitchen making a sandwich you wan't one?"
Nicholas Appel true that never do any of these if you are in a horror movie because it would leave lots of ways the killer could try to kill you easily.
Lmfaoooo
i like Randy Rules in Scream 3. Even in death he still helps out his friends
Dick Grayson Randy rules except his death it’s sad I didn’t want Randy to die I wanted Stu only to die
The rules have changed. Anyone can die at any time, especially the protagonist.
1:59 🤣
Paul: "Open the door, Randy!"
Randy: "15 minutes."
Paul: "My room, too!"
Randy: "Paul, 15 minutes I'm leaving my legacy."
*Paul pounding on the door*
Randy: "15 MINUTES, PAUL! DAMN!"
I replay this part over so many time.🤣
R.I.P. Randy & Wes Craven.
The Scream series died with Randy.
Megashark 101 True
Agreed
I mean now we got scream 5 and that was actually pretty fun
"Creepy Karen?"
"Shut up!"
LOL
Well technically, at the end, Stu does end up with a knife through him in the kitchen... RANDY IS A PSYCHIC!!!! :O
Of all of the places to find a rule that I have never heard anywhere else:
A "The Fact's of Life" episode had the situation where Natalie was trying to fool the other girls into thinking that Miss Edna killed a local old man, and cut him up to be served in the store. Blair started getting scared, which caused Jo to respond with something like, "Quit that! I've got to remind you, that in these movies, the whimperer always gets it FIRST!" And that was true in part I, where Drew Barrymore was crying and pleading, and BAM!
You have to admit Randy's death was the scariest death of the series but it came at the cost of him. Randy, you will live on in the hearts of all us movie know-it-all
Honestly that IS the scariest way to go, being so close to safety but so far from being safe. XD also I know this comment is 10 years old but scream 5 is now streaming and I'm pretty sure everyone is talking
"I'll see you in the kitchen with a knife."
The ironic thing is, that's how Randy goes.
Cheyenne Rowe not irony, foreshadowing
+Sherbet Flavoured Fanny He dies with multiple stabs is what he meant.
That's how stew goes, not randy.
He dies in a van not the kitchen but obviously with a knife
Randy dies in a van, not in the kitchen
Watching this now with Scream 5 (2022). They did Randy good. He has some awesome relatives.
@sorcerersinger24601... there was an extended trailer showing that the third rule was, Never ever assume that the killer is dead.
Rule 3 for scream 2- If you want your series to become a franchise, never ever kill the main character.
I LOVE YOU RANDY!!!
1:45 He knows the future!!!!
Ill be back LOL
Scream also added it's own law: potential victims throw a party, even when they know there's a killer stalking them. Freddy vs Jason.
Randy is proof that having likeable character's in horror movies is the most important factor, I was pissed when he died. Most horror movies I'm waiting for the killer to show up and off the dumbass and bitchy characters.
Thats why he came back, many were pissed he died
I feel like the only Scream movie that gave rules on how to survive was the first one really. The second one just talks about the body count and death scenes, and besides the 1st rule in the 3rd one, it's about the main character dying and the past coming back to bite you in the ass xD So technically if those were considered "rules" then I think the ones listed in the 4th one are also so. i agree though that it was what made the movies fun!!
he second rule of scream 3 was right because in nigmare on elm street 3 the main character dies
So does Alice in the second Friday the thirteenth.
So if i never drink , do drugs and have sex i will not expect someone to kill me
Not my fault man, my parents said I can't go near Sid anymore, they think she'll get me killed
That is how people die in these movies! If they watch Prom Night they would save time! THERE'S A FORMULA TO IT! A VERY SIMPLE FORMULA! EVERYBODY'S A SUSPECT!!!
Except in prom night we already know who the killer is so those rules don't apply.
I you want your sequel to become a franchise never EVER kill the villain without followers or resurrection methods, or just keep them alive. SAW, Puppet Master, Child's Play, Texas Chainsaw, Haloween, Nightmare on Elm Street... Don't believe me? Ask Thirteen Ghosts. Directer wanted a sequel, writers couldn't.
that does not mean you can't get killed, it just means you are not certain to be killed
Great rules for the slasher horror genre, but I got my own rules when it comes to surviving anime cliches.
1. Don't rely on the power of friendship, because if the characters are poorly written.
2. Be intelligent and interesting because the protagonist especially the male protagonist is always, Bland, oblivious, or stupid.
3. Keep yourself fit and self-aware because they will always be over explaining fight sequences.
4. Stay away from strangers because the mysterious characters will always have a dark past.
5. Be early as much as you can because the character is always late for school, events, and meetings.
6. Take your time facing the enemy The Final Duel, because the fights are never ending.
7. Keep your distance from society because your character will become the monster they despise.
And most important of all...
8. Men should stay single or be gay because the so-called weak female characters will always beat up the guys and be stronger than the enemy.
