All the garments look amazing! You did an excellent job picking out the fabrics and their construction. All three look wonderful on you. I completely understand why you’re so happy about the fabric and garments!
Caroline, your. Items are so (sew) fantastic. You have done an amazing job with that fabric. It is wonderful to see you so pleased with your results. Roll on next challenge. Happy sewing. 😊 ❤😂🎉 🇦🇺 🪃
Love it alot you have done sooo well it fabulous I'd be happy to can't wait for the make its fun watching the other sewist joining in have a great week ❤😊😊
I believe the word I want here is BRILLIANT! That jacket is fabulous! You always look so good in the things you make - and this is no exception. Well done! xoxoxox
Aww thank you so much Jen! I love that jacket so much and can't wait to wear it in Spring.. roll on the warmer weather. You are so kind to me. I am really sure nothing else I make this year will be anywhere near as good 😂😂. Have a safe trip xxx💗
Hi Carole! Oh my goodness… everything turned out beautifully!!!! When you first started talking about putting the wheel away… I was thinking it may have all gone wrong! I’m so glad I was wrong. And honestly, you haven’t changed at all since 2016! The jacket may be my most favorite. Well done!! ❤ Diann
Thanks so much Diann. I honestly think my sewing is going to go downhill all the way in 2025 now! I love that jacket so much. Bless you for saying I haven't changed, I was definitely quite a few pounds lighter then😂. Onto the next spin fabric now, everyone have given me so many suggestions. 💗🍓x
Carole, This is a fantastic make indeed but 2025 has just begun and you will be creating even more stunning garments. You have not aged one bit since that photo. You could make a nice button down shirt with that viscose print and wear it with jeans! 🥰💝💝
Aww thank you so much Grace. I honestly don't think I will make anything better than that for 2025, that is it, I am retiring now 😂. I certainly have aged from that photo and added a few pounds but I will take your compliment thank you 🥰. Have a great week xx💗
Amazing!!! I think all three pieces are great and you can definitely wear them together. I think the linen would make beautiful cushion covers. I had to laugh at your enthusiasm when the wheel landed on that one 😂 Have fun with it! Xx 💞
Thanks so much Izzy! That fabric definitely came up trumps for me. I was kind of speechless about the next fabric wasn't I?! Don't worry, I now have a plan for it, thanks for the suggestion anyway. Have a great week and don't work too hard!! xx💗
Hi Carole, you now have 3 amazing garments. Not to mention that they are all co-ordinated as an outfit. The jacket is very nice and as you said, could be worn on its own. Looking forward to your next make ☺
Thanks Babbra, I honestly didn't think any of those items would work out and they did! I have had so many great suggestions for the linen, I am sure that will be a success too (well fingers crossed anyway!). 🧵😊
Amazing !!! and a tiny fraction of the cost of a whole Lululemon outfit 😂😂. Thanks so much for being so kind and being such a support to my channel xx🧵😊
I love that pagoda print. A top with a Mandarin or band collar would look lovely on you. Your active wear ensemble looks like a $400.00+ designer design. Good on you!
