I did show a few right back in the beginning I think, in my first Lutterloh video but I think everyone is well overdue for another look! I know you would absolutely love the designs of some of them 🥰. I'll send you a couple!! Thanks for watching xxx💗
It was a lot of fun looking at those patterns with you! Reminds me of when my mother and I would go shopping for patterns together in the stores years ago 😊. I feel like I'm not sure I could do Lutterloh but you're giving me the idea that maybe I could...someday...?
Ah yes, I remember my Mum going through counter books as well with me 🥰. Believe me I didn't think I could do Lutterloh but as long as I keep it simple it's ok! Some of those designs though 🤣, only professional dressmakers could attempt them. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
Lutterloh patterns??? You are a BRAVE woman!!! 😜 LOVE, love, love both outfits on the "Jackie Kennedy" page, especially the shift dress w/ pockets! Hope you make it! Really liked most of the patterns you page-marked. There was a wide- shawl collar coat in one of the booklets that really looked cool! (I probably have a Big 4 pattern for one. I love shawl collars on outerwear.) The one thing I would think Lutterloh would include is a finished photo of each garment on a model. Drawings are one thing, but a real photo is so much better. Looking forward to seeing what you finally decide to make. 🥰
Ha ha not Brave at all as notice how I picked the easier ones?! I know what you mean about the drawings with the non realistic figures. The thing I would love them to do though is give a fabric suggestion other than woven or knit. Knit fabric can vary so much in stretchiness. Ah well, it keeps the old brain cogs whirring anyway! Thanks as always 😘❤️
There really are, a lot more normal clothes than in my recent supplements. Just need more hours in the day to make them 🤣. Have a good week and thanks for your comment 🧵😊
Oh there are some crazy ones aren't there?! That's the Europeans for you 🤣. Thanks so much for watching and yes, the top I was wearing was my favourite for the moment! 😊🧵
I love a bargain buy 4 get a fifth one free 😍 loved looking through those patterns the early ones I saw different dresses and remember having those styles 🤦♀️ you have great patience to draw them out
Thanks Sandra, isn't it always fun looking through pattern books. I remember doing that even as a child and indeed making up a 'fashion book' of my own 😂. I do love doing it as long as I have the time otherwise I just grab one of my normal patterns all done for me...with instructions!! Thanks for watching 😊🧵
Your booklets look just like my quilt/sewing ones! I also put sticky notes on items I’m interested in. Such a fascinating concept. Can’t wait to see your makes.
Thanks so much for your comment and watching. If I don't put those sticky notes I completely forget which ones and where they were 😂. I am hoping I get some time between now and Christmas to do some but that is always a challenge at this time of year! 🧵😊
Ive ordered modern lutterloh because of your channel! Ive collected the 40s and 50s versions in years past as an expensive collection lol but yet to give them a go as they didnt have the ruler. I ordered their vintage reprint supplement also, excited to get started!
Oh wow, I do hope you get on with it and if you need any advice, the Lutterloh Facebook group is amazing. How wonderful you have a proper vintage collection, they must have some amazing designs. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
You could do it easy peasy. Look at the quilts you have worked out how to do. I could never do that 😅. Thanks for stopping by even though Lutterloh ain't your bag! Loves Ya ❤️❤️😘❤️❤️
Wow that is amazing! That must have been so tricky with the long zip down the front. I did see on the Lutterloh facebook site that someone is just doing the coat over the top of it. Thanks so much for your comment 😊🧵
That's interesting as I thought the original kit would be a whole different group of patterns from the Supplements. Mine is from the 1970's so I couldn't compare 🤣. Thanks for stopping by and hope you are well 😊🧵x
Hi Carole. I got an email today with the Lutterloh patterns today. I wish I had the system because there were a few dresses I did like. Thanks for going through these.😊 Oh, classic patterns for the fuller figure! That's me!😅😅😅
Hi Zelda, thanks for watching. I would love them to do just a practical classic supplement for me, it would be so much cheaper 🤣. I'm happy with lots of these though. If ever you see a system in a thrift store I would snap it up, you would have fun with it. Have a great week 🧵😊💕
What a great bunch of patterns! You’re going to have so much fun! I love trying new things and improving my skills. I bought some doll patterns and boy am I having a time with them. They work up massive, so I guess I’m off to alter doll patterns😏
Oh doll patterns! How wonderful that must be. I have one I bought a few months ago and now waiting for my Granddaughter to get a little older 👏🏼. How funny that you are having to alter those though 🤣. Thanks for watching as I know Lutterloh isn't for everyone 😊🧵
Thanks Deb, notice how I chose the easy ones?! I think to be honest, altering patterns like doing FBAs and working out all those measurements is much more complicated! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch 😊❤️
Aww I am sure you could manage it. I think it's easy than some of the tricky alterations people do, narrow shoulder, sway back, FBAs etc 🤣. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving 😊🧵
Thank you so much for this Lutterloh Supplements! I’ll definitely go looking for some as I’ve never purchased any. Thanks again, from one Lutterloh user to another!
Hi fellow Lutterloh lady! Always so good to hear from others that use the system, thank you. Yes I will admit I tend to favour the older supplements on the website, you can look through each page which is really good. Let me know if you buy any! Thanks for watching 🧵😊
I have many of these, have plotted out several a year ago but then got caught up in sewing other things. The button down sleeveless dress pattern is still next to my cutting table. I find the fuller figure patterns to be my favorite for fit as I’m busty, broad shouldered and stick to designs that have an open neckline. Regular patterns need a FBA for me.
Thanks so much for watching and your comment. I am really interested to hear that the patterns suit your figure without an FBA as I am currently struggling a bit with my old T shirt patterns. I may well have a look for a fuller figure T shirt view and give that a go. It is fun to do every now and again isn't it and I am glad I had this new supply. 😊🧵
@@socarole66 my sewing club all purchased Pamela’s Perfect T shirt pattern (still available)many years ago. The fit was excellent for the gals with more narrow shoulders and under a 5’4”frame. It didn’t work for me at all. It had many neckline variations included. Lutterloh v neck tees (full figured classics collection) and the matching long cardigan is still in my winter rotation.
I really like the Lutterloh system,I enjoy drafting the patterns,,I find the whole process satisfying,I do have my TNT Big 4 patterns as well.I have a duplicate of one of my supplements number 295 and would be happy to send it to you, I am enjoying seeing your progress…
Thanks so much for watching Pamela and always pleased to hear from anyone who does Lutterloh! How kind of you to offer to send me your extra supplement, I would be happy to pay postage etc of course. 😊🧵
There is a wonderful Lutterloh Facebook site where people post their makes. Look up Lutterloh System. That is the one I am on, it has 16.8k subscribers!
Hi~ I’m interested in watching your videos, but am very strobe light sensitive. I wonder if you have a ceiling fan running when you’re filming that is causing a slight blinking/flashing?
Hello there, first of all thank you so much for watching but most importantly I am sorry that you have difficulty watching my videos. We don't have ceiling fans in our country, no need for them! I have just gone back through my videos and noticed that the ones I film at night with the light in the room as you say, does cause slight flickering to me but I imagine if you suffer with strobe effects it would be more exaggerated. Not much I can do at this stage but going forward I will try to check this doesn't happen if I film when it is dark. Father Christmas is actually bringing me some new lighting I think 🤞🏼so 2024 may be more professional. Thanks again 🧵😊
Don’t sell your arms short. You still have a lot of life to live. One of those patterns might work for your fabric you are trying to figure out what to make.
Oh bless you thank you. I've just noticed in the last 6 months my arms are looking older and older! Still if that's all I have to worry about I'm doing ok 🤣. It's funny as I had gone through my old Lutterloh patterns to get ideas but nothing jumped out at me. I'm think I'm sorted now though, I just need time to make them up! Thanks for watching 🧵😊
So cool, Carole! I would LOVE to see the original ones your mom had from the ‘70s! 🤩🤩🤩😘💗

