If the inquisitors killed the Jedi they were hunting then someone like Vader didn't need to get involved in the first place, but if an inquisitor was killed, it showed that the Jedi in question might be worth Vader's time to kill personally. The inquisitors just basically made it so that Vader didn't need to go kill every single Jedi that was spotted since in most cases his presence wouldn't necessary to deal with the mostly Padawan's and low level knights that survived order 66.
That’s why in survivor instead of an inquisitor showing up when the hidden paths hq is found. Vader dos with his pull power. He knows ceres and cal are there. It would be pointless if anyone but him gos. The empire lost almost a full battalion and Vader in that battle because ceres and marrin proved to be vary overwhelming combatants.

Around mid level Jedi. This basically means they're fodder to most of the main Force Users in the series (Vader, Ashoka,Maul and of course people like Sidious and Yoda) because all of them are absolute top tier beasts.Unstoppable monsters to actual Fodder (Normal Stormtroopers , normal Rebel soldiers) and challenging opponents to characters like Cal,Ezra and Kanan. Whether or not they can take out a normal Jedi out in a fair fight is a 50/50 shot, they probably use their recourses and numbers to give themselves better odds. Although it would definitely be cool to see a little more of their unstoppable side. Have them do some of the things Cal does in the games for example

I'm pretty sure none of the Inquisitors could pull down a Star Destroyer from orbit while getting fired at by Tie Fighters, I'm also sure they couldn't vaporize stormtroopers with a force blast either, so I'm pretty fuckin sure they couldn't defeat Starkiller whatsoever.
Pretty much ever y Inquisitor fight we've seen on screen they've come up against a Jedi or force user with extreme plot armour. Would be nice to see some day stories of Inquisitors actually being terrifying

There was infighting among them that the Rule of Two was designed to prevent. (I don’t buy that the Inquisitors weren’t Sith, they were much more than Dark Jedi. I honestly think they’re quite strong and skilled. A lot of people say they’re weak, but we’ve only seen them fight high skilled MAIN characters. All the jedi they’ve killed behind the scenes stood no chance, even one on one, especially with the help of their spinning lightsabers. I take it Palpatine took that idea from Grievous and how he used that to over power jedi. And honestly I think their lightsabers are actually cool, who cares if it makes them fly, it’d probably be a lot of fun anyway. (I’m the average inquisitor sympathizer)

a lot were former jediknights, the average padawan and jediknight is not strong as kenobi, luke, kanan, ezra, cal kestis, cere junda, ahsoka and so on. even with the darkside inquisitors at most would be a mid lvl jediknight, some are stronger let's say 2nd sister and grand inquisitor. 2nd sister was probably a high lvl jedi knight in terms of all around combat abilities, while the grand inquisitor would be low jedi master. their jobs were to hunt down the remnants and there's a very low chance of bumping into masters when they do the job is to survive and report since vader can't go to every rumor of jedi appearing, he only does when they pose enough threat.
It would’ve been cool if a Jedi Master actually fell to the dark side, only to become an Inquisitor. They’d be too skilled and immediately rise the ranks to Grand Inquisitor, only for Darth Vader to step up.

The Disney canon makes no sense. Cere with Cal couldn’t beat the fifth brother but she could stand alone against Vader? She lost but he had to fight. If you are talking about the encounter Cere had with Vader in FO, she got rag dolled by Vader who was only using one him she was only able to bring him to his knees for a couple of seconds with the help of the dark side. While JS Cere basically reached enlightenment, had prepared for 5 years to fight Vader again, and Vader trying to toy with her in the first half of their fight. (Edit) Also Cere was able to fight off the Fifth Brother but she was trying to reason with him and bring him back to the light side like how she did with Trilla.

George Lucas was pressed on this in an interview and his official answer was that Luke was the full realization of Anakin Skywalker’s potential. He managed to inherit all the force abilities from his father’s side and since he missed out on a physically and psychologically debilitating injury he managed to become as strong as Anakin would have been had he not been hurt himself. In symbolic terms he is the living redemption of the chosen one.

It makes it seem like Maul is quite weak, which he wasn’t supposed to be in the Lucas canon. I won’t get started on characters like Kylo Ren.

@@xeganxerxes4319 Yeah, Disney canon doesn't really make any sense, but I can see Ahsoka beating Maul due to his horrible mental state that can be taken advantage of. Honestly, I really hate Ahsoka now Dave just can't let him character go she should have stayed died in rebels or been killed off during Order 66 like Lucas wanted. Besides that, there's also the fan base that overrates her and tries to make her out to be Vader or Yoda level of power. Kylo ren is a joke I'm not about to blindly listen to those bs statements about him being stronger than Vader or on his level considering he lost to Rey.

George Lucas was pressed on this in an interview and his official answer was that Luke was the full realization of Anakin Skywalker’s potential. He managed to inherit all the force abilities from his father’s side and since he missed out on a physically and psychologically debilitating injury he managed to become as strong as Anakin would have been had he not been hurt himself. In symbolic terms he is the living redemption of the chosen one.