Thank you so much for watching and your super comment about my activewear collection. I do love the next fabric but against my skin, it doesn't look good. Don't worry, I now have a plan for it!🧵😊
Wow!!! That’s all I have to say 🙌🏼🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼. It’s so nice to see you so happy with your new make👍. I just finished with my first garment, now I just need to make the video 🤣🤣. Congrats on your GREAT SUCCESSFUL 3 piece ensemble 🥰🥰
Hi Karen! I am so scared to make up any more wheel fabrics after this one. Nothing will work quite as well I know!! I can't wait to see your first results and I do hope it is bringing you as much enjoyment as it is for me. Thanks for watching xx💗
Carole, your workout outfit looks so professional. Well done. It's beautiful. I can see how happy the jacket makes you, and it's justified. Can't wait to see what you will make with the linen - I would go for old fashioned napkins for your holiday home :D
Hi Agata, I am so happy with that jacket and can't wait until the warmer weather to wear it! I have just put the finishing touches on the linen item and it has worked out well! Thanks for the suggestion of napkins, I have had every suggestion under the sun I think so I have kept a list. Have a good week xxx💗
Yay, Carole! What a fab, fab set!!! So versatile for mixing and matching!!! Lululemon is jealous! 😘💗 PS: I’ve made that leggings pattern! It’s a good one! 💗
Hi Andra, thanks so much!! That leggings pattern was spot on and really looks professional. As normal I panicked I wouldn't be able to sew it and it would be too tricky 😂. Hope you are well my friend 💗💗
Carole! You have definitely outdone yourself this time! That outfit is gorgeous! To make a jacket look so good with minimal instructions-😮-Amazing! I love the colors too! Now as for that linen fabric- I wouldn’t try a garment- but that’s just me 😂 Good luck with that one 😂Happy sewing ❤❤❤
Hi Mary! That jacket was easy to make actually it was the leggings that were more tricky and even they weren't too bad! Think of a jacket like that as a cardi with a zip 😂. I have hatched a plan for the linen fabric so stayed tuned! Thanks so much for watching and good luck with your wheel xx💗
Thanks so much Maureen, I could not hide my feelings about the jacket could I! I can't wait until Spring now so I can wear the jacket. Hope you are well 🧵😊
Wow 😮❤ why not wear it all together!! Fantastic!!! I love it. It’s perfect. I’m in total agreement with you. I would never have done leggings for myself, now you convinced me to try it. Beautiful job. 😊😊😊
Thanks so much, I thought I was a little unsure of too much of that patterned fabric together! Have a go at leggings, this was a great pattern and so much easier than I thought. 🧵😊
Great job on the blue active wear. I think the blue and off-white patterned fabric would work well as a button down, collared shirt, similar to a chambray-type shirt. At this point, I don’t think I would color block. I think it will look better than you imagine. You keep making beauty from ashes!😅
Beauty from the Ashes! I love that 👏🏼. It is the magic of wheel I think! thanks for the suggestion on the next fabric, as you say, colour blocking just won't work will it. Have a good week and thanks again 🧵😊
Hi Carole. The trio of sportswear looks great! I really like the jacket. I must look it out. Love the leggings and top too. The colour balance was just right. Please keep spinning. My Dice spin on s.trish has fortunately left me with a first choice I can actually manage and a good pattern for it. Wish me luck. Re the new fabric, maybe a frilly pinny? Or overall of some sort? With lots of pockets 😉
Thanks so much for the lovely compliments! Your first 'spin' sounds like it has been kind to you like mine was. Can't wait to see what you come up with 🧵😊
Wow! Sewing is your super power! Great job on your active wear ensemble! I have the Simplicity and the kwik sew, so I'll have to make them up. Thanks for the shout out! I better get cracking! 😜🥰
Thanks Becky! I was really surprised how good those Simplicity leggings were and as always, I think, I could never make those...and then I do! Hope you give them a try and good luck with your wheel 🧵😊
Fabulous set of active wear. They look fabulous and it was fun to see you so excited about the jacket. How about a giant floor pillow for the grandkids to lounge on from this spin?
Hi, Carol, that outfit is gorgeous! You did a fantastic job on those leggings, but that jacket! It is beyond cuteness! Don’t you ever say that you are not an accomplished seamstress, because you are! You have grown so much in your sewing over these years, it’s absolutely amazing. Great job, girlfriend! You could make some tote bags or cushion covers with that next fabric. It could be made into quite a few different things, let your imagination free! Take care, stay warm, and guess what? It snowed at my house! Didn’t stick around, but it was pretty to look at. I’ll be glad when this cold weather is over.❄️☃️🥶
Aww Sue, you know I appreciate your faith in me and I really hold you in high esteem! I always get scared thinking I can't make these items, then I come through and you can see how happy I get. I think you may be right, I think I have improved over the course of my channel but it is only because of the fabulous support I get from everyone. 🥰. We spent a week walking in the fabulous snow of Austria but I couldn't believe the photos coming out of the USA! Now we are back to hideous wind and rain, I didn't miss that at all. Thanks so much my friend 🧵😊
Carole, you are a wonderful inspiration! I love your makes! Perhaps you can use your latest fabric spin as a lining for a jacket. It’s just a thought! Thanks so much!
