At 12:19 - that first countdown is for dropping in divetoss mode. You can ignore it, the ‘real’ countdown for level bombing is the green brick that comes from the top of the fall line a few seconds later. You can also delay pressing the weapon release button until this second countdown timer starts (but it doesn’t matter if you press and hold too soon).
It's not for DTOS. It's for lofting. You follow the ASL, wait for #1, pull up, hold pickle, wait for #2, automatic release. IIRC release parameters for CCRP can be configured in the SMS profile, which doesn't matter that much with LGBs and proper lazing. "Smart" weapons like JDAMs work the same, but can be dropped after #2, as long as you're within the range envelope. To be fair, DTOS does have similar functionality with a #1 and #2 cue.
You performed the annual landing gear stress test landing. ;D Plus the maximum pucker factor ground attack. Pretty cool. BTW the lambs wool seat covers are so comfortable it is amazing.
Saving tax dollars by doing the landing gear stress tests at the end of sorties! Ngl... I thought I was going to eat dirt at that moment. I haven't sat in an F-16 myself, sadly, only the AH-64D and CH-47.
20:05 yeah in these situations with my students, when you are about to hit the deck, for many the first reaction is just pull no matter what horizontal angle you are in and thats wrong, always level your wings than pull, nice save man, plz provide us with this mission file plz, tx yeah the landing you need to put the velocity vector in the bracket between -5 degrees even -3degrees when you are about 1 mile of the runway, 3 ticks of trim nose up and speed around 166-150knt but overall great flying Robin
Hey! Thanks for the info! I had to look through my PC given this was a mission I made on my old PC, but I did find the .miz file. There is however no mission description or anything because I made it just for the video, not with the intent to publicize it.
Bedankt man!
How do you follow the plane with your camera like that 9:37 Because I want to use something else than F3, can you please tell or make a tutorial? Thank you
If you press Ctrl+F11 you get a free moving cam. You can place that anywhere you want. Once you have it in the location you want all you have to do is look at the aircraft you wish to track and hit "." on your Numpad. It'll track that aircraft.
@@Robinblitz Thank you very much, I'll try it out, I've tried to see so many vids ab how to take shots like that and didn't find any, you saved it! Btw keep up the great work! Amazing video, and I also like to put my C/F on byp and max state (4) like u do xd.
the only deep sad thing in these videos is that you dont share the Miz -Mission file, i would love to try it..i cant. is the mission default in DCS? tx, nice flying
Hey hey. Every time I run a mission, I run it off a dedicated server on my own PC. Server playback tracks do not have the issues that local playback tracks in DCS have.
@@Robinblitz I would have believed you, if you had bellied the ground as you nearly did! I guess you're threat to slam the ground was enough to send it into submission!
Lol, weeeeee. My heart stopped when you did a close up ground inspection. Great vid. Fun to watch.
Yeah I had to make sure the ground wasn't running away! But my heart stopped as well when I saw how close I was getting...

I actually didn't know that and I fly the F-16 A LOT. Thanks! I usually hold the pickle button ~10 seconds before dropping.

this guy deserves more subs!
Thank you! I really appreciate that!
Anyone who put time in creating realistic missions with feedback from the community deserves more subs
@@deanfitzsimmons8766 I try! Working on a fictional campaign currently to record later on.
Nice flight! Nice video 😀
Thank you! Planning to make more videos currently.
Oh man. Pretty sure your fuselage scraped the trees on that last gun run! Good save! Great aim too!
For sure! Had a date with the deck there.
@@Robinblitz pretty sure you got to "first base", lol

Also, loving the footage! Teach me the ways!
Sure can, gonna need quite some time to explain it though haha.

Als ik de f16 wat verder heb geleerd. Zou we n keer kunne samen spelen.

Hi Robin, how do get such nice game recordings? With the playback track from DCS? Thanks!

So, the biggest threat you faced was the ground!
Was that an example of the meaning for "ground attack?" LOL
Yeah, the ground commited war crimes I had to take care of!

Heb je een link naar deze missie?
Sorry, ik zie de reactie nu pas. Nee, dit is een missie die ik zelf gemaakt heb puur voor TH-cam.