Randy is kinda like Alex Browning, who are both trying to escape the killers. Scream: Ghostface. and Final Destination: Death. You may believe that the comparision is pointless. But one can escape death
Ok, but real escalators turning you into Hamburger Helper, don't need 10 minutes of screen time to do it..
bear in mind that randy said in the first one that he'd be back. he may have survived that gunshot wound in the first one, but obviously it came back to slice n' dice him in the sequel. too bad i kinda liked him.
Gale, Stew, and Randy all said, I'll be back.
Exactly though Randy was kinda false on the Drug, sex rules. Number one example, Laurie Strode, she smoked pot in front of a sherrif and yet it took 5 halloween movies to off her. 2. Ginny from friday the 13th part 2, she smokes weed and had sex with the main camp counselor, she survived and he was never seen again. and 3. Sidney Prescot herself, she drank at the party and had sex with the killer. 4 movies and counting and she still has a pulse.
Haven't seen the first 2 movies but the loophole for sidney was she was the main character. . .
Not a loophole. The rule was broken intentionally. Listen to director commentary
@@That_Tunafish_Guy way to miss the point on my comment in general. Before Sidney, the people I've listed were people who should have died because they fucked or did drugs and yet they survived.
@@Shanethefilmmaker hey so uhhh did y'all see the 5th one yet or should I wait to tell you that one of the mains die?
@@JayTowers901 I'll tell you later.
RANDY SHOULD COME BACK !!!! dont care how they do it,that guy MADE THE SCREAM MOVIES , GAVE THEM MEANING !
Hey uploader hit me up when you get the scream 4 rules
Well why do you think Jason and Michael keep coming back they never drink and do drugs.
Somthing about this is just....chilling
RANDY!!! :D
Definitely my favorite character in this trilogy.
@sorcerersinger24601...NEVER EVER have the character who knows the rules get murdered...RANDY shall live within us forever...
@Deathriken Yeah, 4 horror movie fanatics killed within the franchise...That platitude could be one of the rules because it's already happened 4 times...haha yeah "5CREAM" to make it 5 horror movie idealist murdered :)
Not really, I don't really think that was a "rule" anyway, just a thought on how to survive a horror film. The other rules were that the killer had to be more extreme, virgins can die, the unexpected is the new cliché, and that the killer should be filming the murders.
came here because of the Scream Series, doing my own theory research and found something interesting. Scream 2 Season 2. already showing more gore. so I'm assuming the body count will be bigger too, specially because there are more episodes.
haha.. thank you!! xD
awesome video. love watching the rules scenes
I just realized that after Stu says "I'll be right back", he comes back as Ghostface.
It seems pointless to know the rules, I mean he knew the rules but he died anyway
I see that ("Potential victims throw a party, even when they know there's a killer stalking them") as more of a "formula" rather than a "law/rule of horror movies." "Formulas" are meant to initiate the "scare factor/cliches" of horror movies while "Rules" explain which characters will live or survive within a horror movie (An unwritten "Survival Guide" so to speak)...
Examples of "formulas" include: "Cellphones never work," "Car battery is dead," "flashlight always goes out," etc...
I agree w/ all of these rules...But does anyone else agree that a rule that should be ADDED to the list should be: "Never bring a (Video)camera with you?"
...Every time someone within a horror movie brings a (Video)Camera w/ them, they ALWAYS capture something "creepy" on film that intrigues their curiosity and provokes them (and sometimes other stupid, naive characters) to go and explore that creepy entity; thus, getting themselves killed and further initiating the story/plot of the film.
I know that wasn't such a good idea
Rules in Scream 4:
Don't f**k with the originals.
Death scenes are even more extreme.
"Unexpected" is the new cliche.
You could still die even if you're a virgin.
Rules in Scream 5:
Never trust the love interest.
The killer's motives are always connected to something in the past.
The first victim always has a friend group the killer's a part of.
I am so sad that Randy had died Randy we all want u here again but he's dead so.. Rip Randy meeks 😭😭☹
hearing the rules in Scream 4 was just not the same without Randy
First Scream movie was fantastic. Literally rewrote the rules of horror movies.
while mocking them lol
"some big busted bimbo runs up the stairs when she should run out the front door"
has to run upstairs because she locked the door and the killer is right behind her
lol
cant wait for scream 5 and 6
I'd be taking notes too.
Well I’m nine years late and got the geico add “if your in a horror movie you make bad choices”
Randy was ahead of the game on a podcasts
Nice.
Now for the newest Scream to do the requel and Stab rules.
it would be so weird if in scream 5 randy isn't dead and comes back to be ghost face/the killer
Randy will come back in scream 5 2022 His family rescued him but kept it a secret
What was the third rule for Sequel Rules
+Marc Martinezz I though it was "never ever kill off the main character" cause they want it to become a franchise???
Marc Martinezz does that mean at the end of the film or during the film?
Marc Martinezz I hate those morons who hit the killer with a stupid object and then say "it's over now". I'd love to know why horror trilogies are so rare though
Ben, one word my dude, MONEY, "it's still profitable right?" Bring em back lol
@@pacoreyes663 right
I think they will only being doing five, I think six got canceled.