Aww thank you so much, that is so kind of you and I really appreciate that. Thanks so much for the suggestion on the next fabric, good idea for unloved fabric. 🧵😊
That is my favorite outfit youve ever made! Its stunning on you and fits to perfection! It really fits your lifestyle too. You will be the cutest rambler in the group!!! There are more wonderful makes to come so SPIN THAT WHEEL!!! I just love you girl!!❤
Me too!! I am never sewing anything ever again...I am retiring now 😂. I can't wait for Spring so I can wear that jacket rambling, none of them have any idea I sew though! The wheel sure came good for me yet again but the next fabric...urmm not so sure. Hope you are working on your First results, can't wait to see them. Thanks my friend for always being so kind and supportive 💗🤗💗
Your makes are amazing! You’re a great seamstress. I love the next fabric color and print. How about a summer robe! Or a blazer! If the fabric would work well for these items. Love your channel.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your faith in me! Thanks also for your suggestions for the linen fabric, all these are going on a list. I am so pleased you like my channel and for taking the time to comment 🧵😊
Hello and I pray you had a good holiday in Austria. I love what you made out of the leisure wear fabric, and they look great on you. Thank you for the suggestions on the other channels that are doing the Wheel of Fate, but you forgot to mention Pinky's Farm as I watched her this morning and she gave a shout out to you about the wheel and was very excited to show us the fabrics that she chose to use. Take care and looking forward to all your videos. It is still really cold in MN with no snow. By the way, I worked in Minneapolis just a couple of blocks from Kwik Sew and have been to there shop many times and yes it is too bad that they are not there anymore. Darn anyway because they had so many excellent patterns.😀❤
Thanks so much for your comment. Don't worry, Trish and I are great buddies and she knows that I haven't forgotten her! That video was filmed before I knew Trish and a couple of other ladies were doing the challenge and as I was away, I couldn't edit the video. I am thrilled that so many people are joining in the fun and from now on I will just list the channels (as I did this time) in the description box in case I miss off anyone else! I can't believe you worked near to Kwik Sew, they really did design good dress patterns didn't they. 🧵😊
Carol, your sports ensemble is fabulous! I'm super thrilled for you! Don't forget, G&G have great quality athletic fabrics (if a bit pricey-but that kind of quality is more no matter where you go). I wouldn't know what garment to make with the linen either. It is a beautiful print though. A few ideas for other uses: curtains, pillow cases, storage boxes, table cloth, travel bags, passport covers, plant box covers, grocery bags, toiletry bags, seat cushions, etc. I'm sure you saw but JoAnns is being liquidated and going out of business. The deep discounts have started. If there are any Kwik Sews patterns you'd like me to get for you, (when they go on sale) or any of the big 4 really, I can definitely check if our JoAnns has them. I'm coming to the UK in March and would be happy to post them for you there. We won't have a car, or I would try to meet you somewhere to give them to you in person. We will be in Coventry, Birmingham and then London if they are anywhere near you. Just let me know. xoxo. p.s Carol, if you go to Debbie Shore's TH-cam Live stream from this morning, she used a fabric with very similar colors to your linen. She made a cute bag and a beautiful book cover from it and they look great. Just another idea for you to consider. Here is the link.th-cam.com/video/2QSilxpY27c/w-d-xo.html You'll have to scroll to about the 20min mark to see her talking about it.
Oh my word Rita, thank you so much for all those wonderful ideas for that linen fabric. I am keeping a list of what people suggest, so you have certainly added quite a few! No worries re patterns as I will be in the USA in June so if JoAnns is still around I shall pick any that are left. It will really leave a hole in your Sewing shopping if they disappear completely. I really appreciate your kind offer. How wonderful you are visiting the UK in March, I do hope our weather is kind to you. Sadly I live on the South Coast so very far from where you are visiting, they are all about 3 or 4 hours away. Thanks also for the tip on Debbie Shore, I will look that up. Have a great week and can't wait to hear about your trip 🧵😊
Awesome makes. How exciting that everyone of them worked out for you. That jacket will definitely get lots of use. Now I guess the challenge will be to make something "not boring." 🙂 Last week I made a bomber jacket for my oldest granddaughter using a new to me pattern. I made soooo many mistakes. And in the end it was too small for her, thankfully it fits her youngest sister and she really likes it. Darcey, age 6, and I had our sewing lesson this week. I made an apron for her mom and she is decorating the pockets. She told me she wants to do both the foot pedal and guide the fabric. So I thought having her decorate the pockets with fancy stitches would be a good way to start. It wouldn't matter if she "got off course." She likes to talk, so she was chatting away and notice that she wasn't really watching what she was doing. She looked at me and the said, "you really have to keep your eye on the needle when you are sewing, otherwise it might do something cheeky." Apparently her vocabulary is very influenced by the Bluey. I also made three "taco bags" this week, I needed an easy win. After I made one I couldn't resist and made two more. They are all different sizes. The mini one is so cute. Thanks for sharing and best of luck with the new wheel challenge.