Yes, it was fun. You have given me a “need” for a Lutterloh system. 😊
Thank you so much for watching. If you see a second hand Lutterloh System it is definitely worth a look! 😊🧵
There are some really nice patterns Carole. It's very interesting 😊
There really are, a lot more normal clothes than in my recent supplements. Just need more hours in the day to make them 🤣. Have a good week and thanks for your comment 🧵😊
You will have fun with that lot... you flicked past some real doozies too! 🤭. Love the sort of flower burst fabric on your top. 🙋♀️

Thanks Diann, it's nice to 'share' these books with someone! Chris had zero interest whatsoever 🤣. Have a wonderful week ❤️🍓
I loved all the ones you bookmarked! I’m really going to enjoy watching future videos where you make these. Xx 💞

In your newest supplement, I have made the dress on the left of the front cover. It came out really well, and I am so proud of myself for making it!

Well, they didn't look that easy to me! LOLOLOL...
Good luck with those plans! That system would be wa--------------------y too complicated for me to try. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!🥰

We do all like looking at pattern books.
Ha ha yes we do! I could sit for hours with the Big 4 counter books! Have a wonderful week 🧵😊
For Men's patterns - you still use the chest and hip measurements, just the same as for women's patterns.
Thanks so much for your comment. For some reason I thought it may be different 🤣. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
Hurrah, lutterloh makes, I have made 323. Cowl neck hoodie top. Good pattern.
Oh thanks so much for telling me about that one! I will put that further up the list to make. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