12/20/21 scream 5 it’s official
@KC98 nope scream 5 is happening
@KC98 i'm excited for it
aww i love randy he awsome
I miss randy how will they survive scream 4 without his rules! Kevin you never kill off someone who knows the rules if randy's dead everyone else is a goner
How did they do? Got ya jollies up?
sure does :)
Character Randy is actually screenwriter Kevin Williamson.
I broke the rule of saying "I'L BE RIGHT BACK." alot and I'm not dead yet. That proves that the rules are not true.:)
Wouldnt it be wierd if in a future movie, paul is a killer and his only motive is randy wouldnt let him in the room, there have been stupider motives looking at you richie and amber
I got a better rule. Keep a gun with you at all times you won’t have to run from a man with a knife
Scream 4 sucked because there was no Randy. Well that's not the only reason why but it is the primary.
Genius. That's twice. Twice they told us who the killers were right in the beginning and we ignored it.
no u have to be a virgin or the main character (AKA Sidney)
what about Scream 4?
It rocked like Hell!!
Scream 4
Rules to successfully survive a horror movie remake:
1. Don't fuck with the original.
2. The death scenes have to be way more extreme.
3. Unexpected is the new cliche.
4. Virgins can die now.
5. New versions are always 2.0, so the latest technology is always involved and intregal to the plot. This means the killer may start filming the murders.
6. You have to have an opening sequence.
7. If you want to survive in a modern day horror movie, you pretty much have to be gay.
Scream 4 wasn’t released at the point this movie was released
15 MINUTES PAUL!!!! DAMN!!!!!
yeah this is really good shit!!!
I hope the box set of all 6 movies comes with a costume or maybe a mask
The makers of this movie seriously need to see Halloween. Fuck, just about any horror movie really.
If anything, it seems they were trying to redefine rules that never previously existed.
Stu only said I'll be right back cause he was one of the killers.
Never ever assume the killer is dead.
Kevin Williamson created the SCREAM films. I guess he has the right to kill off his most fun character. But... still...
I think scream four had no rules because the rules from part two are still working because its a series.
StevieBeamer Actually Scream 4 had rules.
1. The death scenes have to be way more extreme.
2. Unexpected is the new cliche.
3. Virgins can die now.
4. New versions are always 2.0, so the latest technology is always involved and intregal to the plot. This means the killer may start filming the murders.
5. You have to have an opening sequence.
6. Don't fuck with the original.
7. If you want to survive in a modern day horror movie, you pretty much have to be gay.
Is this for a fourth installment or for a remake because I know that the killer is trying to remake stab ( never seen it watched the trailer
+sjm8890 What are the rules to a Reboot?
Also, Randy couldn't have predicted that 4 would have happened and made a tape for it
Anyone make the connection between the the set of the first movie and the 2022 movie? Don’t wanna ruin it for those who haven’t watched it but shoulda noticed that
i love jamie kennedy!!
I dislike the third one's rules because it's so forced.
The rules didn't even apply to horror movies, trilogies are rare in horror movies yes, but that's because most horror movies don't stop at the third one, they just keep going.
He didn't even give out examples of horror movies, he immediately name drops Godfather and Star Wars.
I love you Jamie
1:27 what does randy try to say at 1:27
The third rule was only ever in the commercials for it. "Never assume the killer is dead."
@ilovemusik1997 becuz he went off on the killer in two saying you wanna play with the big boys (bunch of serial killer names) OJ woosh outa no where grabs randy epic stabbing scene then death but I agree WHY
Scream 2 rule 3 unfinished
@pittsburghfan7 Also the producers of the movie could have meant that line as an inside joke; saying that it's hard to ever tell if the sequel is going to be successful enough to become a franchise.
Why Oh why kill Randy. Nooooo he was the best. They should have kept him
I have a rule don't go to any abandoned places or houses alone
Stu was the cutest in all 4 movies ( Randy was pretty cute too) but he got electrocuted in the face so... Not happening anytime soon.
He lost his virgin card so he died 😢
There is usually someone called Michael and they say his name in a creepy way repeatedly...
No, those are two separate movies and that only happened the one time. Halloween and Candyman
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 stranger things too...
@sorcerersinger24601 He was going to say Assume the killer is dead. It's in the trailer.
So....What was in Godfather part 3 that went against the first 2? Randy listed that as an example. Just curious.
@ TheShadowSkull1 that does usually seem to be a pattern doesn't it
How about the rules for Scre4m?
Horror remake rules
Joe Whitehead Yeah
Scream 4

@sonicknuckels1
sadly ill post the rules for Scream 4 without Randy
the order of deaths in a horror movie
1)black guy dies first
2)funny guy dies second
3) douche-bag dies third
4)blond chick dies fourth
5)sex couple dies fifth
6)the virgin lives
Maybe because I never died
yeah,
Hope there's a Scream 5 and 6 o.o 5CREAM and S6REAM lol