Thanks so much for your updates on your sewing adventures. Oh my goodness your Granddaughter is so precious! That needle sure can be cheeky at times. What is it about making little bags? They are such fun aren't they, well done for making some. Sorry about the Bomber jacket but fortunate it found a good home! Thanks for watching and your comment 🧵😊
Wow, Carole. You knocked it out of the park. The entire outfit looks fabulous. Great workout gear. I noticed that Diann @Silver ThreadsSewing is doing the #fabricwheeloffate too. Her husband did a great job with the wheel. It’s similar to the one your dad made for you. I’m enjoying all of you playing this fabric game and coming up with the perfect pattern(s). 😊 Your new fabric is beautiful. If you don’t want to make a garment, it would make a pretty beach bag.
Hi Cynthia! Thank you so much for you lovely comments! Don't worry I know that Diann is doing the wheel and I messaged her to apologise for not mentioning her! When I filmed that video I didn't know she was going ahead with it and then we went away so I couldn't change the filming. She was of course lovely about it and I did tag her channel in the video anyway. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
@ I only mentioned it because I wasn’t sure if you knew or not. It wasn’t to make either of you feel bad. I checked out Nancy’s channel. I had never seen her before. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi Carole, what a fabulous trio of active wear, you've made. You should be very pleased and proud because they are stunning. Leggings are something I hadn't worn until recently for exercising in but I bought some because I wanted to make my own at some point. You've inspired me yet again. Have a great week and good luck with the new fabric. I'd be tempted to make some casual trousers I think..
Hi Annette, thanks so much for all your lovely comments. I have to say, I was really proud of these makes...hence I don't want to make anything ever again 😂. I was surprised how well those leggings came out, it really was a good pattern so hope you try some. 🧵😊
What can I say that hasn’t already been said? WOW! WONDERFUL! BRILLIANT! You look gorgeous! I’m thinking pillow covers with the new fabric. Good job!!! 🎉👍😊❤️
WHAT AN INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL WORK OUT OUTFIT!!! You really nailed this WOF spin, Carole!!! The fit is perfect and the fabric is beautiful. Very, very well done! Yes, you should be very proud of this outfit. You outdid yourself. [Mike drop!] As for this spin's fabric, how about new pillow covers for your garden room or the holiday house? xx Dori
Hi Dori! Thank you so much for all your kindness on my makes. You can see why I am so nervous to anything else ever again 😂. It is all going to be downhill from here on I think!! Thanks for the suggestions on what to do with the new fabric, I am listing them all down. Take care and hope you managed to stay warm! 💗x
@@socarole66 Hi Carole. You are so deserving of compliments on your makes, as you are so talented. No snow where I live, just chilly at night, but great snuggling/sleeping weather. Turned on my heater for the very first time 2 days ago when the nights got down into the high 30s/low 40s, to get the chill out of the house. I assume that the heater will eventually die of rust instead of over use! 🤣 Can't wait to see you next video! 🥰 Hugs, Dori
I love your active wear! I'm going to be tackling active wear next month, and your love and excitement gives me hope it will turn out ok! The color is great on you and they all look wonderful on you! Great job!
Thanks so much Lara! That Simplicity pattern is really good, I was so surprised how easy it was. I can't wait to see what you make, I know it will be awesome and of course, fearless and fun!!! xx
Wow Carole! You hit a home run with these projects and They look amazing on you. I think you have inadvertently inspired a lot of people to think about buying a cover stitch machine. The finish is next level!
Oh thank you so much. I must admit I thought for years about a cover stitch machine as I didn't think I would use it, but I do all the time and it is so easy! As you say, it adds those touches you would see in 'bought' garments. 🧵😊
Oh. Carole, I love, love, love your complete outfit that you shared with us today. You did very well with your pattern choices. That blue is an absolute winner - my favourite. But I also love this next choice - I know you think it not so good, but I love it. I thought a button down blouse perhaps. The colour blue is good, it is just a little muted, perhaps. I am excited to see what you make with this fabric too. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my blue outfit! I really don't think I will top that this year. Thanks so much for your suggestion on how to use the Linen fabric. Now I am back from my holiday I need to decide what to do!! Have a good week too🧵😊
Great garments from the fabric on the first spin!!! I love the jacket especially! Do you need bias tape? That’s out-of-the-box thinking for this week’s wheel. Haha! If it were for me, I’d make wrap, wide leg pants, but I know that’s not something you’d wear. Silver Threads is doing the Fabric Wheel of Fate, and just finished a beautiful skirt! Have a good week!
