- This is short update on the problems faced in past 3 weeks regarding to this WhirlPool Refrigerator.

I faced the exact same problem...I had bought it too from Vijay Sales and the exact same model. Has Whirlpool offered you a refund?

Well I got the same problem as you guys.
Got my Fridge replaced within 10 days.
after almost 1.5 years of this fridge i have got some solutions for this problem.
well the problem lies in the design of the evaporator coil of the fridge in the freezer section.
The Main flaw lies in the way Curved plastic portion of the freezer compartment is designed.
too much ice builds up in the freezer's evaporator coils which chokes the cooling to the upper section.
Whenever, you will inadequate cooling in the upper section, keep the refrigerator shut off for 12-24 hrs with doors open (this is called defrosting. When too much ice/frost builds up in the evaporator coils, you need to defrost the fridge so that the ice melts completely.)
Now what to do to avoid the ice formation.
In summer,
Keep the freezer temperature at -12 C (i.e, highest temp of the freezer) and the fridge section at 1/2 degree C.
With this settings, I see no choking of the evaporator coil and the refrigerator is working great as well as the cooling is very good in both the sections .
In winter,
Keep the freezer section same , just change the Fridge section temp to 4/5 degree C .
Hope this solution help you guys.
Remember whenever you feel cooling is inadequate, check whether the coil is choked or not and whether defrosting is required or not.
How you got the replacement...I am facing the same issue and it's been six month only I buy this product .. customer service visited two times and now telling me to replace the part or fridge they are not giving replacement of the refrigerator...how you got it

I have bought this BMR fridge in august 2020.. after 4-5 months , same problem as stated in the video.. fridge got replaced...now in April 2023 again same problem i have faced..no they have changed the pcb but since today morning again same problem i am facing after 4 daye of new pcb part...

Same problem, the top portion does not cool and technician says this is a problem with this model as the ice in freezer clogs the ducts which circulate cool air to the fridge. They said they will replace but no idea when they will contact me.

We bought the same 2 years back 😢 facing the same problem .. every time a person comes takes 350 rs service charge .. but no improvement 😢 all my food item getting spoiled
I had the issue with this last month. And got the pcb replaced after 1 month yesterday. Will sell it now can't afford to continue with this.

I am facing same problem with my Whirlpool frost free triple door fridge. Freezer is working but the lower two compartments are not cooling at all. It stopped working approximately after expiring the warranty period and they have called me several times before to extend the warranty period for rupees two thousand, but we denied it. So the point is may be they are having this problem with their refrigerators and that's why trying to sell 'warranty extension'. Pathetic company selling pathetic products!!!!

I had same problem, this series has this defect. Wirlpool have stopped building this model now and they have refunded me every single penny as well. Wirlpool company is good but this product have defective compressor.

I faced same issue as you have mentioned. Purchase yesterday and today the guy from company came and said they will replace the fridge within this week. Let's see now when will I get the fridge. Did u get the replacement??
I was offered a replacement but the lot of new fridge was to come late by dec mid week and for me that was more than a month .As i had purchased this from vijay sales they said to buy another one is the same price which i did.

This model have lot of problems, i also replaced due to water leakage in freezer. When i get the new one, the top compartment of the refrigerator differs in temperature with lower compartments. Bad product.

Bro i have the same fridge and there’s no issue with this fridge you have selected wrong mode you have to select quick chill mode it will work
Quick chill mode select karke upar wala portion fridge cooling karega kya?

Please keep ur refrigerator shut with open doors for 24hrs.... Then u can restart! That might help ! I was facing the same issue... The technician asked me to do this... And the problem was solved!

Ek bekar product hai 6 months se problum face ker rahe hoon abhi 9 September ko he 1 year warranty khatam hua hai pandamic time tha to service engineer ko nahe bula paye fir weather thoda theek ho gaya cooling cum raha but it's normally worked but in hot weather not good work mere sabhe item kharab ho gaye if it's not work in hot weather to freez ka kya matlab hai?

Call Whirlpool helpline and ask for product replacement and go with the normal double door. They will force you to take BMR in replacement but aap normal double door hi lena replacement me

Hi friends, we do had the same Bottom Mount refrigerator 360L and faced the same issue, the service person changed PCB once, bit the issue remains same, the issue has been escalated to Whirlpool for a replacement

Ye freeze 2 saal pehle liya. 1 saal me kharab ho Gaya. Company me phone Kiya, bole warranty apke 2 din pehle gai, mother board problem hai, lekin mother board apko market me nahi milega na rapsir hoga, garmi thee, majboti me Naya mother board Lena pada, ab 1 saal baad phir bahi problem de Raha hai, ye freeze bilkul na lena.

Bro I am facing same problem. With my refrigerator Whirlpool double doors BMR I have brought in August 2020. We had called them on 6 March 2021 for complaint they have send two people from Whirlpool and then no news of the and we been calling non stop to call center. And today morning they have call us that I will replace and it will take ten more days. Anyhow I think Whirlpool is doing fraud with Indian customer's.
If I don't replace my refrigerator I will case against Whirlpool.

Ask the company for product replacement. Actually This BMR is poorly designed. So go with the normal double door refrigerator.

Actually upar intellisense off karlo. Set temperature manually to 2 degree. It will resolve.
Its a software issue I guess with intellisense feature

we had purchased it from Kohinoor we had to ask for replacement from whirlpool only abhi hum dusra low range ka mang rahe hai which is not intellifresh but they are not ready to refund difference ye model mein hi problem hain
