Nice, i had a street race car rc that did 62mph in 1985, it was the fastest rc known to man, stock with rubber slicks. It was awesome in the day
Thanks brother. I got it to 114mph and my Felony to 119mph and my Slash sits at 132Mph so far. So you go way back with RC like I do...lol. I started in 1980.

@@Planespotterdude Nice. Yeah I'm 1971...lol. A lot has changed since the early Tamiya days. I was out of it from 1995 until about 5 years ago. I didn't even know what a Lipo battery was until like 3 years ago...hahaha. I was blown away by how much power they hold. It a new hobby to me all over again. I never dreamed I'd have an RC car up to 132Mph or 212Kph.

Hahaha! Nice. I love the Infraction. The X-01 motor is now in it with a Max5 esc and 34/40 gears. Hope it keeps running straight. 😧
@@KaizerTest is it hard to hold it straight or does the acc help more than the driver what a pass tho flaming fast keep em coming with the new set up would you say the motor is way better than the stock esc would you recommend a whole new set up or just the esc🤣 peace out and thank you for the speed pass almost losing a rig too
@@gonzodetroitify Hi bro. With a little toe out and neutral camber the car runs very straight and most speed run cars will "lock in" and go straight above like 60-70mph. The gyro avc helps a little but I run almost no AVC. If you have too much on, the car will have a rear end speed wobble. On the new V2 Infractions you can get 90Mph or slightly over just by adding the 27T pinion. This is because the final drive is different... the V2 uses a 2.85 differential ratio and the V1 uses a 3.30 diff ratio. This just means you wont have to use such a big pinion and small spur to achieve the same final drive ratio. The stock motor can do over 100mph as long as you only do 1 pass and let it cool. The esc is a bottleneck and one that can handle more amps is a good idea. To be honest it's better to get a more powerful motor as well.
So this Infraction currently has a Castle 1717 motor and a Hobbywing Max 5 esc and has done 114Mph so far. A better combo would be to get the Mamba Monster X 8s and 1717 Castle motor combo in 1650kv. You can get this combo and do 140mph maybe 150mph. With a GT body 150 for sure.

Too much battery and gearing for the esc. A cap pack might help it push more amps through but then it may catch fire.

Oh yeah...easy. First time it's ever put the rubber to pavement and it gets 90Mph on stock system. This car is a pleasure to drive fast. I have a Max 5 and a MM X 8s just deciding which esc it gets. Going to try the stock motor before it gets a Castle or TP.

Thanks. Yeah it needs a cap pack. I have since put a Hobbywing Max 5 in and got 111Mph on weak 8s. I have some better batteries coming.

Like #5 nice pull what's wrong with the breaks your lucky 90 mph ain't bad out the box I hit 93 with mine but I'm running a 2200kv max6 esc combo you will have to put a castle esc in there so you can get more speed with out having cut outs
I'm not sure why it cut out on me. It's a 100c battery with no cap pack and stock Blx185 so maybe cant handle the battery and huge draw. Could be cutout...not sure.
Is your V1 or V2? V2 has different differential gear ratio and can do 90 out of the box with 27T pinion. I tried to make it somewhat equal by changing the spur gear as well this being a V1.
Yeah I'm going to put a Mamba Monster X 8s in it I think. I also have a Max 5 esc but that's a big puppy. I will need to reverse the motor and mount for that. Probably heading down that road anyways so might as well do it from the beginning...lol.
So no brakes. ..🤔 and the extra antena in the remote what's that for...
When you gear up and are going this fast the brakes don’t work as well. The signal booster on my radio increases the distance of the radio so I dont lose signal.
And I always run castle creations. Never had any cut out. Just saying..... lol
I'm running a MMX8s in all my cars now. One threw a couple fan blades and because the fan has that internal switch and isn't always on I didn't know it was jammed. Because of that I overheated it and it cut out.
@@KaizerTest that’s understandable. But no cut out from power draw .
Be careful with that stock system running the 27 tooth pinion. I have seen a lot people burn up the car doing it
That motor and esc are loooong gone.
I got a 27t saga pinion with a 34t spool from flopack I will not be using because I wanna speed but also do some donuts what will be good for that
Keep the stock spur 46T in and run 21-23T pinion. Keep an eye on temps.

@@kryptonitelegacy4050 No problem bro. Basically somewhere in between the stock pinion and the 27T pinion should be good. If you run it for a bit then take breaks to cool every now and then you can try and go up a bit more on the pinion.

That 27t will make it overheat??
Yes it will overheat. You can only do 1 or 2 high speed passes and then let it cool for 20min. This setup isn't for parking lot bashing. You will cook the motor. But if you look at my videos I'm mainly a speed runner looking for top speed numbers. I like to see how far I can push these cars.

Wtf the brakes
The esc cut out. It's too many amps that I'm trying to force out the 150 amp esc. The battery is a 6000mah 100c graphene and the bottleneck is the esc. I have a Mamba Monster X 8s on the way or I will use a Max 5 I have. I'm going to get this puppy really fast. I range tested my radio tonight just to make sure and it went further than I could see...plus I still had steering so I'm 100 percent sure it's just the esc.