Ha ha that is a hilarious suggestion for the next fabric, brilliant 😂. Thanks for the comment on my makes, the jacket is my favourite too. I know Diann is doing the wheel and I am so excited for her, I sent her a message to apologise for not mentioning her. When I filmed that video she hadn't started it but she was so lovely as to forgive me! Thanks again 🧵😊
Wow Carole! Your activewear turned out awesome!! Great success. They look even better than high priced store bought. Give yourself a big pat on the back!!
Ha ha, Sweaty Betty or Lululemon do you think?! I honestly never understood why people pay so much for just leggings, I must be missing something 😂 Thanks for watching 🧵😊
Thanks so much for the kind comment! Also thanks for the suggestion for the Patina blouse, I will write that down on my list. That blue would look good with jeans as you say. 🧵😊
Aww thank you so much. The wheel really works for me and bringing the element of surprise into my sewing! I know it sounds crazy 😂. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
Amazing garment, I think they look fab together. If you are looking for kore Active Wear, Jenny stitches did a video last week of some new in stock to her. Not a great deal of choice but she did have co-ordinating plain fabric and the quality looked excellent. Look forward to seeing what you conjure up next week !
Thanks so much for watching and your kind comments. I will check out the channel you mention as good active wear fabric I am always looking for! Now onto this next more boring fabric! 🧵😊
Fab outfit! Love the jacket. I like the reverse coverstitch effect. I've done it when I made some alterations to a top I made which didn't look very nice, and I used a rainbow thread in the looper which really looks good. For the new fabric I think same as someone else suggested - if you don't want a shirt, maybe an apron or cushion covers or oven gloves.
Thanks so much! The jacket was my favourite bit too. I do love using the cover stitch like that, it is fun on sweatshirts too isn't it. I do love your idea of using rainbow thread. I need to get myself some of that, I hear it also tends to blend well. 🧵😊
Hi Carole! This is so much fun! I love the makes you've already made with your "rejected" fabrics. It makes me think of what I have in stash and what I can do with them. For the linen fabric the wheel chose today, I can see it in some kind of a spring/summer bomber jacket. It would be cute to throw on over a t-shirt and jeans for a casual day or on a walk. Another idea would be kitchen linens: apron, hot pads, napkins. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Great outfit Carole! Using the coverstitch machine has given the leggins a very professional look. The idea with the garment bag for the linen material sounds good or maybe a Japonese apron or some kind of back rest cusion or pouf ? Have a great weekend 🧵👍
Thanks so much for watching and your creative ideas for the next fabric! I do love using my coverstitch machine like that, it adds that 'bought' touch to a garment. 🧵😊
Lovely, they turned out really well. I love that jacket ! You could make a fitted, shorter sleeved blouse with a neru collar ( maybe dark blue ) and then wear it with the jacket over it . The pattern is lovely but , yes, it is a bit of a puzzler what to make. Hope you had a great time in Austria. have a nice week. Barb
Hi Barb, thanks so much for your comment. Also thanks for taking the suggestion for the next fabric. I do wish the fabric was white and blue not off white! We had a fab time in Austria, thank you 🧵😊
Hi Carole. Fabulous makes. You should be proud. I tried tracing a pattern from a Burda magazine and found it all to confusing. Congratulations to you for managing to.
Thanks so much for your comment. I do know what you mean about tracing those lines 😅. I did find that going over my pattern with a sharpie helped me to see a bit more clearly. 🧵😊
I agree, it will be hard to top that outfit but I believe in you! It's really great and I like how you pulled patterns from three different companies together to make it. I actually really like that linen fabric. I'm a sucker for anything linen or linen-blend (even better as it wrinkles less). My first thought would be a shirt dress but as you're not keen on it for a garment for yourself what about a shirt for Chris? It would make a great short sleeved tropical/camp shirt, or what about something like S1544 and use a second fabric for the inside cuffs/inside collar etc? I'm really looking forward to seeing what you decide upon for this one.
