I can still feel my hands shaking. What a blast that was!!! Driving an RC over 60mph gets your blood pumping. It's a little bit terrifying. I made sure that I was on a road that didn't have a curb. It wasn't the perfect road as it was narrow, but it was smooth and doesn't see a lot of traffic. The crown of the road is a bit high so it's hard to keep the truck straight. What I need to find is a large parking lot. I'm still searching for one I can use.
Anyone have any insight into my reception loss? It's odd that I can hit the brakes, but then lose steering immediately after. I can't be just finding the exact end of reception to hit the brakes and then just pass out of reception that many times in a row. It's odd for sure. I'll have to bind it to my DX4R Pro and see if that is better. I've never had signal loss with it before...but I've never really run in this style before. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

just picked up the Infraction this past week and the first thing I did was install the new Pinion gear and the truck would go into limp mode if I attempted to give it full throttle. I would also loose signal reception with the vehicle and I found myself walking to the vehicle in order to get reception again. I installed the stock pinion gear and so far so good no issues.
😲 Wow it fly's! You should have used the G force over lay it would have been neat to see how it pulled... You better contact Basher Boi about the radio problem! 😁 LOL!

I read the comments before watching the video and I noticed the dragonfly taking a rest .
These animals is very Social actually. Last week one of them did stay very close to me for about 1hour when i was BBQ outside and eating. Couple times this was on my hand also like 10-20 seconds at time. I love Dragon Fly´s today alot. We have more of them here. Couple years ago i newer almost see them at all. They are more than welcome here today if you ask me :) I like them alot :) LOL

I'm not giving up on the controller yet. I'll try new batteries in it. I've been running the truck a lot. Didn't think about having fresh batteries in it. The truck is ballistic.

My DX4C has never really had a signal loss problem, until I get to my speed run road. It's lost the signal 3X. And doesn't reconnect until I am 15' away from the RC. The crazy thing is that I never have this problem, until I am on my Speed run road! Everywhere else it's just fine.

Thanks bro! I've never really had an issue like that before. I'll try new TX batteries first and if that doesn't help...I'll bind my nicer Spektrum TX to it. It's weird that it let me brake...but then went limp after.

Yo on the eastcoast we had problem getting the infraction got my hands on 2 and even then once I loose reception that shit goes away u a wild goose my friend lol and u might keep loosing cause u gunning all the way to the start point the not rookie move to do is coast to your start point then hit on the way down

I also noticed the drone batteries have more punch just smaller packs.try getting few and running them parallel too lighten infraction and possibly get more m.p.h....all of it is experimental when come down too it Tony.great job for your 1st crack at it.

Haha. Thanks. Yes it is Spektrum. That's what I typically run. Haven't had this issue before. Gonna try new batteries in it. Didn't think about having fresh ones in it.

Pretty sure it's the radio that's the issue. I would swap that out ASAP and you should be ok after that. If you still have issues, however, then there's a Gremlin hiding in there somewhere that will need some investigating to find.

I agree that the radio is probably the issue. I try to keep as many stock items as possible in the beginning for people that buy them and run them as is. Then show upgrades as necessary. I’ll try the radio one more time whit fresh batteries. If that doesn’t work, then I’ll bind to my DX4R Pro.
It was pretty terrifying driving it that fast. Going to take a bit to get used to. Haha. I’m used to bashing not blasting.
I wasn't running my rechargeable AA batteries either, because I always swap out for a set of Energizer batteries before the run. So I am not really sure why it was dropping the signal.

I mentioned the tall crown in the description. Definitely caused me some handling issues.

Very possible. I'm going to try new batteries in the Transmitter too. I want to show people what they can do with it stock with most of the stock items before I change to my better TX.
@@CCxRC one of my speedrun spots also has powerlines and I'm having range issues there, too. And that's with a Tactic TTX300. It's my video with 83.3mph in the title.

I have two pinion gears, one is 22t the other is 26t, both are mod 1 & 5mm. The 22t meshes well, the 26t doesn't. Why is that?

That's $250 I don't have to spend 😄 I'm going to try fresh batteries in the stock remote first. I also have the DX4R Pro by Spektrum I can bind to it. I just like to show it as out of the box stock as I can for people who may buy it and not have all the extras. But if range is still an issue after using fresh batteries, then I'll bind to my DX4R Pro.
Wow those tyres are taking a beating, all you can do is some rotation of the front to the rear to get a bit more life from them, I see the guy with the Limitless, tried some GRP medium belted on his and had a blow out, luckily it was not the Infraction as it would have damaged bodywork.

150 Feet of range is unacceptable for a car that fast.. I hope they fixed that because mine should be arriving in a day or two.
Agreed. I did realize that I had put used batteries in it. New batteries were much better.

If that's all the range you get with these new models I expect we'll see lots of totaled Infractions in a few weeks. YIKES.. that's scare for a speed runner. More range needed! Or it's a weird ESC brownout issue during braking.