Thank you so much for watching and all those wonderful ideas for the next fabric, you are thinking along the same lines as me 😉. I love the print on the linen fabric it is just a shame it wasn't on white which I thought it was. I honestly don't think I will make anything better this year but let's see! 🧵😊
Fabulous FWoF!!!! Such great success with fabric that was hanging around. 🎉 The new fabric looks good on camera. Maybe a project other than a garment is the way to go. I have blue dishes, so placemats or napkins would be my plan. You’ll figure out something! 😊-Deborah
Hi Deborah! Thank you so much, I honestly never thought I would make that fabric into anything. Thanks for the ideas on the Linen fabric, I am making a list of everybody's suggestions! As you say, I will work something out. 🧵😊
Well done! I’m jealous you can cover stitch. I have a coverstitch/serger but can’t get it to work right. I’m sure it’s the machine, not me. 😊 Keep spinning. You wouldn’t have your jacket if you hadn’t forced yourself to do it with the spin.
Thanks so much! Don't worry I'll keep spinning as I do enjoy it but nothing will be as good as that 😂 I have a separate serger and cover stitch and sounds like that is much more user friendly! Have you searched TH-cam for your issues? There are so many experts out there. 🧵😊
All the garments look amazing! You did an excellent job picking out the fabrics and their construction. All three look wonderful on you. I completely understand why you’re so happy about the fabric and garments!
Thank you so much, I can't stop smiling about that jacket! I honestly didn't think I'd make anything nice out of that fabric. 🧵😊
Caroline, your. Items are so (sew) fantastic. You have done an amazing job with that fabric. It is wonderful to see you so pleased with your results. Roll on next challenge. Happy sewing. 😊 ❤😂🎉 🇦🇺 🪃
Thank you SEW much!! As you say roll on the next fabric but I know, nothing will top that for me. Have a good week 🧵😊
What a result Carole! That FWOW really worked its magic this time. 😊x
The wheel was certainly in my favour this time and I am so happy it made me use up that fabric!! Thanks so much for your kind comment 🧵😊
WOW, those outfits turned out brilliant, they look so good, especially the jacket, well done. Look forward to your next wheel of fate creation.
Aww thank you so much, I really appreciate that! Hope the next wheel fabric is half as good. 🧵😊
Love it alot you have done sooo well it fabulous I'd be happy to can't wait for the make its fun watching the other sewist joining in have a great week ❤😊😊
Thanks so much Robyn. I am thrilled that others are now joining in the Wheel fun, it works so well for me! 🧵😊
You are so right to be proud! These came out so beautifully!!!!!!! Well done!! Xx
Thanks Rachael. I honestly love that jacket so much 😂. I never thought I would get that fabric sewn up at all! Xx
What a triumphant make. Looks absolutely fantastic. You are such a great sewist. Love your wheel . Look forward to see what you get next.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that comment and your faith in me 🧵😊
Carole how fantastic!! 👏👏👏 K xxx
Thanks Kelly! 🧘🏼🏃🏼♀️xx
Fantastic! I'm so happy that you love what you're making with the wheel fabrics! Love the jacket and leggings!
Thanks so much Jane. So far so good with the Wheel! 🧵😊
Move over Sweaty Betty and Lou Lou Lemon Carole has arrived!😂 What a successful sew, you look great wearing that terrific outfit .❤
Amazing !!! and a tiny fraction of the cost of a whole Lululemon outfit 😂😂. Thanks so much for being so kind and being such a support to my channel xx🧵😊
I love your jacket, top and yoga pants. Turned out beautiful.
Pajama pants would be cute from that fabric.
Thanks so much, as you can tell I was quite happy! Thanks for the idea for the next fabric 🧵😊
That fabric would make a lovely Donny Shirt, XX
Thanks so much for that suggestion! I really must make another of those, with this fabric or something else. 🧵😊
Beautiful! Love the fabric colors and what a fit!!!
Thank you so much, I can't wait to wear the jacket the most 🧵😊
Carole, your workout outfit looks so professional.
A kimono dressing gown would look lovely in that fabric. Good luck!
Thanks so much for that suggestion, I will add that to the list! 🧵😊
Carole, It is so good to see you so happy. You did a beautiful job on your new outfit. I'm sure you will get a lot of wear out of your jacket. ❤🙂🙃🙂❤
Thanks so much Maureen, I could not hide my feelings about the jacket could I! I can't wait until Spring now so I can wear the jacket. Hope you are well 🧵😊
Something for Christmas? Tree skirt, placemats, folded decorations? Good luck Angela
Thanks so much for watching and your fab ideas. 🧵😊
Your enthusiasm over the outfit is absolutely adorable! You are so delightful and talented. Great outfit.
Thank you so much for all those kind comments, I couldn't hold back my feelings on these makes, partly because at last I had sewn up that fabric! 🧵😊
It looks awsome you did great thanks to the wheel of fate
Thank you so much, I love my wheel!! 🧵😊
Your workout outfit tuned out so cute! I would totally wear all the pieces together.
Thanks so much, you are probably right. It is the first time I have matching fitness wear! 🧵😊
Wow! Great job Carole! Love, love, love this whole outfit!❤
Yay, thank you so much! I can't wait to wear the jacket the most. 🧵😊
Can't wait to see what you come up with 🧵😊
A fantastic outfit Carole. The jacket especially. You are a very accomplished sewist. 🏆Well done Pat
Thank you so much, I really do appreciate your comment and faith in me! 🧵😊
Thanks so much for your lovely comment and what an interesting idea for the next fabric! I am loving all these suggestions 🧵😊
The linen would make a nice summer shirt for Chris.
😉 You are certainly thinking on the same line as me! Watch this space. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
Your activewear outfit is perfect! You did a great job with it! You will do a great job with that piece of fabric you have.
Thank you so much Zelda, you have so much faith in me!! 🧵😊x
Clever you. This outfit is fantastic. With today's fabric spin perhaps an apron, totebage, cushions.
Thank you so much! As you could tell, I was happy that fabric worked out. I appreciate your great ideas for the next fabric too. 🧵😊
I love the outfit! It looks fantastic on you. ❤
Aww thanks so much Lori. 🧵😊
Active wear - absolutely brilliant. enough said.🙂
Thank you Ann!!! It is the jacket that will get the most wear, for sure! 🧵😊x
Maybe a summer dressing gown
Thanks so much for watching and your idea for the next fabric! 🧵😊
@ cuz I love you Sister!!!!
Absolutely fantastic! All the items look great.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment 🧵😊
Wow. Love your outfit. Fantastic sew
Thank you so much, that is really kind of you 🧵😊
Wow, Carole.
Your new fabric is beautiful.
Good job!!! 🎉👍😊❤️
Aww thank you so much Nancy! You are way too kind. I love the suggestion of pillow covers and I will note that down on the list I am collecting. 🧵😊
Great job on your make! The fit is perfect. I think the new fabric would make great placemats or pillowcases. Good luck😊
Thank you so much for your kind comment on the makes and also your ideas on what to do with the Linen. I have so many ideas from you all 🧵😊
Lovely! Well done.
Thanks so much! 🧵😊
That all looks really great! Love it!
Thank you so much, I am so grateful for your kind comment 🧵😊
Ooohhh... I can hardly wait to see what you come up with for the bone and blue print now.
Bone and blue!! That is exactly the best way to describe that fabric, thank you 🧵😊
The whole ensemble looks AMAZING be very proud Carol xx
Thank you so much! 🧵😊
I can't wait to see what you make, I know it will be awesome and of course, fearless and fun!!! xx
Well all I can say is WOW !!! This outfit is just fabulous Carole, no wonder you’re chuffed. Great work. X
Aw thank you so much, I am so pleased with this as I think you could tell! Thanks for watching 🧵😊
Hi Carole, That athletic outfit is perfection! Well done!
Thanks so much, you are too kind! 🧵😊
They turned out great
Thank you so much 🧵😊
The linen would make a cute skirt.
Thank you so much for that suggestion 🧵😊
Have a good week too🧵😊
@ am excited to see what you make. Xx
Those outfits are awesome. You knocked it out of the ballpark.
Thank you so much, as I said, from now on 2025 will be boring makes! 🧵😊
GORGEOUS 😍... YOU ARE GORGEOUS IN YOUR GORGEOUS NEW OUTFIT!
You are the sweetest!! Thank you so much for your comment 🧵😊x
Just WOW!! I love this outfit! And it looks so good on you! Fabulous make!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! 🧵😊
Wow Carole! Your activewear turned out awesome!! Great success. They look even better than high priced store bought. Give yourself a big pat on the back!!