I have built what looks like a limitless 6months ago outa typhon, senton, kraton chassis.its running 2 stock blx systems with b.e.c and cap packs.yet too put those 2#34 tooth pinions on.....
Sounds killer. are those the pics I've seen floating around on Facebook? I need to try cap packs. Never done those.
If you have the stability turned up too high it'll make the car spin out as well don't know if that could be your issue as well but you could try that
Jeffrey Williams AVC was turned down. The spin out was me stopping hard to avoid losing reception.
The edge was me trying to save it from going offroad at full speed and tumbling.
Right, we was playing with a Tc3 road car built up and put a brushless system in it and only controller we had laying around was the flysky GT5 and the vehicle stability kept making it spin out will it got up to higher speed is the only reason why I mentioned it but as soon as my infraction gets shipped are we able to check out some speed runs by self
Jeffrey Williams I had that happen when I was traveling with it and pulled the transmitter from my suitcase. It has spun the dual to 100% and I didn’t notice. It was uncontrollable at speed. 😂 then I realized what was happening.

Not great. Just smooth and long. It’s not flat either, so the hump in the middle makes it hard to drive straight.

It gives more top speed. It will run hot if you do more than just quick speed runs. Not meant for continuous driving at full power

It was good exercise. 😂 So much walking. Once I get the reception figured out...I'll feel more comfortable with it. It's definitely making me try new things. I haven't wanted to pick up any of the other RCs at the moment because I'm having so much fun with this one.

No. I’m going to try new batteries first in the transmitter for best signal possible. I like to try to show people what can be done with it out of box first. Then I’ll bind my DX4R Pro to it.
The powerlines and also your cell phone can mess up the reception. Try no powerlines and putting the phone in airplane mode if you have it in your pocket
I’ll work I’m taking out the power lines with my 1:1 car and then quickly try to get in a speed run before the power company comes to fix it

Looks like the braking at high speed is causing the skid. No real grip on thos tires. Theyre made to let it drift. On board cam showed wheels spinning in reverse for a moment
Yeah. I didn’t want to continue hard braking, but if I did a light brake and then tried to steer, the wheels wouldn’t turn at all and it would roll into the ditch. If I could steer , it would’ve been fine. So what I did was just brake hard and try to stop it

Hard to tell from the footage what exactly was happening when it was far out. when i saw the way it skidded with the onboard it seemed to just lose traction. Idk im not the driver. I watched someone else top it out at 80 w/o cutting the wing, high downforce and traction
You saw right. At that point I realized my only shot was to go fast and stop fast and hope I kept reception. 😂 you see it right. In the wide shots I was going slow. Would tap the brake to slow and then it would roll without being able to steer or brake again. I have a DRX4 Pro I can bind to it.

Stupid fast, bro. Nice runs aside from the range issues. I swear it's those Spektrum radios, man. Love the Tactic radio. It works great and has great range. I'm actually curious why they made the switch. The Spektrum is definitely not an upgrade. 🤔
That's your opinion. I work at a hobby shop and we see tons of issues with the tactic gear. Spektrum is a fantastic brand and the only people I ever see talking down on them are people who aren't smart enough to understand that they are having problems as a result of user error lol
It a shame that that crappy spektrum radio horizon is pushing down our throats wont keep up with an arrma... the tactic ttx300 was a 10 times better unit... and it wasnt awkwardly large and ugly and cheap... GET IT TOGETHER HORIZON... WHAT CRAP. great run tony love the channel!!!!!!!
This has the DX2E Active which I don't mind. I do like the feel of the Tactic, but this is DSMR Protocol with AVC technology which is more then some of the others get. Someone had a good tip to change the batteries. That's probably smart because I 've been running it a lot.

This look like the old times 15years ago radiosystems with 27/40MH . What is this?... HAHA.. Then also to be truth= Talking about temps is not right thing to do maybe, because you have double fan system there from Y-R , this is not stock . What happens when you drive like this without extra Fans? What happens when you drive the car out from box without fans? Arrma maybe need change things before they start sell this as safe 80mph out from box ? .. Anyways: Nice place/road . Fix radio, mount new tyres. Then maybe you do 85mph next time without issues :)
Dude what is up with that reception!?!? You can’t get any flatter or more open then where you are... so weird! My Xmaxx would do the same with the traxxas Tx so I switched it to Spektrum to relieve the issue Lol Btw, how do you get that dope heads up telemetry?
Hey James. It was weird. I will say...they were used batteries in the transmitter and I didn't think about that until someone mentioned putting fresh batteries in it. LOL. I just wanted to play and pulled batteries out of one of my other transmitters. The telemetry is done using a GoPro. The Hero 5 - Hero 7 models have had GPS in them. Then you import it to the computer and it allows it to be added via the GoPro Quik editor.

I think you screwed the pooch by cutting your wing down it was designed at the factory and tested over and over again for maximum performance
I’m glad you noticed that. Most haven’t mentioned it. It has cut lines. See the product shots on tower hobbies, it’s cut down. It does give more down force, but also creates drag. Plus they are selling the wings separately, so I thought I’d try it since I can replace it now.

That spektrum radio sux. Arrma should have never changed from the Tactic TTX300. The Tactic TTX300 is a great radio. that new spektrum is garbage.