Aww thank you so much! That is quite a compliment! Move over Lululemon 😂. Have a great week 🧵😊
wow factor on the top and leggings 🎉
Thank you! You can tell I was happy too 😂 Thanks for watching 🧵😊
I love 5he viscose linen. Make a skirt 🤢❤
Thanks so much Anne, it is a really neat design so I am sure I will come up with something 🧵😊
Looks great all together Carole. You just spent a fortune in a sports store. 😮
Ha ha, Sweaty Betty or Lululemon do you think?! I honestly never understood why people pay so much for just leggings, I must be missing something 😂 Thanks for watching 🧵😊
Blue and cream would be great as table runner, placemats, napkins.
Oh thank you so much for those wonderful ideas! 🧵😊
Love your makes 😍! I think your linen would make beautiful Patina blouse that would look great with jeans in the spring &summer! 😉
Thanks so much for the kind comment! Also thanks for the suggestion for the Patina blouse, I will write that down on my list. That blue would look good with jeans as you say. 🧵😊
I love you and your wheel. Please keep having fun with this!
Aww thank you so much. The wheel really works for me and bringing the element of surprise into my sewing! I know it sounds crazy 😂. Thanks for watching 🧵😊
What a great use of both fabrics! How wonderful that you took fabric you dreaded and made wonderful pieces from it. They look fantastic.
Thanks so much, I am so glad that fabric is used now and it made some lovely pieces! I love my wheel 🧵😊
The athletic set is perfect! As far as the linen/ it always makes nice flowing pants!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that and also your idea for the linen 🧵😊
It looks so good! Amazing!
Thank you so much for watching🧵😊
Great makes!
Thank you so much 🧵😊
Fabulous outfits…..love the blue colour….gorgeous…😊🇦🇺
Thank you so much, that blue is wonderful isn't it. 🧵😊
Carole, I love the outfit! You’re ready for the gym or a nice walk!
I just finished a tee-shirt. Fit isn’t great but with a cardigan, it will be fine.
I certainly am ready! I have never have had matching fitness wear before. Can't wait to see you T shirt, there is nothing a nice cardi can't save! 🧵😊
Carole, bravo 👏 fantastic work. I knew you would make a brilliant outfit 😊. The linen could be a cushion cover?
Aww thank you so much for having faith in me! Thanks also for your idea for how to use the linen. Have a good week 🧵😊
Thank you so much for watching and all your creative ideas for the next fabric. I hadn't considered a jacket! 🧵😊
We had a fab time in Austria, thank you 🧵😊
@@socarole66 you could overdye the fabric to change the colour but that's a lot of work. Maybe home dec would work
I think the linen would be cute as a pair of shorts or cullotes for soring
Thank you so much for watching and your idea for the next fabric 🧵😊
Wow! All three pieces look great!
Thank you so much! 🧵😊
WOW! How beautiful!!! You did such professional sew on it! Bravo🎉❤
Yay, thank you so much, I really appreciate that 🧵😊
Beautiful jacket! All the makes turned out great and I agree on the colours…💙🩵
Ah thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment 🧵😊
Fabulous FWoF!!!! Such great success with fabric that was hanging around. 🎉 The new fabric looks good on camera. Maybe a project other than a garment is the way to go. I have blue dishes, so placemats or napkins would be my plan. You’ll figure out something! 😊-Deborah
Hi Deborah! Thank you so much, I honestly never thought I would make that fabric into anything. Thanks for the ideas on the Linen fabric, I am making a list of everybody's suggestions! As you say, I will work something out. 🧵😊
What a great job looks fantastic.
Thank you so much! 🧵😊
Well done! I’m jealous you can cover stitch. I have a coverstitch/serger but can’t get it to work right. I’m sure it’s the machine, not me. 😊
Keep spinning. You wouldn’t have your jacket if you hadn’t forced yourself to do it with the spin.
Thanks so much! Don't worry I'll keep spinning as I do enjoy it but nothing will be as good as that 😂
I have a separate serger and cover stitch and sounds like that is much more user friendly! Have you searched TH-cam for your issues? There are so many experts out there. 🧵😊
Great job, looks great on you, I like the linen, waiting to see it made up,
Thank you so much Brenda. I am sure with all these suggestions I am getting the Linen will become something! 🧵😊
